Perfection! This has easily become one of my favorite K.C. Mills urban series. It was so freaking bomb and she was all the way in her bag with this series. I hated to reach the end because it was time to say goodbye to these well developed characters. Everything flowed, the story, the love, the drama. I really hope we get a novella update on them or something in the future lol. Great Read!

OMG.....OMG.....I don't know who I love more... Mission, Navarro, Holt or Haze. KC your pen stroke is fierce. First of all this series has been out for a couple of months but I couldn't get into until all three books were in place. I knew I was going to love it. I kept checking and checking and checking...so when I got that notification...it was on. Read all 3 books back to back. Haze was everything. I love how once he was with Shae he didn't cheat. So many stories don't promote faithfulness and I'm sorry but that's not love. I can take all the hood all day but give me some loyalty between a man and his woman and I'm happy!!! The supporting characters made the story. I thought that perhaps She's ex was gonna pop up but oh well. Still phenomenal!!!!

Well.... conflicted but still good!!!
So this finale was..well.. I am a tad conflicted but it was still good so.....
I honestly did not understand why have a third book after reading this finale but as long and as detailed MS. Mills made it, I guess if it wasn’t split, then that 2nd book was going to be way too long.
Now where was I conflicted? Several issues popped up: 1) why is Haze still hard and mad with his pops? 2) how easily did Shae acknowledge her dad and sister, with no resistance? 3) this story started out with Shae and Haze but ended up being so divided that Shae and Haze ended up being an after party, not cool! 4) why couldn’t it be where Haze got a house with both of their names, then a car for Shae, then plan a wedding and all, yet it reads as if Shae is just dependent on him, not a good look? 5) whatever happened with Shae and have her own business? At least we know what Dey wanted but never knew what Shae had in mind as well as Haze and Shy! 6) I know Haze is the one who took Shae virginity but not once did they spoke about birth control, so we must assume she is on one and yet there she is pregnant before anything else, how is that? 7) Why have Rich on a wannabe daddy when he could have easily took care of Casey and Cori without doing all that?
8) if Shy is running, why not give a little bit more explanation as to who her ex is, specially after Kaz had run this check on her, and if trouble will get to their door steps or not?
Shae and haze were the epitome and the example that helped all of them to abide by it. Not only was Haze the man, the king of their kingdom, but he was also their boss and he had to set the example for them. Shae made up a great queen to him. She just has so many issues with daddy and mommy syndrome but since she didn’t have too much, something had to give. Now I just want to know what did she wanted to own and find out how good she is in her thing.
Candice and Rich were probably the most erased couple out there because since Kaz got a shorty so late in the book. He has to have his story heard first (lol). But seriously, Rich was strong in the first 2 books, but this go around he was almost non existent. Now what does Candice do or where does she work at?
Shy and Kaz, the latest addition was just weird or better yet, not needed so much so that they ended up having the most engagement with more chapters to them and more action that the ones that were there before. That was so uncalled for and not really appreciated by me.
Now Mathias was the man and I was hoping that half of his investment had Haze’s name on them because no matter what he seems to be the head of the family which in default makes Haze the next in line before Delano, sooo he is a fine daddy it seems. Vivie was getting on my nerves a little bit and didn’t deserve the few mentioned throughout the story. Bleek and Alexis as well. Mama Bee didn’t need to go out like that. Loved how Mesh ended up being and specially finally how Casey had to have a reality check. Now Swift and Dey was another couple that we could have done without and the couple pages they got in this story.

Love In The Air!!!
While Nook gets busted the real culprit is Rosie and Kaz Is right there to take of the real business. Haze is getting closer to Matias in a respectable way and his mom Vic is found much better. Kaz met Shy and really feeling her. Soon as he pops back up in town, she’s first. Shy is nervous but keeping it honest is the way to be. She has no idea of the power her new guy comes from. Haze is slowly settling into his new role, him and Rich are doing big things! Casey still trying to clown on rich and Candice. It he shuts it down. Mesh tries to blackmail Rich but it backfires. Shae shuts it down with her, my girl Dena and Swift are doing great and when Faith arrives! Life is good and the ladies are chillin with their men and these brothers are solid with their family and their teams. The.next step is waiting for everyone and Kaz is first, Rich has set him and Candace in motion And with Shaes new announcement Haze is on his way to making her an honest woman, maybe while in Jamaica?

I'm being very generous giving it 5 stars and I'm well aware. Book 3 definitely wasn't what I expected at all. But it was still a good read. We didn't see much of Haze building a relationship with his dad. But we got to meet his cousin Kaz, who I agree was more interesting. I didn't realise Haze was so laid back and nonchalant. I knew Case would be an issue but not a major issue. I thought Rich would slip up and mess with both women so that was a pleasant surprise.
The ending was abrupt. And the epilogue felt abrupt too lol I haven't read much of K.C Mills catalogue so not sure if she's overused these storylines already? Because it simply just ended... lol
We didn't get to see Shae develop a relationship with her sister and somehow she got closer to her dad over one dinner? dunno that scene was a little confusing. I mean, overall I was entertained. It was like a palette cleanser for me.

Once again KC Mills has taken me on an enjoyable ride! I love me some Haze and Rich then when you add Kaz craziness into the mix just made it more special. I'm glad Haze and his dad became close and that his mom got her life together. Rich should've thrown Casey disrespectful ass out for a few days because she was over the top with the disrespect. Great series
This was such a great series. I can not understate how much I enjoyed how much Haze grew and bossed up. With all that Haze inherited through his family he made sure he brought his day ones with him. I loved Haze and Shae’s relationship. I’m glad that Rich and Candice got their act together. Katz was the perfect third to their trio and I’m glad they allowed him in with open arms.

This was a great ending to a great series. This crew been through so much. I cried when grandma died like she was my grandma. I'm glad Haze and the crew got their happy ending. Even Haze mama got a man. Casey was pissing me off do bad like I can't stand a women who one can't move on two act like a child and three is all about drama. Sad she would rather live off a man than get out there and show her daughter how to be a women and handle her business

I was bout ready to slap Casey with her clingy self. Move on girl!! Rich wasn't playing with her; Candice either. She got her stuff together real quick. Would love to see more on Kaz crazy self. I loved it!!

Absolutely Absolutely Read
This was a great ending to this series. Kaz finally found someone to settle down with. Each couple was genuinely happy and had no drama. Matias definitely still had a lot of love for Vivie and he really wanted to be with her. I thought we would have gotten to see more about everyone's future, but maybe later. Great read.

This had become one of my favorite series from KC. I fell in love with these characters and don’t want to say goodbye lol. The characters were well developed. Throughout the 3 books the growth the main characters displayed was great. There was enough love and drama to keep the story flowing. I hope we get character updates in the future maybe like a Christmas novella lol

I'm sad that the grandma passed away! Haze and LaShae are still a great couple! I'm glad Haze is getting to know his father and finally accepting the perks of being a Castillo! I’m smiling ass this books ends , although I wish these characters come back I’m satisfied with the ending . HaE was a tough one nut Shae’s energy was something he couldn’t go up against. Shae has him going All out of his norm, and i loved ever but of the journey. Anyway dope story you should read.

Though it took me a minute to finally get this series, read I am so glad that I finally did it. All three books were 🔥🔥🔥. Narrator did a great job. Love Midnite Michael. Would love to have found out what the sex of the baby was and hear about the wedding but it’s all good. I’m so glad everyone got a happy ending. Great job. ❤️❤️❤️💯

Great ending! Loved how they all grew up and found their perfect matches! Kaz was a fave, its the smile for me 😍. I lived how they took care of Dubs family, true loyalty! I was rooting for Vivie and Matias though lol.
