Then God gave him a woman, who Adam eventually named, Eve. Everything was fine until one day Eve met the Serpent, who introduced himself as Lucifer, and that's when everything fell apart. Lucifer yearned to have Eve for himself. One way to get her was to offer her the forbidden fruit.
