英国統治時代の香港に生まれる。中産階級の家庭に育ち、学校卒業後はスラッシャー(仕事や職種を複数持つ人)として生計を立てる。雨傘運動失敗ののち、汎民主派支持や「民主中國建設」の観念から脱却。2019年の「逃亡犯条例」改正反対運動では、抗議闘争者のために友人らと後方支援活動をおこなう。その後香港を離れ、海外に逃亡した勇武派への支援・協力を続けている。
