Okay so this was completely different than the other books. This one was more I want to say calmer before the storm. There was some action fighting in there but not as much as you see in all the other books. You do get to see a side of both Adriana and Tristan that makes you like them more. Also you see a lot of the back end stuff that you didn't see before and all you heard of was all the betrayals. Honest with I liked it until that ending because I was like what? Now I can't wait for the next book to see what happens!

And this series just keeps getting better as Tristan and Adriana struggle with their relationship and keeping their selves and their unborn babies safe in a world of organized crime. Where power takes priority as both sides battle for control. Can they do it? Or will it become to much? Will their love survive as they fight to stay alive and keep their family and legacy safe.?

The intrigue and deception is all around them with the Mafia in one side,their twisted and complex relationship in the other.

I swear this just gets better! This is definitely a fast paced suspenseful read with unpredictable moments/plot twists. This again follows Tristan and Adriana as they navigate their own relationship and try to protect their babies in the crime world. There's tension, suspense and more a must read!

This book is more focused on the plot and I love that. The story finally gets rythm and the rythm is good. I want to know more about Keiran, Liam and Carmen as well
