Knot A Typical Love Story

Rate this book
My mating day. My only chance for a happily ever after as an Omega.

Except we've been lied to--there's no such thing.

My future lies with an abusive, ruthless stalker. An Alpha, Steele, the pack leader's son and my future husband in an arranged marriage. Until I perfume for three Alpha males I never would have chosen, but are my fated

Xavier: My possessive, dominant high school sweetheart, back from being exiled to a work camp on the fringes of our pack.
Kael: My goofy, overprotective best friend since childhood
Eryx: The suited up, flirty, charismatic emissary for another pack who's working behind the scenes to bring our pack's bonding laws into the 21st century I must choose between loyalty and freedom.

This 55,000+ word novel a non-shifting, non-M/M omegaverse, friends to lovers, second chance romance, sexy sexy times with medium burn and dirty talk, knotting, heats, nesting, a cinnamon roll Alpha who worships their Omega, touch her and die vibes, a kick ass heroine who's still vulnerable, mystery and suspense. This book is Book 1 in a series and includes a cliffhanger, but a HEA is guaranteed.

would not recommend

Not well sequenced.. too many statements that were not explained.. improbable situations. I wish that I had put this down halfway through and DNF. Also it ends in a cliffhanger that does not even entice me to read the next book.

A decent omegaverse book. I love this trope so it was a pretty good read if you like omegaverse and RH. I liked the cute things the MMC’s did for the fmc and wish there was more between each boy and the fmc.

I think the only thing I didn’t really like was how the characters were introduced, wish they had more of a back story too. It was interesting how the villain got his own chapters but kinda unnecessary, it really just made the story darker and a little uncomfortable.

Decent read just not my fav, plz read it cause it may be your new fav 😍

The story was good, but the AI voice narration was horrible. Choppy, no real change to the character voices. actually, when I noticed changes, it was in the opposite direction they should be. With the males' voices pitching higher and the FMC voice going lower. No emotion, so the story became bland. I will not be listening to the next book.

Interesting

This was a refreshing Omegaverse book. I enjoyed the story and how it was not just hot scenes but an actual story. I could not put this book down.
With additional books to build on the story I think it will only get better. I cannot wait to read.

Wonderful book

First time reading this author's books. I couldn't put this book down. The book has a entertaining feel with each character, good amount of smut, and the storyline was flawless. Give this book a try. I'm glad I did and can't wait to read book 2!!!!

needs editing

Lots of typos and syntax errors. I felt as if these characters were half human and half animal? Maybe it’s just me?

Rating: 4.5 ⭐️ (rounded up!)

This was a fun and exciting read! This book immediately captures your attention and holds it. It dives right into the conflict, action, and romance. The worldbuilding is expertly interwoven with the plot, providing us with more and more insight without bogging down the story.

The author took full advantage of the reverse harem setup to provide many of my favorite tropes (and types of heroes!) in the same book. Tropes include friends-to-lovers, second chance, and tortured hero (that is battling his feelings, of course). The slow burn in the book was delicious. While it does deliver some spice, it still left me wanting more and excited for the next book.

The FMC’s POV is highly relatable. Her decisions, reasoning, and actions make sense, which sets this book apart from many others in the genre. As a result, I found her very likable. I also enjoyed seeing the villain’s POV since we as readers don’t always have great insight into villains’ psyches.

My only critiques are that some of the action scenes seemed to end prematurely and that there was the occasional typographical error. However, these quibbles did not hinder my overall enjoyment of the book.

All in all, this was an excellent start to a new series. I look forward to what the author has in store for us next!
