I read the Advanced Reader Copy and I loved it! A group of adventurous friends have a fabulously fun romp through the galaxy fighting bad guys, visiting queer bars, making friends and trying to prevent a galactic disaster! This book has excitement, positive and diverse representation and ends on a nail biting cliff hanger. I can't wait to read the next in the series!

This is a well written and fun romantic scifi featuring a group of friends on a mission in space. Among them the main characters are a couple made by a human and an android - a "pleasure" android who actually fell in love with his partner :) A fun and entertaining space adventure with a side of cuteness.

A Galactic Odyssey of Love and Intrigue.

Adam Andrews Johnson's 'The Hyperspace Enigma' crafts a mesmerizing journey through a galaxy teeming with imagination and intrigue. Set in the vast expanse of space, this science fiction odyssey transcends boundaries with its bold portrayal of a gay reverse-harem dynamic. The evolution of the pleasure android, 5NTRØM, into a being capable of love sets the stage for a captivating narrative filled with unexpected twists and turns.

As Phentrom and his partner Lyoth navigate their burgeoning relationship aboard the starship 'The Ulaa-Lah,' tensions among the crew escalate, adding layers of complexity to the unfolding drama. Against the backdrop of a rebel uprising and relentless space attacks, the duo's journey takes them to a city populated by clones and adult entertainment, offering a glimpse into a diverse and vibrant universe.

The discovery of a wormhole and the revelation of a secret prison base inject further adrenaline into the storyline, exposing sinister experiments involving hyperspace and innocent children. With the inclusion of witches and a flamboyant ensemble of drag queens, Adam's narrative transcends conventional boundaries, inviting readers to immerse themselves in a world where imagination knows no limits.

Adam's masterful storytelling ability, effortlessly weaving together disparate elements into a cohesive and gripping narrative.
I felt like I wasn't just reading this saga, I was an active participant, forming connections with the characters and experiencing the highs and lows of their journey just as I would with my other friends.

In summary, 'The Hyperspace Enigma' is a testament to Adam's creativity and narrative prowess, offering readers an exhilarating ride through a universe where love, friendship and adventure converge in the most unexpected of ways.

Very creative author. I loved the names and quirky puns throughout the book. There’s lots of action and space stuff. It felt kinda Han Solo-esque in parts. My only criticism is that the characters could have used a little more emotional development. I know the prevailing theory in the writing world is to ‘show, don’t tell’, but I like a little telling and the occasional adjective/adverb. But otherwise a fun read. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Wild and fun ride! The Hyperspace Enigma reads like the novelization of a quirky, intergalactic roleplaying game - I could really see the dialogue and story beats playing out on a tabletop setting.

Borderlands-esque humor and worldbuilding, punctuated by sudden scenes of action and violence!
