To get your Extra Class license you must pass a multiple-choice test. The Extra license test consists of 50 questions drawn from a pool of 603. From "0" zero to Amateur Extra
Wow I can not say enough. I started from nothing other than I you should, from a book I was reading. I started with one course (not fast track) for technician. Do not get me wrong it was a good course and when I was told that I can take the general test the same day as technician I got their general course. It was different than their tech course so I looked around and found fast track. 5 days later I took and passed both technician and general. Then they told me that I could take the extra. I failed with 49%. But I really liked the way that the fast track general was written. Not just answers to memorize, but how and why. But done quickly so you don't get bogged down. If you want or need to know more there are links for where to get more. Their math book is fantastic as well. So I got the Kindle version on my phone and a new calculator.

Great system. Particular because it clearly and effectively explained the theory behind the subject matter. My knowledge has been significantly enhanced. I feel I am prepared to take the exam based on what I learned and not from rote memorization.
