Thirteen years is a long time to live with a heartache you can’t explain…
HunterIt has been so long that I’ve almost forgotten it. I’m too focused on fighting a losing battle to protect my pack. Dr. Emma Fawnsbeck is my last hope, even if she is a human. The surprise is on me when I discover she is my fated mate. She’s too smart, too independent, too…tempting. Now, instead of focusing on the safety and security of my pack, I’m too busy imagining how her lips taste, or what my mark would look like on her neck. But once she gets threatened, I have a decision to make. Protect my pack or protect my mate.EmmaThe clinic director job in Solaris Village is exactly the new kind of new beginning I wanted. Too bad it comes with the strings of dealing with Hunter White. The small-town sheriff may be attractive, but I’m done with letting controlling men tell me what to do no matter how sexy they are. But when the truth about my new job is revealed, I can’t turn my back on my new community. Or the man who steals my breath. So why does it feel like now that I know the truth, I’m in danger… of losing more than my heart?

~Claiming Orion is the first book in a romantic suspense urban fantasy series, Solaris Village. The pain of the past is but a blip in of the future that lies ahead. The Solaris Village Series is a collection of werewolf shifter romance novels. While this book ends with a HEA for the main characters and has no major cliffhangers, there are some overarching storylines that may not be resolved at the conclusion of this book because they run throughout the series.

ARC READER REVIEWS:

OMG this book doesn't disappoint! I couldn't put this book down and i finished it in a day. Please, i want more of them already and the ending is illegal. But i have a feeling the story will continue in the next book and I can't wait for it.

Emma and Hunter's story is so well written, and i hope the book is longer and i found myself kept thinking of it now that i finished it.

I love how Hunter was so patient towards her and willing to wait for her until she's ready. My stomach just fluttered from thinking of it oh my lord. Where can i find this man?

I'm looking forward to any books from this author soon. I love her writing. It's AH-MAZING!

I was fortunate to get an ARC of this book! And I absolutely loved it! The storyline was great the characters were easy to bond with and there was fated mates, spice and touch her and die vibes, there was some good humour in there as well between the characters! I’m excited to read about the other characters in their books! The only thing I will say is I do wish some areas of the book were in more detail! But a really good easy read!

Thank you! KM Bell

ARC reader review:

I loved this book. The love that Hunter felt for Emma soothed her broken soul. After leaving a terrible relationship of someone who was constantly putting her down and making her feel that she didn't matter, Emma fled for what she hoped was a much better life. She quickly learned that wolf shifters are real and used her brilliance to save the pack that has become her new family. I really did enjoy this book, I wish it had more though. I am not typically someone who wants books to be drug out, but, in this case I wish there were more fine details. I loved the love that Emma and Hunter had and I really just wanted more of it. I cannot wait to read more of this series. This is a must read!

I received an ARC of this book, & the book did not disappoint. A love story between a wolf & an human.
I love Hunter & Emma's story. It's filled with suspense, new friendship, fated mates. I can't hardly wait for the next installment in Solaris Village & to find out more about the characters stories in the other books in the series. The only bad thing about this book was that I wish it was longer.

This book touched on everything readers love about wolf shifters. Fated mates…dominate alpha (or beta) males…touch her and die vibes…and sizzling chemistry that will melt every page.

Emma is longing for a fresh start away from an ex who will stop at nothing to remind Emma who she belongs to. Solaris provides this haven and opportunity for Emma to shine…along with secrets just waiting to be discovered. Hunter knows he’s made the right call in hiring Emma. He just didn’t realize that by bringing her to Solaris would reveal just how connected they truly are.

This debut book for Kelsy is just the start for this incredible author. The imagery and words that flow through each page are effortlessly. An incredible start to a series that introduces you to a world you won’t want to leave.

ARC REVIEW
I want to start this review by thanking K. M. Bell for sending me a copy of this book. I would 100% recommend this book to anyone who loves a good fated mates story. The characters were extremely well-written and easy to get attached to, and I couldn't help but root for them throughout the whole book. Hunter was just a great character, ready to wait for Emma as long as needed for her. However, the ending did leave some questions unanswered, so hopefully, their story will be continued in the next book. The only reason I took a star off my rating is because I don't think I loved the book enough to read it a second time.

What a quick read this was! I DEVOURED it!

Dont we all have a soft spot for obsessed handsome wolf shifters? Yup, Hunter White is absolutely it, the best part is that hes super gentle normally but if anyone he loves is in danger he WILL turn feral😏 HELL YES!

What i love most about this book is that the FMC is the hero in this story and she literally saves lives for a living! TURN ON😍
although this book isnt too long, there was obvious character development throughout!

What to expect;
🐺Wolf shifter/Sheriff x Doctor
🐺Small Town
❤️Mates
🐺Deadly Disease
💀Crazy Ex

Gimme gimme book 2 ❤️

ARC Reader Review:

This book was absolutely adorable! Very fast paced and enjoyable. Our FMC, Emma, is a doctor running from her deranged ex-BF and hoping to start over in Solaris Village. Our MMC, Hunter, is the town Sheriff, looking to help figure out the mysterious disappearances of shifters in their community and others. Together they hope to figure out what’s happening. 👀

The MOUTH on this man is 🥵🥵!

The cliff hanger is criminal!! 😳

Can’t wait for book two!

Thank you K.M. Bell for opportunity to read it early!

This if my first Omegaverse and I can honestly say I am now addicted! I cannot wait to read more of the Solaria Village series. If you’re a sucker for hurt/comfort, “mine” and fated mates tropes then this is the book for you.

It’s a beautiful story about a village in Alaska that is home to a pack of wolf shifters who are mysteriously disappearing after falling ill. When the traditional ways are no longer working the Pack Beta calls in a human doctor to see if she can help them. Little did he know she would be curing more than just their sickness with her arrival!

Honestly worst book I’ve read this year thus far. Grammar mistakes everywhere and besides that the plot was not there. Everything was so fast paced that the author gave no room for any character development or a climax in the book and everything else you can think of. People on booktok LIED!!! After page 139 (specifically) only because I couldn’t take it anymore and this book was just not enjoyable, I just skimmed to the end and forced myself to finish it because I was already 60% into the book and refused to put it down.

The cliff hanger for the epilogue! Give me book #2, can’t wait!

Hunter, the protector, in a sweet and charming way! Satisfied that dominate, but sweet role really well! His patients through out the book is the best part.

Emma, has the brains and the looks! She’s the best hero the town could have asked for! The FMC hero with a little bit of “what me”! What a great read!

So many emotions from this book, and how well written it was!

This book was fast paced and really pleasant to read! I loved the way the two characters connected and how patient Hunter was with our FMC, Emma. She was the true hero of the story and I loved that she saved her “pack.” I am looking forward to reading book two and everything else this author writes.

This was such a great book! I loved this whole ride and was so happy with the suspense that was thrown in there. Emma and Hunter are a beautiful couple. I just knew though that it was gonna end on a damn cliffhanger! But what a cliffhanger it was! “Hold her, claim her, keep her - Hunters wolf”

This book was honestly terrible. It has great potential, but the overall quality of the writing ruins it. Not only the that, but there’s very little detail. You’ll be reading, and suddenly we skip days or weeks of timeline. It’s unfortunate.

2.5 ⭐️ 1.5 🌶️. It was a good story but the timeline felt rushed. I would have loved for this to be a bigger book and to have more detail and time for characters to develop. It felt like the author wrote specific scenes and then threw those together for a book without connecting them very well. Unfortunately, I probably won’t be continuing the series.

'Claiming Orion' is just the first book in this series and I'm here for every single second! Each chapter had me hooked and I couldn't put it down. Shifters, spice, claiming, secrets, mates.. what else do you need?! Just kidding. 😆
I feel like the level of spice is low but have hope for it to pick up in the coming books in series. I love the characters and can't wait to see them grow!

My rating:

I really, really wanted to love this book. Unfortunately, I struggled with it. I never had any problems with the actual story other than ending. To me, the ending felt rushed and I wanted to know more.

I had some issues with the formatting of this book. At one point we were in the middle of a chapter and there was a time jump that was not made clear. There was nothing to show the time jump happened. It took me multiple times of rereading the page to finally come to the conclusion that a time jump happened. I noticed this a few separate times.

Overall, the parts that bothered bothered me enough to the point it took away from the whole book resulting in the 3 stars given. As of right now, I do not plan on reading the second book.

3.75 Stars!

This was my first wolf shifter book and I really enjoyed it! This book is extremely bingeable, short and quick. I read it in one sitting. I enjoyed the characters and plotline, and I think I'd defintiely be into reading more wolf shifter books! The FMC is a new doctor who finds herself with a job offer for a clinic in a small town (little does she know the entire town in a pack of wolf shifters). There's a mysterious disease plagueing the MMC's pack, and he is looking for a doctor to help them solve the mystery.

The pacing of this book is extremely fast, almost a little too fast. It did end up feeling like an insta-love deal a little bit which wasn't my favorite, and because of how fast paced it was, I felt like the characters didn't have a ton of depth (Therefore my star rating). BUT, for a quick, fun interesting read under 300 pages, this was perfect!

Super cutesy fated mates book, which I’m always a sucker for! Hunter and Emma were adorable characters and the plot had the perfect amount of mystery to keep me entertained throughout. I do wish there was a little more drama/insight into Emma’s thought process when Hunter tells her about shifters and mates, but definitely worth the read! The epilogue cliffhanger makes me wish the second book was always out 😱

Thanks for the ARC!!

There’s so much to dissect in this book. Two of the things that make me really excited for the next book I can’t say without spoiling it. But I can’t wait to see where this story goes in book two!

ARC REVIEW - The characters in this book were so easy to connect with from the first chapter. Emma and Hunter were very fun to read and, it was an easy read that keeps you interested. It’s exciting to follow along and learn more about them as well as characters that are in future books. I wish some of the parts along the way had a little more detail with depth and was a bit longer. Otherwise, I’m looking forward to the next book in this series!
