Thought-provoking and emotionally poignant,  Losing Myself to Find Him stirs the heart, quiets the mind, and gently inspires the searching soul. Told through the lens of one woman's spiritual journey, McKenna Vietti gently guides readers through complex questions about purpose, vocation, and identity. Relying on biblical wisdom and reflective prose, Prothesis draws the reader to rest in God-despite holy laments and broken dreams-and intentionally live up to one's unique calling.

"By sharing her quest for meaning and a purposeful life, McKenna Vietti shows us that self-discovery is only possible as part of knowing God. Letting go of our own plans, dreams, and expectations and letting God direct our lives and shape our hearts is the key to becoming and living in harmony with our true selves. This book is a powerful reminder that being is before doing and, in the doing, we find the being.

Prothesis follows the journey of a young woman searching to find her identity and striving to fulfill her calling. A hybrid memoir blending stories from the author's life with reflections on what she's learned, this book explores major questions like How do I discover my calling? and How do I know whether my work glorifies God? McKenna doesn't give pat answers; instead, she offers thoughtful reflections sure to spark more in-depth thought on these topics. This is an especially helpful resource for young people trying to figure out what to do with their lives, but nearly anyone seeking guidance in these matters will find this to be a relevant read.
