It’s been a couple months since the Tri-Guild Alliance that Drake led to save hundreds of lives from perishing during the harsh Ash Season. Now his skills are in higher demand than ever before, and he works for the highest bidder, even if the mission is so trivial it makes him squirm.

Only hours into what he expects to be the most boring mission of his life, he regains consciousness tied upside down to a tree, missing a prized possession, and staring eye to eye with a mutant. At this point he’s thinking boring might not be so bad after all.

Mission: Fire Bound follows Mission: Ash Run in the series and is a 23k word novella.
