These two books just had a lot of holes. So many holes. This felt like it was Liam & Nat's story instead of Ryan & Nat's...also if her parents died when she was 15 and it was 5 years ago, how is she 19?!? Umm somebody's math is wrong and not just with her. With Liam too. He's 23 as stated in this book but he's been in a rock star for 8 years which would've made him 15 but he didn't leave home till is was 16 and didn't meet Ryan till he was 18, and rushing their band to get signed would mean they've only been famous for 5 years. It just didn't add up for me. There's promise here with this author but there was a lack of story in this and the first book and it felt rushed to me. I would've liked more Ryan in this book since well it was actually his book.

I received an ARC of this book - and I couldn't wait to start reading it. I'll admit it, I devoured it..picked it up and didn't stop until the end - that great!

After reading the previous book in this series, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one and see where the story went. The crazy cliffhanger that we were left with was testing my patience. This book started right where the other one left off and went on another crazy ride from there. The story did a little more digging into the characters' pasts (which was great). I found out a lot more about Liam, Ryan, and the others that was not revealed before. There was a lot of emotion and I found this book sweeter and not quite as raw as the first book, but that didn't take away from the story at all.

The major twist in the book came about half way through, and I was dying to see how it turned out. It may have been a little predictable, but I loved watching it play out until the end.

Overall, loved it - can't wait for the next book and Liam's story!

Got this book as an ARC.

After reading the 1st book with this crazy ass cliffhanger that just killed me wanting to know more about. I couldn't wait to get my hands on the next book Last Chance. The story between Nat and Ryan is a great story. And you will fall in love with Liam if you haven't yet. How he just took charge. I can't wait to get my hands on Liam's story and the rest of the boys
Overall I just loved this book.
Keep up the fabulous job that you are doing.

I received an ARC for an honest review.

We pick up where we left off because in the first one we were left to question whether Natalie would be ok. Just within a few chapters I was already crying because I could relate to some things being mentioned. This was an amazing closure between Natalie and Ryan.

In the first one Natalie has demons of her own. She keeps herself closed off and has a hard time letting people get close to her. Her best friend Layla is really the only one that knows how she feels. The guilt that Layla has eats at her for the accident that happened to Nat's parents. She does everything in her power to keep Natalie protected. When Natalie attempts suicide it all spirals out of control and its something Layla is having a hard time accepting. She vows that if Natalie pulls through this she will never leave her. Then there is Liam who has a special friendship and connection with Natalie from day one. They both have a mutual understanding of pain that's happened in their lives.

The story flows between POV's of Layla and Liam in the beginning then Ryan and Natalie throughout. I loved how that was written in and knowing what each character was going through. I could feel the pain, emotions, love, all of it. Ryan knows she's the one and its not something that just happens over night this is something that progresses in time. He does some crazy things to see her when she's in the hospital because Liam doesn't want Ryan near her. He has a feeling Ryan is part of the reason why she tried to take her life and he wants to protect her. But Ryan being the way he is comes up with a plan to keep him, Jason, Zepp, and Gage disguised so the media won't be swarming the hospital. It cracked me up what the costume store put the guys in especially Ryan.

Ryan tries so hard to keep himself in check to give Natalie what she needs which is time. But he just can't take it anymore. The mistake that Natalie believed happened in the first book never really happened or I should say nothing happened she ran off before he could explain. Though I would do the same. Ryan nabs her at her place and takes her to a house he bought to show her that he wants her in his life. He wants a chance to explain what happened. Things progress and some hot steamy sex happens. When its over Ryan says something that just breaks Natalie's heart once again but she didn't give him a chance to go further into what he meant. The rest of the bandmates see this change in Ryan they all know that he's in love with Natalie and they all do what they can to try to get them back together.

There are so many good parts in the book that just got to me and made tears form in my eyes. Natalie is a lot stronger than she gives herself credit for she thinks she's weak but she's not. I love how the book ended though I wanted a bit more but I still had a big smile on my face and tears in my eyes.

If you haven't read part 1 you need to. Its so worth it. Thank you so much Andrea for giving me and your readers what we wanted. Thank you for making me laugh and cry. Thank you for writing a book where I fell in love with all the characters. I can't wait to hear about Liam and Layla. I'm even curious about my other boys Zepp, Jason, and Gage. HINT HINT!!!!!!

This quote was in the book. My father use to preach this too me when I was younger and I now say it to my daughter.
"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!" Yep, I can say that's happened to me a few times in my life. We all make mistakes and we have to live with them, just as Natalie and Ryan have to do.

ARC received from the author in exchange for an honest review
*sigh* Sometimes I get sad when a good story ends, this is one of those times. The first part of the story ends in a big cliffhanger so I needed to know more and soon, was happy that the author did not take too long writing the next part and also glad I was able to get an ARC. The book is not out yet but will be soon.
So I won't spoil anything but I will tell you a little bit about what goes in this part of the story.
Natalie and best friend Layla have a very special bond, they are like sisters. We know from the previous book that Natalie is broken and why. But on this part of the story we get to know Layla a little bit more and I absolutely loved that, we got to see how she really felt. Very emotional. We also get to know more about Liam and if you have not yet fallen in love with him in part one, then I can guarantee you will fall in love with him this time, I did. He is Steele's best friend and there is a little bit about how they got to where they are, there is some of his past revealed in this part of the story. He also forms a special bond with Natalie, and we get to see more of that. They become really good friends.
Also we get a peek at what Steele thinks but not as much as we got from part one. We do see his determination at wanting to get Natalie to be with him.
So I am going to say that this one ended in the most romantic way. I actually was so happy at how it ended, even happier to learn that we get book 3 with Liam's story, I could cry, lol! I really fell in love with Liam so I want him to get his happy ever after too.
So yes, this is a HEA, it has a few twists in the story. It has some sad moments and many happy moments. It's perfect. Loved it all!

REVIEW
This is book 2 in the series and it picks right up where book 1 left us hanging.
Natalie awakens in the hospital. Liam and Layla are there beside her letting her know she was in a coma for the past few days.
After some tests and getting cleared they are visited by the band members all of them are dressed in costumes to hide who they really are. Ryan of course is with them and Natalie wants nothing to do with him but she also does not / is not ready to let her best friend Layla know what happened between them.

Ryan has his hands full with trying to get Natalie to talk to him. If his best friend Liam would talk to him and tell him things he wouldn’t have to do what he was planning on doing. He sneaks up on Natalie and pulls her into his car and takes her off to where they can talk. But talk doesn’t really happen.

Natalie has been getting sick and so she is off to the doctor with Liam by her side. And the news the doctor gives shocks both herself and Liam. NOW what is she going to do?

I really enjoyed this book in the series and I am happily ready to read the next book.
This book is very enlightening into some deep mental issues many are faced with.

Well A.l. wood did it again. FIrst chance left me with one heck of a cliffhanger that i was screaming about. I was fortunate enough to not read it till this book was out when I read it so that I didn't have to wait long to find out what happens. The Journey with Ryan and Natalie continues with lots of twists and turns that keep you on edge and turning pages. or in my case yelling at the characters about using their brain. This is probably why I read this book in just two hours. I love how we got to see things from Liam and Layla's point of view to give us a more all round picture of what is happening. You get to see how much Layla is actually going through with what happened to her and Natalie when they were younger and also get to see Liam and Natalie also form a strong relationship.

I will say that even though I give this book a 5 star rating my only complaint was that I felt like the ending was rushed a little bit and I would have liked to see more detail into what actually took place during those months. but I still rated it 5 stars because I don't want that to discourage people from buying the book to read it because it is an amazing read. A.l. wood once again had you feeling all the emotions with the characters instead of just reading them as words. I can't wait for Liam's story. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone!

Okay. First i would say this series has quite an impressive plot! The author has really captured my attention through out this first book! There were interesting and unique scenarios that occurred during every chapter and the characters were enticing to read! I understood them well. However, my mood soured during the next book. It was too fast paced and completely rushed, i didn't understand what the story was about and where it was heading towards! Too many chapters were cut down and only summarised bits and pieces of information! The character swap was kind of frustrating and i had difficulty staying in touch with each persona. I felt somewhat trapped and confused at the same time, in the end i couldn't sympathise for the girl, i wasn't in tune with her thoughts, feelings and perspective of things. I wasn't there with her through out the whole story and her man wasn't there either, i was kind of confused to who she'll end up with and why she decided to sleep with the singer when he was such a jackass to her!

Overall, i really enjoyed this first book. However the second book escalated why to quickly for me to understand what was happening!xx

This is the conclusion of Ryan and Natalie's story. This book picks up right where book 1 left us. I was a little disappointed in this book. This is supposed up be Ryan and Natalie's story. I understand Liam and Layla having POV's in the beginning, but this story should have focused in Ryan and Natalie. They were together a total of 4 times during the whole book. The whole process of then getting back together was totally skipped over and I felt cheated. :(
I wanted to see them together as a couple, not just be told, "oh this is what happened". I was very dissatisfied with this portion of the book. I felt this was Natalie and Liam's story, not Natalie and Ryan's story. Ryan was ignored the majority of the book.
I hate giving reviews that are bad. I feel guilty. I enjoyed the book, I just REALLY wish it would have focused on the 2 MC's.

Sorry A.L... I am looking forward to Liam's book.

I really liked book one, but book two is a let down. The actual interaction and dialogue between the hero and heroine is minimal. There is no way that I can believe these two become a couple from what happens in this book.
Yes, I enjoyed how different this book was from the norm. I was expecting that this storyline was going to need a book 3. What I got was a unbelievable wrap up to the story, and no emotional connection between our hero and heroine. All the emotional problems of the heroine are just dismissed not resolved. The hero never holds her, talks to her about what triggered her suicide attempt. In fact, the emotional support and interaction is between her and Liam , not Ryan. I'm really upset. This author, took something that was different, fascinating ride and crashed and burned. Didn't anyone tell this author, that less than a week together on a concert bus, sex twice, doesn't make a believable love story.

I don't know, it was too rushed and vague. We really don't see any interaction between Nat and Ryan, yet it is supposed to be about them; their parts are just rushed through in the epilogue.
The grammar and wording was deplorable. Come on, even in English class you had to proof read before handing in to the teacher. Don't you think it should be proof read before putting up for sale?
Over all, it could have been a great book if it was a little longer with more description of the relationship that Ryan is trying to establish and a little less flowery words trying to make yourself sound witty.

OI Love Rock 'n Roll......

and I love Ryan and Natalie. This series was so nice but it was not easy to read. This because of the constant editing mistakes. I am a perfectionist when it comes to books and proper editing. I find spelling and grammar errors so very distracting. These two novels are full of them and I would like to strongly suggest the author have it proof read again. There are too many incomplete sentences that have no meaning. Also lacking are proper uses of contractions and multiples. Inserting an apostrophe here and there just doesn't help. But after and aside from all this I did love the story.

I had a hard time with book one but I wanted to see how the story ended so I got book two. This book wasn't much better. There is almost no interaction between Ryan and Natalie. These books could have been condensed into five chapters for as much time the two spent together. Furthermore, the relationship between Nat and Liam had too much page time but even these two seemed to have miraculous bond by never really speaking to each other. I don't get it.

All I can say is that the story just felt too rushed for me. Both books actually did, but I think its good in a way cause it's not dragged all out with their feelings.

This time round more POV's are from Layla and Liam. He's (Liam) such a sexy sweetheart and his chemistry with Natalie felt more alive than with Ryan. You will get to feel a little angst and some fun and surprising moments. Yet, the story was an okay read for me.

Disappointing

Disappointing

I really enjoyed the first book. so reading this and having everything be so sped through really upset me... too many details about unimportant things. chapters skipping weeks and months without detail of what happened, huge disappointment.

Ok so this book had some great potential but the plot ended up being rushed I felt like just when things should have started developing you read that that it's months later and you lack the chance of experiencing a connection or the relationship development :\

Same issue I had with the first book, it’s too short to really explore the characters and fully flesh out the plot line.

It’s so unrealistic to me that Natalie and Liam are “so close” after literally knowing each other for maybe three days. And that the band would just cancel their tour for a girl that they barely know. I actually like the plot line, but it should have been put in a timeline that’s more realistic. Why is Ryan sooo infatuated with a girl he sung on stage with once and literally knows nothing about?

It’s also annoying to me that Natalie and Ryan are not in a relationship during the story EVER, and then all of a sudden in the last chapter they’re together and on the brink of marriage. Talk about whiplash.

I really wish Natalie’s connection with Liam was explored a little bit too.

Oh, and there were several grammar/plot mistakes in the book — where are the editors?

Last Chance picks up right where First Chance ended. The first thing I can say about this book is that it is much better in regards to the editing than the first. It does still have some issues, but it is noticeably better. Again, this is a novella length book so there is a lot of story compacted into not a whole lot of pages. Ms. Wood does a great job of keeping the storyline fast and engaging, without leaving the reader behind.

Even by the end of the book I still find myself conflicted whether I am #TeamRyan or #TeamLiam. Ryan just seems so broken and Liam….sigh. Liam seems to be about the sweetest guy on the planet. I know I’m definitely looking for his book, which is the next in line to be released. He deserves his own happy ending.

I love the characters that Ms. Wood has created and her spin on the rock and roll romance. It’s certainly different than all the others, but for that part of me that likes having detail and information, I just wish the book was a bit longer and we got a longer glimpse into the life that Ryan and Natalie have in front of them. Hopefully we’ll get to see how things play out in subsequent volumes, I know I’m definitely interested!

Last Chance was a definite four star read. Ms. Wood took characters that I grew fond of in the first book and made me fall in love with them. I’m still not the biggest fan of Natalie, however I love Ryan and Liam, and the fact that they’re not your stereotypical rocker bad boys, it’s a nice change of pace!

With the first book ending in a cliff hanger, I was so happy to see the next book come out! Picking up right where First Chance left off.. .which was super sad and extremely emotional for me. This book is written in 4 point of views. Layla (Nat’s best friend), Liam (friend and band member), Ryan Steele, and of course Natalie Wright.

Natalie Wright’s story from the previous book was very sad up to the point of her meeting Ryan. You think right off that they are meant to be, then one wrong turn and all the anger and emotions come barreling out.

Liam point of view was more of a eye opener for me… He is a super sexy guy type of best friend that every girl needs. Layla is always there for Nat showing how loyal she is throughout the whole book, standing by her through even when they have their ups and down. This book gave me everything I needed from the roller coaster of emotions to the hot sex scenes. Ryan is still is my personal favorite because of his macho type attitude which always gets me hooked and addicted. I might change my mind depending on how Liam’s book turns out :)

Just like the first book in the series I found this a really quick read. It picks up where First Chance left off. I don’t want to post any spoilers but will just say everything isn’t smooth sailing for a good part of this book. I feel like this book focuses more of the relationship between Natalie, Liam and Layla then it does on Ryan and Natalie (though their story is continued in this book). In a way A.L Wood does herself a disservice, she makes Liam too likable. I feel like he is the one always there for Natalie (along with Layla) even though it is always described as friendship and nothing more. I feel like a expanding the length of the story may have helped her develop more of case for why Ryan really belongs with Natalie. I am looking forward to see what happens with Liam next.

In this book things begin to heat up, mess up again. It's more emotional and intriguing. There is a lot of regret, confusion, and anger as the characters start to open up.
Some of the words spoken are so harsh im amazed they were forgiven. You wonder if ryan actually cares about nat, def a love/hate thing going on.There is a lot of uncertainty, no one seems to say what they really want to, hiding behind a facade of lies and misunderstandings, oh and alcohol lol. The bonds of friendship are stretched, torn apart, mended and strengthened.Liam takes his role of protector seriously,he calls nat princess.ryan calls her minx, OMG hahah ryan dressing up *snort*, is..just.. well..you'll see lol And boy oh boy is he a mess under pressure.lmao.Ryan and Nat have had a very rocky start, but new beginnings have given them a chance. Love has set them straight

Great ending!

This was a great ending to Ryan and Natalie's story! The first book is First Chance. These 2 books are quick reads but tell a great story! I'm really easily entertained. As long as the story grasps my interest and makes me want to keep reading then the author has succeeded in her objective. Ryan and Natalie just endear themselves to you and draw you in. The ending was a little rushed, but I still loved the final ending! Next coming will be Liam's story. I'm excited for it. Still needs work with proofreading but didn't take away from my enjoyment of the story! Take a chance and read Ryan and Nat's story...First Chance and Last Chance!

Unfortunately, this book was not what I was expecting. I thought we'll read more of Natalie and Steele, but instead most part is written in Liam's or Layla's POV, although the book is still focused in their relationship.

There's a lot of dramatic and intense inner dialogues from the characters, but at some point I felt nothing really happened, and some of the things didn't feel realistic

There's actually not so many steamy or sexy scenes, but there's a HEA and that part I did like it!

I don't know where all the high reviews are coming from.

I don't mind some editing mistakes, but both books in this series were FULL of them!

Both books felt more of an outline for what could have been a longer book that would have been much better. I felt like the parts the author did give details on were pointless and the parts that I would have liked to read - like how they actually got together - were skipped over completely!

I think the idea of the story was great but the way it was presented was terrible.

I'm glad I did not pay for either book.

Omg! I was on the edge of my seat reading this book, just like first chance, i couldn't put it down. A.L writes with such emotion, and realness. I feel what layla feels, what liam feels, and especially what natalie feels. A.l uses raw emotion, and real feelings to connect to each and every reader. She left things unsaid, but told enough to make me want liams story like right now! Only 2 books in, and A>L is already sweeping readers off their feet. Amazing job!

Received this book as an ARC. It picks up right were we left off & I enjoyed the storyline. I started reading it as soon as it hit my email. Loved Natalie & Ryan and can't wait for Liam's story. The only thing I would have liked is a little more story line on how the HEA happened. I love the steamy details. All in all I would recommend this book & loved the story. I will also be ready to read more!

I wanted so much more

I really wanted so much more from Nat and Ryan's story. I feel like this book was about Nat and her relationships with Liam and Layla and only the last 5% really about building a relationship with Ryan. The ending happens so fast I felt like I had whiplash. Really a good start but I feel like there are way too many gaps and I have no idea how Ryan and Nat end up together.... There just was no real storyline for them....
