To make Helen stronger, Seiichi and his group decided to delve into a dungeon. However, at the same time, Destra, known as "Suredeath" and a "God Apostle" of the Demon God Cult, who possesses the deadliest abilities capable of killing everything, is also challenging the same dungeon. Meanwhile, Helen's hometown is threatened by an ominous force even as they undertake their dungeon quest. This is the tenth installment of the popular isekai fantasy series, characterized by its blend of tension and comic relief!
The series continues its streak of silliness. I hope to find the last two volumes since I will pay for them. Maybe I should check Amazon instead of Barnes & Noble? I roughly know what happens next because I found a machine-translated version of the series to its conclusion. However, it would be nice to support the author.
Seiichi fights an opponent known as "Suredeath," the moniker he obtained from his special skill. After that insurmountable hurdle, Seiichi teleports to a mysterious forest where you can't use magic. He meets the Empress of the country bathing in the river and discusses plot points with a talking tree. After he saves everyone, we find that Helen Rose is part of the Royal Family from that country.
The story is rife with humor but low on tension. The reader knows Seiichi will find a way to conquer all obstacles in his path.
I enjoyed the book. Thanks for reading my review, and see you next time.
