Get ready to rock with the Murderous Crows in this electrifying box set featuring all five books in the series! Follow the band members as they navigate love, loss, and the challenges of life in the spotlight.
In Coda, in the wake of tragedy, a rock frontman and the sister of his late drummer must confront their shared pain and the spark between them. The story continues with Reprise, where a sizzling reunion between a bass player and a drummer ignites old flames, but the rockstar lifestyle threatens to extinguish their shot at love.
Overture takes center stage next, as a rebellious rockstar and a fiery program director clash and ignite while navigating fame, betrayal, and the transformative power of music. In Waltz, sparks fly when a rockstar returns home for his sister's wedding, but can his budding romance with her introverted best friend survive the challenges of fame and distance?
Finally, Sustain brings the series to a stunning conclusion. A workaholic band manager and a reluctant ex-rocker find love amidst the chaos of a winter music festival, but secrets threaten to silence their hearts.
From sold-out shows to heart-stopping romance, the Rhapsody series is a wild ride through the world of rock 'n' roll. Each book is a standalone story, but together they create an unforgettable saga of love, music, and the unbreakable bonds of friendship. Don't miss your chance to experience the magic of Murderous Crows!
Amy Booker is a full-time author and former musician now living her passion of writing complex contemporary romances that immerse readers into the realities—both beautiful and gritty—of life on stage and behind the scenes. Most feature rockstars, while some venture into the glitz of Vegas.
With over a dozen novels under her belt, Amy draws from her own experience to pen authentic plots and multidimensional characters. Never one to shy away from tough topics, her books tackle real situations with emotional depth.
When she's not crafting her next book, you can find Amy embarking on thrilling travels, getting lost in audiobooks, catching Arsenal matches, or tuning into the Critical Role D&D show. She shares her home with rescue pup Gunner and has an adult son with special needs who fills her days with both challenges and immense love.
"Good just isn't good enough when it comes to love."
This box set includes all five books in the Rhapsody Rock Star series, or as I call it, the Murderous Crows series. This series is a spin-off of Amy's Near Miss series (aka, Indigo Kings series). I'm not going to summarize the books, the blurb does that well enough. And I'm not going to review each book, either. I have written reviews for every book in the series and if you are interested you can go read them.
I want to say a bit about the series in general. I loved the Indigo Kings books and was very excited when I learned she was writing about the Crows. They had made an appearance in the IK series and I was really looking forward to reading their stories. Jake, whose story begins the series in Coda, was a fun-loving typical rockstar in Almost, and I expected his book would reflect this. I was totally unexpected for the emotional shock that began a heartbreaking series even more emotional than the previous one.
I fell head over heels for Jake the minute he woke up in the hospital and he's still, hands down, my favorite character. I almost hated the other band members for the way they treated him, especially Cooper. I actually didn't believe Amy would be able to redeem him enough for me to care if he ever found love or happiness.
These books will tear you apart and make you cry. When I looked back at all my reviews I noticed I kept repeating that in each one. I think every review includes a warning to have a box of tissue. I love every one of them and think you will, too.
