Narrated across multiple timelines, the book begins with a Asura warrior, Indrajeet, waking up on his spaceship, after 10,000 years and his sight firmly locked on the planet Kritika. The planet holds the key to galactic peace. In the other timeline, in the present, Kanishka, a single mother, on earth, discovers her unusual origins which are somehow tied to greater cause. How are these two cosmic characters connected and what is Kanishka’s destiny?
The story nicely blends action, mystery, ancient mythology with sci-fi to create an create an exciting adventure. The first chapter itself reveals the grand scale and the vivid imagination of the author. The multiple timelines and narrative arcs take time to get used to but the excellent narration keeps you hooked at all times. At the heart of the story is the age old “Good vs Evil” conflict and the story deftly weaves a wide array of characters in the story.
The characters are well crafted from Indrajeet to Kanishka to Nandini and Ranveer. The world building is excellent and the writing is excellent. The story maintains a dark, intense tone throughout the story with several twists and turns along the way. The story continues in the sequel which will be exciting to read.

I loved the world building the author have done. He took enough time but without much lag for the initial world building of this series, which will be a strong foundation for the upcoming books. Being a lover of mythology, I enjoyed the Krithika portions more than the scenes of Earth. The main highlight is that he blended both these portions in the first half, which will make the readers feeling less lag.
Also, the author's writing style is engrossing with apt usage of vocabulary.
I will highly recommend this book to all the readers and fans of mythological sci-fi. Eagerly waiting for the second part.

Without any doubt, I wholeheartedly loved reading this book.
