One fateful night, I get a text message that’s meant for my boss. The sender? Jeremy Lincoln, a doctor turned billionaire.
Our unexpected exchange quickly turns into a friendship, and then it starts to become something more the moment he accidentally sends me a picture of himself.
He’s undeniably attractive, but it’s not just his chiseled jaw, and mysterious dark eyes that draw me in. It’s the moment he confides in me, sharing a personal secret, that makes it impossible not to connect on a deeper level.
What could a handsome, powerful, wealthy man possibly see in me? I’m just a 9-5 accountant.
But when we finally meet in person, the connection that has blossomed through our messages burst into a passionate inferno in the real world.
However, there’s a downfall to this charismatic billionaire–his relentless devotion to work nearly cost us everything, including our lives.
Billion Dollar Mistake is a dual-point-of-view, standalone, billionaire opposites-attract romance filled with tension, banter, spice, and a happily ever after.
Sharon Woods writes spicy, feel-good contemporary romance novels. Based in Melbourne, Australia, with her husband and two children. She drinks a lot of coffee, loves to workout, explore new places, and has an unhealthy addiction to reality TV.
I wasn’t half way through this book when i decided to go to Sharon’s page and click through more books to add to my TBR list. Her writing is so dang good!!
I connected instantly with Nova and really liked how she was such a bubbly and positive FMC! She had a lot of stress on her shoulders but did everything she could to support her family. I had the best time reading Jeremy’s POV, the thoughts he had about Bentley had me laughing out loud 😂 He definitely is a brooding MMC but had a silly side just for Nova. They were the missing piece each other needed to be whole and I loved the emotional connection they had.
I 100 percent re read the scene when they played poker.. LORDY it was 🔥🔥🔥🔥

So, Jeremy (MMC) mistakenly gets Nova's (MFC) cellphone instead of a work partner. They start texting by chance and their relationship evolves from there. I had a hard time with their interactions because it RAN over the line of cute/cringy, they exchange selfies just 1 min after their first text conversation, like NO???, it's a stranger miss, there is no way you can know its someone hot, even if this is fiction.
Then we have the age gap, which can be an amazing trope if used properly. Unfortunately, Nova seemed too young and childish at times.
My final review is, this was just okay. I am not sure if I will be continuing the series but I will add to my TBR nevertheless to see if it sparks my mood.

I quite enjoyed this book as it was fast paced and also followed a nice plot line. Something I liked fairly well were the characters …and the text conversations since they always were super wholesome!!!!! You know, sometimes you just need a nice little billionaire romance. 🎀 I don’t even have much to say other than to recommend it to you guys in case you’re craving a swoon-worthy love story. 😩🤷♀️

Thanks to Love Notes PR for the e - arc of this book! Nova Lee, a new accountant at Spencer Health, finds herself connected with Jeremy Lincoln due to a mix-up by her boss.
From their first text exchange, Nova and Jeremy's story had me hooked. Their witty banter and heartfelt conversations were utterly charming. Nova's intelligence and resilience paired perfectly with Jeremy's thoughtful and sweet nature.
The chemistry between them was undeniable, and their journey from strangers to something much more was beautifully portrayed. This book is a delightful blend of humor, romance, and emotional depth, making it a must-read for anyone who believes in the magic of serendipitous love. A thoroughly enjoyable read! If you love to read billionaire romance, wrong number turned right romance - then this book is definitely for you!
I loooooved this book. This is such a heartwarming & fun read. I was always excited to come back to read this one. I wasn’t sure exactly what it would be about (I like to go in without reading blurbs), but I’m glad I did. Everything was new, and I didn’t exactly know where anything was going. It definitely had some surprises along the way. This wasn’t a conventional romance book. There was a genuine story line (along with open-door spice), with beautiful thoughtful lines, conversations, and themes, throughout. I don’t always save quotes from novels, but I saved quite a few from this one. One of my favorites is: “”He's rich and can have anyone he wants. I don't get why a man like him would want me. I have nothing to offer," I say. She sits down beside me, running her hands up my arms. "Nova, I will not let you talk about yourself this way. Just because a guy has money doesn't mean he's better than you." "I know but—" She shakes her head. "No buts. You're one of the kindest, most generous people I've ever met. I can see exactly why he would fall for someone like you.””.
Honestly, this book touched on so many deep topics that I myself related to. I found myself very much relating to Nova’s character. I am her, she is me, lol. I’m going through the exact situation right now (minus the man). It’s so difficult, and seeing how she handled things (not always with Jeremy’s money, but handling things herself), was giving me confidence. I truly admire how she continued to be independent and strong-willed, though she had a rich boyfriend. In billionaire romances, it usually is all about a guy saving a girl, and they dance off into the sunset together (more or less). What I loved here is that- yes - Jeremy had money, but he listened to Nova (most of the time), and did let her accomplish as many things as she could, by herself.
He didn’t save her, rather, completed her, and vice-versa.
This will be my Roman Empire for a while now. Great read!!!

Billion Dollar Mistake by Sharon Woods is the first book in the Lincoln Brothers Series and this is Nova and Jeremy‘s story.
Nova is the best kind of protagonist, and she is just the sweetest. She works hard as an accountant, and she holds back to be able to support her parents who are in a tough place after her father was diagnosed with cancer.
Jeremy is a doctor turned CEO and he is super successful. But not everyone likes his workaholic tendencies, and he can never keep a relationship. When he is negotiating a new deal, he gets the wrong phone number and starts texting with that person and it’s no other than Nova. I absolutely love when stories include some type of messaging, and it was done so well in this story and the two can get to know each other without being biased.
You can already feel their chemistry in their messages, and it only intensified when they met in real life. Jeremy is so sweet and wants to win her over with some dates and there were so many amazing scenes like in a restaurant or boxing. I also loved how he called her star. These two come from two different worlds but they make it work through their love and talking to each other. Their age gap isn’t really a forbidden factor, but it rather made Jeremy more determined, and the spice was so good. There was also a scene towards the end that nearly gave me a heart attack and was a wake-up call to Jeremy. The character development was just beautiful, and I loved how they support each other and grow stronger together. Another amazing aspect was the way their families were included, and I felt even more connected to this book.
I’m already beyond excited to see more of the Lincoln brother‘s and I highly recommend this book.
Trigger Warnings include: loved one with cancer, a dangerous situation resulting in bodily harm
Hello new book boyfriend! Jeremy Lincoln is terrible for my heart, but I love him too much to quit him! He drips in confidence and power. He’s not cocky, but he is incredibly proud. Just one of the very many things that I loved about him! Don’t get me started on the amount of swooning I did over his selflessness. Jeremy is all the things I need in my billionaire boyfriends. Sweet, thoughtful, possessive, a dirty mouth. And an absolute goner for the woman he loves, even before he loves her. The moment Nova comes into his life, she’s instantly important to him. She brings light into his dull life. Making him feel carefree and important in a much more fulfilling way. He respected her so much. (Again with the swooning!) Nova became such a strong, confident woman in his embrace. They found comfort and safety in each other. They had adorable, flirty banter right off the bat. There was a playfulness to them, something they both need in their life. I loved their instant and easy attraction/bond. It felt genuine, and it was so easy to love them and root for them. I knew 20% in that I was giving this five stars. And the ending?! I’m a mess!!! How dare they?! But it only made me love them more! I’m definitely looking forward to spending more time with Lincoln’s family!

I think I fell in love with Jeremy Lincoln 🤭. He was so perfect and I wish I had someone to spoil me the way he spoils Nova. (I’m jealous) I ate this book so much but tell me why they fell in love after like 2 texts and one 5 minute video chat?? It’s honestly not realistic but neither is a man buying you everything you ever wanted after mentioning it in a passing conversation when you first met 😞. It was such a quick read an got me out of the slump fourth wing put me in so it was PERFECT !! 😋😊🤭
I’m so excited for Chelsea and Evans book they are already SO CUTE and they have only met one or two times 😻😻
Nova and Jeremy are the best honestly and I loved the banter they had and the communication was top tier. Nova is so incredibly smart and just so fun to connect to. The chemistry between these two was so prominent and it was so nice to see their connection grow and them realize how much they liked each other.
Just why? This is the worst thing that I’ve ever had to read. I was seriously punishing myself trying to finish it. It had no plot AND both the mc and the fc had no personality whatsoever.
4.5 Stars Thanks to Love Notes PR for an arc of this book in exchange for my review!
What happens when you get a text from a wrong number and you cant help but keep talking? You Fall in love. Nova Lee is the new accountant in Spencer Health and her boss accidentally give her no to his client Jeremy Lincoln.
This book had me hooked from the moment Nova and Jeremy's accidental text chain began! 💬 It was such an utterly charming and unique meet-cute that immediately drew me into their blossoming connection.
From their very first banter-filled exchange, the chemistry betweenNova and Jeremy practically crackled off the pages. You could feel the sparks flying with every witty retort and flirtatious quip they traded. Yet underneath the effervescent banter flowed a profound undertow of shared grief and hard-won resilience that gave their bond an achingly tender depth.
Nova herself is such a vibrantly-rendered heroine - smart, bubbly, and an utter delight. But she's also been tempered by adversity, making her warmth and strength even more admirable. Meanwhile, Jeremy is that ultra-swoon-worthy alpha hero - successful, commanding in the boardroom, yet disarmingly sweet and attentive when it comes to cherishing Nova.
From buying her favorite lipstick, tying her hair while she naps in his lap, his gestures are so thoughtfully romantic, you can't help but melt! 🥰But don't worry, this possessive billionaires also packing serious heat, with a wicked dirty mouth to make you combust. That dynamic of sugary sweet adoration contrasted with filthy bedroom talk? Yes please! 🔥
What made this book such a standout for me was how their relationship evolved beyond the typical push-pull dynamic of many age-gap romances. Instead, it centered more on Nova and Jeremy gradually opening themselves up and figuring out their profound bond together through thick and thin. The journey was so beautifully rendered and utterly swoon-worthy!
My only nit-pick was wishing Jeremy had rushed to Nova's side a tad sooner after his work crisis. But that's just a testament to how invested I was in this dream couple! From their flirty banter to their intense emotional connection, every page had me desperately rooting for them.
With its delectable balance of sugary sweet and pulse-scorching heat, Sharon Woods has delivered an absolute winner! Nova and Jeremy's love story hooked me from that errant text and never let go. I'm already jonesing for the next installment from Woods' sinfully delightful and immensely satisfying pen!
Sitting here waiting for Dr Jeremy Lincoln to accidentally send me a text cause my incompetent boss gave him my number instead of his. (😔 IRL My own boss never did anything good for me but give me stress & a headache.)
I looooveeeedddddd this book so much. 🥳 It was everything a Billionaire romance should be for me and reignited my luv for the trope and reminded me why I fell in love with contemporary romance books. Definitely one of my favorite reads this year. I cant remember the last time I read a book with a huge grin on my face from start to finish
I ❤️ the MMC and FMC Jeremy & Nova their characters complimented each other well and there was no unnecessary drama to their relationship everything that happens fitted well into the story.
Nova was so likeable I really liked how she was with herself , her closeness to her family and her friends. Her relationship with Jeremy from their initial texting and how she stood her grounds regarding her work and his priorities.
Dr Jeremy Lincoln is now added to my list of ultimate BBF 🙌🏽 he was an Alpha His closeness with his family esp Grams 😍🥹. I liked that he was rich and was unapologetic about it and the things he does for Nova and how he is with her 😍. He wasn’t perfect but he redeemed himself. He grew up privileged and worked hard so was used to doing things a certain way as it was so natural to him, the way he gifted her was sweet but OMG a whole building seriously 😭
His views of Bentley thou 😂 he should be thanking him as his carelessness brought him something good.
You’ll like this book if you like contemporary billionaire romance with a strong & sexy FMC and a swoon worthy MMC.

Fave Quotes “I always get what I want.” “Do I look like I need to copy a woman to impress her?” he retorts, his response carrying a hint of challenge. “I've got you. I promise nothing will happen to you while I'm with you,” he reassures me with words I can feel. I’m addicted to you. My beautiful star.” “You're not a mess, Nova.” , “I just didn’t like seeing his hands on you.” , “I don't want anyone else touching you.”

“Billion Dollar Mistake” is one of those romances that expertly combines the thrills of high-stakes business with the deep, heartfelt challenges of family and personal growth. In this story we meet Jeremy Lincoln, a former doctor turned billionaire businessman, and Nova Lee, an accountant whose unexpected connection through a mistaken text message leads to a life-changing relationship.
Jeremy, aiming to secure a significant deal, accidentally texts Nova Lee instead of the company's owner. Nova, a hardworking and perceptive accountant, engages in a series of witty and heartfelt text exchanges with Jeremy, igniting a connection that he wants to explore. Nova and Jeremy's bond deepens as they discover shared personal struggles: both are caring for family members battling cancer. For Jeremy, it's his Grams, and for Nova, it's her father.
When Jeremy and Nova finally meet in person, the chemistry is undeniable, and their connection is electric. Sparks fly, and their relationship takes on a new, exhilarating dimension. Jeremy, a dedicated workaholic, finds himself drawn to Nova's strength and determination. She is fiercely independent, striving to build her career and support her family on her own terms.
The tension between Jeremy's workaholic nature and his growing affection for Nova reaches a critical point when his distraction with work nearly results in a dangerous incident. This near-tragedy serves as a wake-up call for Jeremy, forcing him to confront his feelings and priorities. It's in this moment of crisis that he realizes, perhaps too late, that he is deeply in love with Nova.
"Billion Dollar Mistake" is not your basic romance; it is a story about finding balance, understanding one's priorities, and the transformative power of love and connection. Sometimes, the most profound connections come from the most unexpected places. Woods has written a must-read for anyone who enjoys a romance that is as thought-provoking as it is heartwarming. I can’t wait for more from Woods and the Lincoln family!

Many thanks to Sharon Wood and Love note PR for providing me the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review! This is my first book by Sharon that I’ve read and I wasn't disappointed! Her writing is exceptional and the characters are chef’s kiss! Jeremy is my first book boyfriend 😍, he is hard working, thoughtful, giving, has the biggest heart and will do anything for the people in his life. Nova is admirable, strong, a beautiful soul and selfless. If you’re looking for a romance book with some banter, funny moments with a side of spice, you will love this book!
3.5 stars ⭐️ Thanks to Love notes PR for this ARC book
It all starts when a text is send to the wrong person. Jeremy Lincoln thinks he is talking to his soon to be business partner but he finds himself talking to Nova Lee, a new employee at the firm of this business partner.
From the get go their attraction is undeniable, and you can see them grow attached to one another. Their funny banter and witty remarks really makes you feel their connection, but between all of this is a deep understanding if the other since they both have a sick loved one. You can truly feel they needed one another to help lighten the weight of their respective grief.
Nova is a sweet, kind and thoughtful girl. She is really close to her parents and loves them very deeply. Her bound with her parents really warmed my heart. You can see she is really smart and determined, even with everything that happens to her with her dad's cancer, which I thinks only makes her more likable.
Jeremy is a workaholic but he also is swoon-worthy and attentive. You can feel is love and all the efforts he puts in making Nova happy, even if sometimes he falls short. I absolutely adored the relationship he has with his grandmother, which brought another layer to the character.
For me this book was such a feel good book, the romance and love between the two characters was so sweet. Even though it felt sometimes a little like insta-love - which is something I don't normally enjoy- it didn't bother me in this book because the characters really open up and get to know each other and fight for each other throughout the book.
The end really got me on the edge of my seat and honestly I shed a few tears. I also really appreciated that this book doesn't have a third act breakup.
This book was adorable and i recommend it to anyone who wants a cute, sweet romance with spice.
Accidentally stumbling into your forever love story. Nova Lee is a wonderful vivacious loving lady. She finished college and has just landed a much-needed accounting job at Spencer Medical. Yay! Her boss Bentley Spencer is a bit over the top and handsy, but the job is interesting and pays well, and Bentley’s office is far from Her’s. Nova is very close to her loving mom and dad even more so since her dad's cancer diagnosis. This job will cover Nova’s meager expenses and help pay her parents’ expenses. Soon after taking her new job, Nova receives a text from a customer looking for his promised contract. It seems her boss gave Nova’s number, by mistake, to a new customer, Jeremy (Remy) Lincoln the CEO of Lincoln Eye Hospital Group. These two share some light bantering back and forth for hours. It’s very comical and Remy is taken aback by the casual inquisitive banter from Nova. People just don’t talk to him that way. But he and Nova seem to have a real connection. I love how their friendship grows into a dating relationship, and then into much more because they are so right for each other. Both Nova and Remy have awesome close families that weave in and out of this story and I am sure will continue in the next Lincoln Family stories. There are some tense moments toward the end of the story that bring all the families closer together and take Remy and Nova to the next level. They’ll have a forever love. This is a beautiful warm story filled with great characters. Linda
ARC provided by the author and I happily give my honest opinion.
Jeremy lives to work until one day a wrong number changes everything.
The wrong number brings a breath of fresh air in to his life that he did not know he needed.
Nova lives to work too, but for a different reason. The money she makes is used to help her parents through her father’s cancer diagnosis.
Through their chats they learn they have something in common and it brings them closer together.
They seem like an unlikely couple. Workaholic billionaire and a younger woman just starting out..
I loved how she made him lighter and see there was more to life than work and that he took care of her while she was busy looking after everyone else.
I liked that they were both close to their families.
I also loved how when things fell apart it made Jeremy especially see what was important in life. I think most of us have had one of those moments in our lives and they really can make a difference.
Jeremy (I preferred Remy) was determined, singleminded, a little blind to life outside of work and surprisingly sweet. Nova (loved the name) was strong, caring and smart and I loved seeing her get what she deserved.
This was a lovely read with interesting characters and a nice level of heat.
Thank you to Love Notes PR and Sharon Woods for the e-ARC.
If you take this book as what it is, a billionaire romance, I think you’ll enjoy it. Billionaire romances are very hit or miss I feel but I actually really did like Remy. He was protective but not in a red flag way and seemed to really care about his family. The book was a lot of spice but I did like getting peaks at each of the main characters family dynamics. I also liked Nova’s two best friends and how they were there to support her. Nova having her own career and being so passionate about it was very enjoyable. I’m glad she never worked for him or anything because when it’s billionaires with a power dynamic that always gets a bit wishy washy. I was also very glad there was no real third act breakup, that’s always frustrating. It’s also exciting to know the other brothers will have books, I love a series.
Some issues for me were some continuity things. Remy seemed to “forget” he was a doctor sometimes like when he was surprised that you’re recommended to get 8 hours of sleep or when her knuckles were torn up from boxing and he said he’d have someone look at them, like he could just look at them? It was also kind of hard to tell who was talking someone with the way the dialogue was written but I also read an e-ARC so that easily could’ve been something that got fixed. Also not a fan of the “star” nickname.
If you have sensitivities with cancer or car accidents I’d be wary of this book.

I devoured this book in a matter of hours!! Billion Dollar Mistake” by Sharon Woods is a captivating love story that seamlessly blends romance, drama, and hope. The characters, particularly the wealthy male lead and the hardworking female protagonist, are richly developed and instantly relatable. Their accidental connection, sparked by a mistaken message, evolves into a touching bond as they share their personal struggles with family illness. Woods skillfully navigates themes of love, loss, and resilience, keeping readers engrossed until the very last page. With a perfect balance of spice, angst, and heartwarming moments, “Billion Dollar Mistake” is a delightful read that you won’t be able to put down.
Thank you @sharonwoodsauthor and @lovenotes.pr for the ARC.
If you live for the love of billionaire romance with all the right amount of angst, spice and (drumrolls) grovelling, go get a copy rn!
I was absolutely captivated by the story since the beginning. Something different, light and fun to read. I really enjoyed the way the characters were getting to know each other.
I adored the big little things Jeremy did for Nova. How clear it was for him to accept that she was the one for him. Their story was heartwarming and beautiful. How their relationship developed was perfect.
The element of surprise, I did not see that one coming. I was stunned and completely heartbroken, but the outcome was better than expected. It was a wake up call for him and I loved what happened after that.
I can’t explain how much joy this book brought to my life. Has been a pleasure reading this story. ❤️
PS: And that ladies and gentlemen, it’s why I don’t settle. For man’s like Jeremy, this man went above and beyond for this woman and I would never accept any less for myself. Plus, Nova is my favorite name.❤️❤️
Favorite quotes: “Oh, I love being on the floor, specifically on my knees”.
“Why did he… Fuck, why was he touching you?”.
“Why do we wait until something happens before we realize we should have said something, but we didn’t?”.
Omg this books was so heart warming and sexy as hell. I instantly fell madly in love with Jeremy the sweetest workaholic, charming CEO.
Nova had no plans of falling in love, more focused on makeing memories with her parents and making enough to help them by. Desperate to get a job she was yet to realise how much her world would change.
With a new job, led to her fated meeting with the dashing stud Jeremy. Who was given her number by mistake, by her new boss. Love at first text? Yep, they fell into easy banter and suddenly began to crave eachother.
Jeremy never had much luck in relationships due to his time and love for his job, but soon as he bagan to fall and crave Nova that all changed. Things getting a little too heated as their desires grew more intense. A life changing moment changes him forever and she becomes the most important thing in his life.
There is nothing he would not do to keep her forever. Including changing his jobs so he has more time for her.
The motherly figures in this book was perfect. And having the homely feel to the story made it that more amazing.
Jeremy and Nova’s romance was a whirlwind I would say, they got together so fast. But I think this book had the perfect amount of romance, plot and drama. There’s also a lot of emotional parts and I thought the author navigated these tough topics well!
Jeremy and Nova had amazing chemistry and I loved their banter especially their conversations through texting. Both Jeremy and Nova had great families and I loved seeing how they interacted with them. Jeremy was so protective and caring to Nova.
Nova was a great FMC. I love how ambitious she was and driven, she would do anything for her family and friends.
I can’t wait to read the next book about Evan and Chelsea!!

Thank you to the author and Love Notes PR for the arc!
This book was a fun, quick read. I enjoyed the dynamic between Nova and Jeremy. The relationship moved extremely quickly, almost too quickly to seem at all realistic, but who actually expects a realistic story when reading romance, particularly when a billionaire is involved. The main reason this book did not get a higher rating from me is because there were some continuity issues that pulled me out of the story and hurt my brain. Nova and Jeremy go on their first real date the day after their first dinner together and Jeremy treats her to a training session with a top boxing instructor which causes damage to her hands that her coworkers mention the next time they see her. But after that it's like that date never happened! The coworkers ask Nova about boxing another time she mentions it at work and it was like they had no idea she boxed, when they already had a whole conversation about it beforehand. Then the next date Jeremy asks Nova on is suddenly their 'first date'. It was incredibly confusing. There were also several times it was hard to tell who was talking because of the paragraph breaks and no speech tag so it made the conversations hard to follow. Aside from those things, which very well could be an issue that the ARC copy had and was corrected by release date, the plot flowed fairly well and I finished the book fairly quickly. It was a nice, easy read for an afternoon off. I would definitely recommend this book for those that want a simple read, and will be looking forward to the next book in the Lincoln Series.

Billion Dollar Mistake ( The Lincoln’s Book 1 ) Oh My Gosh this was such a fun read . I’ve been on quite the dark romance binge lately and was desperately needing a change . Billion Dollar Mistake was exactly what I was looking for . A Swoony alpha hero , a heroine you cannot stop yourself from falling in love with , unexpected text ménage send fo the wrong person that changes everything for nova and Jeremey , the off the charts chemistry, the humor , the witty banter , the angst galore , the heartbreaking and heartfelt moments, the love , the passion, the family and friendships. And what do you have ? Well that’s easy . One of the most beautifully written and emotionally charged love stories you’ll ever read . I cam guarantee you’ll smile, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry and you’ll definitely be rooting so freaking hard from start to ending
y'all i frickin love a billionaire romance, especially when it's done this. well.
it all started with a text to the wrong number and it became this amazing little love story between two people who didn't know they needed each other, until they had each other.
this book was so fun and steamy and had me in all the feels. it was so much more than just a romance book, with both main characters going through emotionally stressful family situations. this book had me happy and sad all at the same time and i loved it so much for that! although this book has some emotionally heavy topics, it was written in such a way where i didn't find it hard to read.
i adored this book, i loved the writing and the storyline. Sharon's books are so incredibly easy to read and i am so happy i was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy of this one
I think my new favorite trope is texting wrong numbers haha. Even from the beginning of them talking, the witty and flirty banter was just so cute! Especially when Nova gave Jeremy a nickname, so cute! It did feel a little fast to me on the romance side, so definitely not a slow burn. Also, from the first moment Bentley Spencer was introduced, that man gave me the ick.
I loved that Nova was also so relatable, with her father's health and not only carrying that grief on her shoulders but the responsibilities of feeling like she needed to handle everything.
Spicy Rating 🌶 out of 5
Just a little bit of spice to balance out the plot. I love when it fits in perfectly. I don't like to give too much away sometimes with my spicy ratings lol
I can't wait until I get to read the next one in the Lincoln Series!
Thank you Love Notes PR for an eARC in exchange for my review!
Total Rating: 4.75/5 Billion Dollar Mistake follows Remy, a CEO who accidentally receives Nova's number, who is currently a temp accountant for another company. Remy catches himself wanting to talk to Nova and give her time he's never invested in anyone else.
I love that both characters were very close to their families and that helped them bond and realize life is short and to make the most of it. Nova was a very strong and caring woman and brought out the best in Remy.
This book would have gotten the full 5 stars but .25 were redacted due to the
I am VERY excited and truly cannot wait until the next book to follow Evan and Chelsea!
This was an interesting book, honestly enjoyed it. I mean I finished it in four days but I’m not sure it was really my speed. It was fast paced and hot and heavy in the first real interaction between the mcs. I like tension, I like build up, and I just didn’t feel that here.
There were grand gestures and declarations of love which is a must have in any romance. With this being a millionaire romance I expected it to be a little gaudy and over the top but it wasn’t. I feel like those scenes were crafted really well.
The character development was sort of lacking. I didn’t feel like I knew the characters as well as I wanted to-especially outside of each other.
Over all the book was good, and I would recommend but just make sure you know what you’re picking up.
The story really get interesting and gets hooked up from the very first conversation. A 9-5 accountant getting a text message that's meant for her boss. The sender? Jeremy Lincoln a doctor turned billionaire. Only after one conversation he gets intrested in her and the friendship takes place which soon turned into something interesting and after meeting in person the love starts to bloom between them.
However, there's a downfall to this charismatic billionaire–his relentless devotion to work nearly cost us everything, including our lives.
If you love the above tropes then go read this book ASAP it's live and is on kindle unlimited!!
