I LOVE this book! Marilyn Burns is a great asset to the math education community. I taught this unit to a group of homeschool children a few years ago, and I loved everything about it. It is a comprehensive unit about place value that uses literature, 0-99 charts, money, lessons, activities, games, etc. It is a fun way for teachers/parents to present and children to learn. Most of the activities work best with a group, so it's not a good resource for one-on-one. I wish more math curriculum was at this level of quality and engagement. I'm looking for some good middle school and high school math curriculum. . .
