The only man who can save me is the man who vowed to destroy me...
5 minutes. That's all I have to convince the one man who can help me. He has to agree to my insane plan. Marriage. To me, Ivy Hawthorne. Or as he likes to call me, Poison Ivy.
8 years ago, I did something bad, or at the very least, I didn't say anything. And because of this, my family almost ruined Damien Sinclair. But now he's wealthy and the only man powerful enough to help me. And if I want to gain my inheritance, save my bakery, And save several people's jobs and livelihood, I will have to marry The Devil of Wall Street himself. My plan is outlandish and probably foolish, but it can work. As long as he doesn't take my child, our child, away from me.
Publisher's The Marriage Agreement is Ivy & Damien's story. It is a contract marriage, age-gap, enemies to lovers, billionaire romance with a guaranteed happy-ever-after. It is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone
I enjoyed reading this book. Ivy & Damien's story was kind of toxic but the push and pull between them added a lot of tension which I liked. Ivy was no push over and could handle Damien and his jabs well. However, there were a lot of editing errors that I could find and it kind of spoiled my reading experience a bit. Still, I liked the plot and some of the side characters were interesting. So, I think I'll definitely continue this series and I'm particularly interested in Nolan's book. I'm giving this 3.75 stars.
This book has all the possibilities of a good enemies to lovers story with defined characters and storyline. However, the editing is lacking which distracts from the continuity.
