I threw an arm over my eyes and just breathed. Oddly enough, it wasn’t my near-death experience that had me so bothered. It was the confrontation with the blond guy and the odd conversation we’d had. He knew about the Otherworld. His words had proved as much. But was I reading too much into it? Was I secretly hoping he was Faelorehn? And if so, what good was it now? I was human. I knew that for a fact.

Robyn Dunbarre has a plan. It may not be the perfect plan, but it is a good one nonetheless. Two years out of high school, and at the start of her sophomore year in college, Robyn is working her way toward a business degree with the hopes of someday managing the Green Tea Leaf, a local café in the bustling town of San Luis Obispo. What Robyn hadn’t planned on, however, was getting caught up in the business of the Otherworld. When a young man from Eilé saves her from the unwanted attention of a local demonic gang, Robyn learns that there are some things in life that she has absolutely no control over.

Devlin O’Brolaigh is everything Robyn doesn’t need in her life right now. Tall, incredibly good-looking, and enigmatic, she is certain his presence will bring nothing but trouble. When the Otherworld continues to encroach upon her and the lives of her friends, however, Robyn soon realizes that she’ll have to ignore her sensible side and give in to her rebellious nature once again. Unless she can learn to trust Devlin, and work with him, she may become the next victim of the Morrigan’s continuing legacy. But in order to preserve her life, Robyn may very well have to risk her heart.

Since I finished reading Ghalien, I've been waiting for this book to come out for further stories about the otherworld. Who better to start a new series with then with Robin Dunbarre, one of Meghan's best friend from The Otherworld Series. It honestly broke my heart when Robin couldn't follow Meghan to Eile. She was so caught up in her Wiccan beliefs, she's probably the only friend of Meghan to fully enjoy the otherworld. But I also loved her as a character as well and didn't want to lose her. I squealed with delight when I heard this book was coming out.

Is reading The Otherworld Series mandatory for reading this book? No, Jenna Elizabeth Johnson gives enough background that I believe you could just jump into this book without reading the previous books. For those that have read the other books, this story gives more information about the Lorehnin, the half Faelorehn half Humans that we briefly encountered from Ghalien. Also if you wanted to know more about Devlin O'Brolaigh this book will be a treat for you.

The book starts off with Robin in her second year of college, working at a coffee/tea shop called Green Leaf Tea. She has a plan to get a business degree and eventually end up managing the coffee shop she is working at. Until she's attacked by a local demonic cult of the Morrigan and saved by the gorgeous Devlin O'Brolaigh. In this book she will have to decide what is important to her. Even though she knows she is human, can she help stop this cult before they wreck havoc in both worlds?

From The Otherworld Series I had known that Robin was adopted, but it really saddened me to see how her adopted family had mistreated her. In a way the attack on her was a little bit of a blessing because it brought Devlin into her life when she really needed an extra friend. I thought the only thing that was a little bit obvious from the book is who one of her parents might be. If you have read books from The Otherworld series, but it doesn't destroy the story knowing this.

As for Devlin O'Brolaigh, you learn so much about him in this book it hard not to like him as much as Cade from The Otherworld series. I knew he was incredibly brave and that he loved his brother dearly. But I didn't know he looked like a Norse God! *fans herself* After reading this book and learning more about his compassionate nature as well, it's really hard not to fall in love with him by the end of the book.

The Otherworld Series is probably my favorite book series currently and I can't wait to see what else is in store for Robin Dunbarre.

This book is well written, smooth flowing and easy to read. The author does a fantastic job of portraying the characters and their emotions. The imagery is so vivid you can visualize every scene.

Robyn was introduced in book 1 Farlorehn as one of Meghan's best friends. After high school they each went their own way. Megan is living in Eile and Robyn is stuck working at a cafe to help cover the cost of a community college. During the book she meets the blonde haired Lorehnin beauty that is Devlin O'Brolaigh. Her world is about to be turned upside down thanks to Mikeal and Moira.

I love the book and series and can't wait to see what comes next.

This book is out of this world. Robyn has a soft spot for the homeless people that live by the creek that runs by her house. Jerry is one the homeless people that Robyn has befriended. Jerry told Robyn about a group of kids that took the mama cat and the baby kittens. Robyn went to see what he was talking about and she found a group of people with black sweatshirts and hoods to cover up their faces. She was leaving to call the cops when she almost fell and brought attention to herself. One person from the group caught her. She recognized the tattoo, when she was in a pagan group called Earthbound they warned her about called Noctyrnum who like to perform sacrifices and is not a group to be messed with. Robyn went home after school and work to find Noctyrnum standing in the yard. They wanted to kidnap her. The kidnapping plan went wrong when someone came to her rescue. Robyn shouldn't be able to see what her rescuer is wearing but she is able to see. The Rescuer's name is Devlin ,he was wondering if Robyn is Eile? If you want to know what Eile is you will have to read the book.
Robyn works at the Green Tea Leaf which is an organic cafe, bookshop and gift shop. She was in a foster kid until a family decided to adopt her. At the age of 18 her parents packed her bags and told her that if she wasn't going to live by there rules then they can't support her any longer. She is pagan. She has long black hair with lavender highlights. She goes to school at Cuesta. She lives in San Luis Obispo. She is part of a pagan group called Earthbound, she hasn't gone to a meeting in months. Johnathon works at the Green Tea Leaf with Robyn. His mother is African American and his father is white. When they take trips to Africa his father really stands out. Wants to go out with Moira. Kelly works with Robyn and Johnathon at the Green Tea Leaf. Kelly goes to school at Cal Poly, she is a year behind Robyn in school. Her parents own a vineyard out in Edna Valley. Evan goes to school with Robyn. Quit going to Earthbound meetings because its not what he wanted, joined Noctyrnum. Devlin hunts Daormorrig. Has to return to Eile when he is hurt, protects Robyn from the Daormorrig. Very strong and attractive. Robyn and Devlin are attracted to each other. Moira works at Green Tea Leaf, her and her brother Mikael. Mikael owns Noctaine.
As I was reading this book I felt like I was a part of the story. It felt like I could feel the pain that the characters go through. I connected really well with Devlin and Robyn. When reading this book I felt sad in some parts and happy in others. Do Devlin and Robyn act on there attraction to each other?
I truly enjoyed this book. I was very sad to finish this book. I wish it could go on forever. This is my first book by Jenna Elizabeth Johnson and it wont be my last. Amazing author.

In my opinion another absolutely great novel! I can't get enough of the otherworld and the amazing people and creatures I have discovered there. It would be utterly amazing to actually have a place like this in our world, but alas that can never happen so I'll continue to read about it :).

This novel is different from the rest in this series, unlike the others that are told by either Meghan or Cade, this one is told through the eyes of Robyn Dunnbarr. Robyn is one of Meghans Friends from the mortal world. We remember back when Meghan informed her friends of her parentage and where she was truly from, Robyn was entranced and wanted to see and visit this unbelievable Otherworld, but only true people of this place could pass through.

We learn a lot about Robyn, her character and her past. She was an orphan at a very young age and was adopted by very religious people who were adamant about having Robyn as their child. Robyn was an odd child growing up and eventually her adoptive parents had second thoughts of her. When she graduated high school she was set out on her own, a decision that was sprung on her and not exactly her choice, but she was a strong girl and would do whatever it took to survive. She was attending college and had a quaint little apartment and job that she was happy with. She lives a mundane life, but is content until one night a homeless man whom she calls her friend sets into action a chain of events and choices that lead Robyn down a dangerous but true path to who she really is.

One night Robyn is attacked in front of her apartment by a group of people she knows whom belongs to a dangerous cult called the Nocturnum. They are about to do some serious harm when a enormously blonde man comes to her rescue, he has an otherworldly appearance and Robyn is immediately drawn to him.

His name is Devlin, he is of the otherworld and is there to track down a dangerous man when he spots his damsel in distress. All signs of his hunt keep leading him back to Robyn, she seems to be somehow unknowingly caught in the middle of the bad glamour devlin has been tracking. He noticed she is emitting and leaving traces of glamour, he has notched it up to be being strong mortal magic.

Together Robyn and Devlin try to end the chaos that a man and his sister have been causing,

Full of surprises and twists and turns makes for a great read!
After all this being said, there was only one problem I had....that fact that Robyn is who she is...it just seems too coincidental, but I still very much loved the story.

Once I got my hands on this book I could not put it down. The story is well written with wonderful characters, loads of imagination and enough to keep me interested that I just kept reading. Robyn Dunbarre was aware of the "Otherworld" because a couple of years ago her best friend Meghan Elam discovered that she a Faelorehn from Eile and was now living there. Eile is a place no human can ever enter. Robyn never imagined that she would become a victim of someone from Eile. When strange things start happening to Robyn she shows strength, courage and, at times, stupidity. Fortunately for Robyn, Devlin O’Brolaigh shows up to help her, even if she doesn't want his help. I must say, I fell in love with Devlin, hot, strong and sexy....what more could a girl ask for. Robyn knows she can't get involved with Devlin because she is not Faelorehn and when Devlin finishes his task he will have to return to Eile....but we all know how that goes! Robyn's relationship with her family made me very sad and angry at the same time. I love this book. I love the "Otherworld" series. I highly recommend this book...it could actually work as a stand alone story but it would be so much better if you read the entire series. Do yourself a favor, READ THE SERIES!!

ADVISORY: Read the Otherworld trilogy, by Author Jenna Elizabeth Johnson, before embarking on this insatiable adventure.

GENRE: Paranormal Romance

ADULT CONTENT: PG

RATING: 5 Stars

VERDICT: Addictive

A new Otherworld adventure has begun. Robyn's dreams of the Otherworld become nightmares as faelah, a deadly cult, and a Faelorehn, hell-bent on becoming invincible lands in her own backyard. Jumping at shadows, the strong-willed Robyn forms an alliance with an absurdly, handsome Devlin, a Lorehnin of the Otherworld.

As I relate to the characters, ride the emotional roller coaster with Robin, and fall in love with Devlin, I am enthralled. Reading it once is bliss. Reading it twice is enjoyable as I am now aware of the puzzle pieces leading to a surprise ending.

Well-developed plot. Smooth prose. Wonderful, descriptive visuals. Relatable, lovable characters. Realistic situations. Mad props to the imagination come to life. A must-read!!!

Really great book but I already expected that. Robyn is a funny girl and seeing things from her perspective makes things different from what we knew if her through Meghan.

Robyn has a unique taste and sense of fashion. She doesn't do things just to show off or to rebel against something, she is just different like that and I certainly can relate to it. She hides a lot of her true feelings behind her smart comments and sarcastic attitude. But in the end she is just a common girl trying to find her place in the world. Or that is what she always thought while hoping for sonething else.

I like how Robyn tries her best to look tough but she really cares for her friends and would try anything to help them.

I loved Devlin too. He was so mysterious and fierce. I like him just as much I liked Cade in Faelorehn.

Great book and now I'm really curious to discover more about Robyn and Devlin's future.

I have already bought Caelihn. I couldn't help it.

I was so excited when I won a signed paperback of this book! I have loved every book in the Otherworld series and this one is no exception! It was fun to read about how Robyn's story continued and hope there's more about Robyn and Devlin in future books. This story has adventure, suspense, twists and turns, and some romance that all keep you reading. Sitting on the edge of your seat waiting to find out what happens next and full of great characters! And for those who have read the other Otherworld books you get to learn a lot more about Robyn and Devlin. I had a hard time putting this book down and devoured it in two days. Although I would recommend reading the other Otherworld book first you probably could jump in with this book. I highly recommend this book (and all the Otherworld books) and can't wait to see what Jenna Elizabeth Johnson comes up with next!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

I was intrigued by the summary. I love magic and fantasy and that combined with a hot and enigmatic guy seemed like a winning combination.

It took awhile for me to get into this book. First I thought it had to do with the fact that this was the sixth book in the series (the fact I wish I had known before), but I realized it had more to do with the author spending more time describing what Robyn (the main character) was wearing and the type of make-up she had on - trying to portray her as a - watch out, I am a strong, cool Goth/Wicca chick.

Once there was more emphasis on the plot and I got to know the main character though her actions and not just through labels, the book got much better, and so did the chemistry between Robyn and Devlin. It turned into a page turner that compelled me to want to read the whole series.

Oh what a great book! At first I thought.. is this the same Robyn from the Otherworld Trilogy series, because if it is, she sure is acting the wimp in this novel..but wait, I had to see where the author was plotting..again you ARE in the drivers seat as Robyn!! Alone, no high school friends, her step family has kicked her to the curb she's taken a part-time job at a local tea shop to pay for her little apartment while going to college on a scholarship. She meets Handsome Devlin when he saves her from being attacked by satanic pagans..from the moment they meet, something special happens........What a mind blowing book..Wow, totaling breathtaking! Action packed, suspense, heartache and romance..What more can you ask?? MORE please!!!!

I love these books!

I absolutely love Jenna Elizabeth Johnson and her amazing world of Eile! These books bring me such joy, and as an avid reader, I find it so refreshing to have an author put a new spin on the beautiful and mysterious world of Celtic lore. I was SO excited when I discovered that Jenna had decided to write more of this amazing series that I devoured this wonderful book in just one day!! I would highly suggest reading the previous novels from the Otherworld series (especially Ghalien) because you get a wonderful backstory on Delvin & Enorah as well. This is a must read for all Otherworld fans! Well done Jenna and please keep writing we love your books!

Was so excited to read this book, assuming it was a continuation of the Otherworld Trilogy about Meghan and Cade. This story is actually about Meghans friend Robyn. I enjoyed getting to know her better as the main character in this book. And Devlin! I love the chemistry between the two. This story will obviously continue, (not soon enough!) I am just loving this author. In all the books I've read by her, the characters are beautifully written. Can't wait for more!

This is one of my new faves. I enjoyed this far more than than the first time I read Faelorehn. This was a great first book and I am so excited to continue it. Robyn has been a great main character, Devlin is wonderful and all the twists and turns we're very engaging. The only thing that really bothered me was how no one mentioned any of what was going on to Meghan...really? That seems afar too bizarre.

I have fallen for Jenna Johnson's Otherworld Novels. I love the characters, the world she has created and all of the Celtic Mythology. Reading Robin's story brought me back into Jenna's world and did not disappoint me. Hopefully there will be more and soon. I need to know what happens with Robin and Devlin, if they meet her mother and Meghan's reaction to Robin's new life.

Such a wonderful book, series!

I have greatly enjoyed the time Jenna took to continue developing this series, and its characters. I have bee thrilled by the highs and lows of each book.

About halfway through Lorehnin, I began to postulate on how it would end. I was not displeased. I am very much looking forward to the next book. :)

I loved Robyn's story. It was as unique and special as Meghan's. It included some of Meghan's life here and there but was its own separate story line where you didn't feel like you already knew what was going on (that has happened in other spin offs). She meets Devlin and I was instantly hooked.
