A return to Xibalba has unexpected consequences

Tyler is still infected with the worms and they are giving him premonitions of bad things coming to Xibalba. Meanwhile Diego finds out more about the disappearance of his mother and sets out to find her or at least learn more about what ultimately happened to her...
Someone is spying on the team...why and who do they work for?

This book is an entertaining and fun read but is lacking the peril of the first book (perhaps due to the been there already done that aspect of it). Nevertheless, the events do lead to more questions than answers (though we do find out the mum's fate and who is spying on them) and I look forward to the next installment to see what happens next.

fascinating

I’m going straight to the next installment. I love the plot now and the characters. I’ve read other books by Mr Rey and enjoyed them.
