When Mari Baker moves in next door, Benjamin Rhodes knows she's the girl for him. Who cares if she's ten years older than he is. She's perfect.
When Mari Baker moves in next door, Eli Rhodes is captivated by her fiery spirit and brunette curls. Sure, she's nothing like the singles bar hook-ups he usually entertains, but someone like her could make a man change his ways.
When Mari Baker moves in next door, Joe Rhodes is unofficially engaged to Beth Havland, so why is this little snippet of a woman getting under his skin? Yeah, she's sweet and smart and shares his faith, but he and Beth have made plans. At least they've talked about making plans.
When Mari Baker moves to Colorado Springs, she's looking for a fresh start--a new path. The first path she walks, however, is up the steps of the big Victorian house next door after she slips on the ice and throws her purse down the storm drain before she even has a chance to open the door of her new rental. The Rhodes brothers become her rescuing angels that night, and the next path that forms is the one between their house and hers.

I listened to this on audible, read by the author. The story is sweet but not sappy or simple. The characters are diverse and distinct and we hop around through at least four points of view in telling the story, but each head hop is clearly identified, so I didn't mind. For some, that could be a distraction.
I enjoyed how the author brought Mari, Ben, Eli and Joe through so many twists and turns. I was intrigued how the Jewish traditions were used. I was disappointed in the fact that curse words were used throughout the story. I normally will delete the book and not finish it when I come across bad words. I try to keep my mind and eyes clear of bad words. The book was interesting enough that I completed it.
This book was intriguing. There was love, friendship, family and finding ones self. And really liked the religious part. Learned a lot of things. If you want a book that's a good read and you don't want to put it down, then this one is a must read for you.
When Mari Baker moves in next door, Benjamin Rhodes knows she's the girl for him. Who cares if she's ten years older than he is. She's perfect. Frankly, I was bored.
Moving to Colorado Springs, is a new start for Mari, again. This time. It seems fate is going to play a bigger role. Nice romance with an easy faith vein.
Jodi Bowersox has crafted a warm romance in a cold climate.
Mari moves into a Colorado rental house, ready to start classes at the local college. She’ll be adding yet another degree, but still can’t find a job. Her next door neighbors, three handsome brothers, keep coming to her rescue for various household emergencies. She likes them all. Can she find love with one of them?
Bowersox weaves faith, family and romance in a seamless tapestry of satisfying reading. I loved it.
I picked up this book because it was inaccurately categorized on Amazon as Contemporary Christian Romance. It is not that. If it had been, I'm sure I would've enjoyed it more.
I was taken aback when one of the characters who is supposed to be super spiritual used the Lord's name not only in vain, but as a curse word. For that reason alone, I don't plan to read any other books by this author. The characters were Jewish, and though that is fine, it wasn't what I was looking for, and I was disappointed.
I liked the story but....I was disappointed by some of the language in the book. It wasn't excessive but my main offense was the use of GD. The characters faith were Jewish and I found their customs interesting. I would definitely not classify this as an inspirational. The author touches on dealing with the pressures of society and struggles to remain true to their faith. The story was cute and an easy read.

funny, likeable characters, romance and a great story. this is not just about the girl next door but maybe more about the effect that she has on the three brothers she moves next to
A good tale of a woman and three brothers who work together and independently on their relationships and their faith. I really appreciated the thought each character put into their eventual decisions while considering the needs, wants and feelings of the others.
This is the first book I have read by this author. It has a good message and loveable characters. However, I would advise there is some language and suggestive content, it is not too bad though. I would recommend it for young adults or older.
Love love love Joe and his brothers for different reasons, much like Mari. If you're looking for a page turner filled with masculine charm - look no further.
This was an engaging and clean romance. Great job!!
I have enjoyed all of the books by this author but this is my favorite. The characters are well developed and the story is engaging. I highly recommend this book.
Sweet story with genuine characters. Lovable but accident-prone, Mari struggles with moral dilemmas that give the story weight without turning it into a sermon. Overall, a fun, fast read!
