Lash and Naomi have been through so much and we never even knew the whole story. We got glimpses of how it all started in the first two books but now we get to see the whole story. In 1400 BC we see the first time the lovers of the series met from Raphael and Rebeca and Uriel and Rachel and of course we solve the mystery surrounding Naomi, Lash, and Jeremy and how both brothers fell for the same woman and what caused their tension. We also see how everything went down with Lucifer and his fall.

Told from various view points we see how this story began for everyone that we've fallen in love with during the first two books. We see how each person became who they are and how their feelings shaped their decisions in going to earth or being with the one they love. You see selfishness and selflessness and what roles it played in shaping everything that heppened. I loved getting a look at the past and seeing more of this story play out. Great read.

I have just finish reading this book. I got an ARC for do a review on it. And I have to say that… OMG! I’ve been waiting for this book since a finished book 2 of this series.

So, if must of you read this series and especially book 2, you know that the ending was so… what should I say to be the right word?! It ends like a TV show. When you wanted to know more… BOOM, here comes the ending. And you have to wait so long for it, that it kills you. But, anyway, I thing this waiting has is worth.

So this last book of the Broken Angel’s series resume the action left of book 2. I’m not going to say the ending of the book 2 because I will give spoilers, and I have doing that.

Basically, if didn’t read this series, it is about angels. Maybe you will thing like Becca Fitzpatrick’s book but no. This one are even better. Truest me.

This last book it was my favorite. From the start, when I find out that Lash and Naomi have meet before, many centuries ago, I was so impatient to read about it. And it was more fun knew I find that the hole book 3 it is about that. Not just a chapter. Brilliant idea L.G. Castillo. I don’t think that I’ve read in some else something like that.

I was so in love from chapter 2 when this hole new world of angels and the huge decisions are made. I was so please to discover that sweet and trouble love between Lash and Naomi. And I’m glad that Naomi was still this fighting and loving girl that I’ve known from the fist book.

I love so much mystery and everything that are angels about. Even that Lucifer it is the bad one, I still love him. I’m in love with this character.

The hole book, the love, fight, betrayal, happiness, they are so right in place in this book. The action goes so smooth, so right that you don’t know when you reach the 50 pages already. You so get lost in this book. And that makes a great book.

I’m loving the series because every book it is better then the other one. Keeps getting better. So officially, L.G. Castillo with is series Broken Angel has a special place in my heart. Hope in your to. If not, then means you haven’t read it yet.

P.S.: And did you see the cover? OMG they are so awesome. And that it is a bonus to the series. READ IT!

This book was soooo good!!! I love this series so much. Would it be too much to hope that there will be a fourth book or a new series about Jeremy??? I love Jeremy so much I'm happy that Naomi and Lash are together because they love each other, but I think Jeremy deserves someone to love and have that person love him back equally. I love how this book talked about their past, I always wondered what happened so long ago. It's nice that the mystery of the missing past was filled in and we know what really happened. My life has now been complete :)!!! I loved how in this book not only did it talk about Naomi's and Lash's love, but it talked about how Rebecca and Raphael met and fell and love and the struggle that Rachel went through with being in love with Uriel and not have that love returned for so long, and when Uriel finally realized he did love Rachel it was too late (dun, dun, DUN) or so they thought. This book was really enjoyable to read. I had a fun time reading this whole series.

Many emotions from the first meeting Naomi and Lash .
An angel who failed in his mission, and years later was placed face to face with the repercussions of his past deeds. The person now that he was supposed to protect known him for a long time.

Naomi and Lash had known many centuries before and were fated to stay together, despite the fate insist on making them separate.
To better understand everything that happened in past and how they could be together in future, they had the chance to meet and fix the situation, it was necessary that visit the past .

A family reunion, Raphael, Rebecca, Jeremiel, Uriel, Rachel, Naomi and Lash, come to understand that stronger that time - and the will of Lucifer - their love would win.

Lash knew his real father, his connection with Jeremiel and how he and Naomi met for the first time.
The violence that had to witness, disobeyed orders by their superiors, the unsuccessful death, their memory erased. All the ingredients that made this trilogy as one of the most significant in the world of fantastic literature.

After all the confusion in modern times experienced by Naomi, her cousin Chuey and grandmother; until she met Lash and see their loved ones go through situations of deprivation; she was taken from them and go on to live as a celestial being; falling in love with an angel and find the real estate war that happened in her city was something bigger than politics; discover she was betrothed to someone other than who she loved , Lash and Naomi can now understand the background where it all began.

The story then goes back in time to the Roman era, when heavenly creatures roamed the earth, without being something so strange.
The birth of Lash, his encounter with the woman who would become the love of his life for eternity; the lies; punishments; everything is brought up and explained in detail.
Scenes that often reminded me some parts of the Bible.

The pace of the story is a bit slower than the previous ones, because the historical time in which it occurs.
The characters show themselves naked in their souls , explaining their sins.
Positive point : all the loose bonds of history are put in their places.
Negative point : I know we're talking about angels, seraphim and cherubim, beings that live for thousands years, but as a human, I felt bad when I read the way Raphael treated Lash in the past. All explained, all is forgiven, but it broke my heart. At the same time, in the end, after all have their HEA, I felt might have something more to the main couple. A feeling like, "Hey, is it over?"

Anyway, this trilogy proved to be beautiful. Without hot-sexy scenes, she gives us - and remembers - the important aspects about forgiveness and love.

Holy Cannoli!!! What a finale or should I say beginning? I have been patiently waiting for the last installment of the Broken Angel Series by L.G. Castillo. I don't read paranormal romance very often, but when I do I turn to my co-blogger Ria for recommendations. She was the one that introduced me to this PHENOMENAL series! I love angels!!!!!! L.G. Castillo's amazing talent has made me love them even more! This story was beautifully written and it captivated me from beginning to end.

It's very hard to review this book without giving anything away. When I finished reading After the Fall (Broken Angel, #2) I wanted answers. This is the book where all of our questions get answered. I think that out of all the series this is the book that was most emotional to me. To see how Lash and Naomi's love started was just breathtaking. When they shared that first kiss ... Oh, my God!!!! I got shivers!!! This is where their journey started and what an emotional journey it has been! Eternal love, it's a beautiful thing! <3

What I really love about L.G. Castillo's writing style is that the connection she makes us feel with the characters is OUT OF THIS WORLD! I felt a connection to every single character in this series. Even Lucifer! I loved seeing all my favorite characters again : Lash, Naomi, Jeremy, Rebecca, Raphael, Uri, Rachel, Michael, Gabrielle, Chuy, Lalo and let's not forget my favorite one ... Welita!!!!!! I love her to pieces!!! Even if she was not very present in this book my heart burst with happiness when I read the scenes where she was mentioned. What was amazing about Before the Fall, is that we get to see how the main couples found love and what they had to go through to find their HEA. It was emotional, intense and powerful!

I am so sad that this series is complete. I wish I could read about these characters FOREVER! I am still crossing my fingers that a certain sexy angel is going to get his own book. He totally deserves a HEA <3

I give, Before the Fall, by L.G. Castillo 5 beautiful, emotional, mesmerizing, eternal, powerful, irresistible stars! I want more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pretty please?!?!?!?! If you want to read an amazing Paranormal Romance Series about angels, look no further, the Broken Angel Series is exactly what you are looking for!

The story starts at the beginning, literally! At the end of book two Raphael, Rebecca, Rachel & Uri are planning to tell Naomi, Lash & Jeremial about what happened before they all fell. As sad I am that this is the last book this is a story I have been waiting (impatiently I might add) for, to find out how it all started.

You finally find out how Lash, Naomi and Jeremial are all connected and this story does not disappoint it has so much depth and detail it’s fantastic. You learn about the fall of Lucifer, Uri and Raphael and how they pretty much got in the trouble that causes everyone else to suffer punishment. You learn so much about more about Rebecca (Loved her). This is an amazing cast of characters I felt for Lash and loved the kindness of Naomi. The evilness of Lucifer and the confusion of Uri as he finally realizing Rachel loved him.

It was like starting from the beginning when you already knew the end, you think, but how does that work? Well Linda makes it work and it is an incredible story. I was getting so nervous at some point worried for the characters and wondering if it would all work out, even though I knew what was going to happen, if you can accomplish that in writing you are doing it right and she has done it brilliantly. Linda is a beautiful storyteller and her take on Angels and Demons is amazing and you find yourself having to take a moment to realize, Wait, Did that really happen? I loved her writing style and her passion for the characters she created.

I gave Before the Fall by Linda Castillo 5/5 Stars. I loved the first two but honestly this one is my favorite. Grab your tissues this has strong characters and an incredible story to go with them. I will miss this series and these angels so much. This is a must read, 100% recommend this series you will not be disappointed.

First and foremost let me begin by stating that I received a free copy of the book from the author in exchange for my honest review (LOP R2R). Thank you

Before the fall is the background story of the love triangle between Lash, Jeremy and Naomi and how everything got started. It’s an amazing story, that left you satisfy and at the same time starving for Jeremy’s story. I just hope that Castillo will release his book soon. I want to make sure Jeremy and Gabrielle find happiness.

***********************************Spoiler Alert***********************************

Raphael and Rebecca story was heart breaking. What Lucifer did to them was horrible; I actually had to stop reading when he took her into the bedroom. I was so upset that it took me several tries to get through that scene. Rebecca was such a beautiful creature that what Lucifer did was beyond words. He not only violated her body but her soul, he killed her trust, love and kindness. It was only through Lash’s birth that she regained some of her beauty.

As far as Raphael I was so disappointed with his treatment of Lash. I understand that he was destruct with the knowledge that Lash was Lucifer biological son but his treatment was unwarranted. Lash is such a kind and giving creature that he should have known that it was not who fathered him that matter but who raised him. How could he tell Lash that he would find someone else, that Jeremy as first born deserved Naomi. Raphael should have been sympathetic to Lash’s predicament since he too stole Rebecca from Baka.

Castillo’s characters are so vivid that you can’t help but feel all their emotions like they were happening to someone you love. You feel so protective that you wanted somehow to create another Naomi so both Jeremy and Lash would be happy. I just want to say Thank you to Castillo for creating such amazing characters and hope to read more from her.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review (Lovers of Paranormal).

Finally we get to know what exactly happened before the Fall and it didn't disappoint me. Basically you know what happens based on the stuff, mentioned in the first two novels, but it still made me cry.

I have to admit I love all character's in this story:
Raphael found the love of his life in Rebecca and I'm happy for him. They even were granted two children. Even though it was selfish of him, I still can't be angry at him. He simply wanted a chance at happiness! (And we all know he truly cares for his family.)
Rebecca didn't come out strong in this book, but still played an important role. She proved, that she will love and support Lash no matter what happens.
Lash and Naomi are so cute together! I almost cried everytime they spent time together. Their feelings just seem to be so pure and true.
Jeremy is a complicated character. Sometimes I hate him and sometimes I love him. He is a good brother and friend, but I never want him to be together with Naomi! Hopefully we'll be able to see him find happiness in an other novel/story :)

Overall there isn't a lot to say about the story, in my opinion the main focus lay on the different relationships. But it still was a great conclusion for this trilogy. We get to know and love each character even more than we already do and I think that's even better than some stuff happening in the future, even though as I mentioned above I'd like to see a sequel starring Jeremy! :)

I have to admit concerning this book I'm kind of at a loss of words, a little bit overwhelmed and don't know how to explain my feelings best.(Actually this review seems little like trash to me LOL) But all I can say is: Read it! It definitely deserves the 5 stars I gave! :)

Tears and goose bumps y’all Fo’Real. This is one of those books that will leave a long lasting impression on your heart. Every single character will leave a mark. There was one teensy tiny part where I thought a little recap would've been good but other than that le magnifique! The ending was amazing full of love and hope. This was a book of reflection we know why and how all of these amazing characters are who they are today. Get ready for a story full of love and the sacrifices made in the name of it. I most definitely recommend this series! I’m sure it’ll make your fav’s list!!

My Wish
Lash mentions something at the end that he worries about. Naomi assures him of a truth that lies within her heart…I would lose my SH#% if we get a book about that “feeling” she has guided by faith.

My Rating
5.0 City Gates, Day Visit, Secret Gifts, Simple Life, Great Sacrifice, Foot Race, Stolen Kiss, Fishing Encounter, Daily Walks, Golden Ring, Mistaken Betrothal, Demon Army, Avenging Angels, Unbreakable Love filled stars! I want to go run in the meadows and sing aloud this was absolutely amazing!! GET.it.NOW.

This third book in the Fallen Angel series delves into the history of Lash and Naomi. We are taken back in time to an era when angels roamed the earth more freely and even had children with humans, the ‘nephilim’. Raphael was one of these angels, and we learn how exactly he is tied to Lash and Naomi. What follows is a story of love, longing, and betrayal, resulting in a biblical battle and fierce personal punishment for those involved.

As with the previous books, L.G. Castillo takes biblical stories and focuses on a few individuals within them. The third book in the series, this book actually covers events which took place eons before the first two books. By changing up the timeline this way, the reader is given more insights into the backgrounds of Lash and After The Fall.

The author portrays the various characters, both angelic and human, in a very honest way. Each character has its merits and flaws, fueling their actions. Because we already know what punishment was exacted, it is very interesting to learn of the events leading up to this.

This book definitely lived up to its expectations and I devoured it!

This final book in the trilogy blew me away. I wish there could be a #4.
The story starts at the very beginning. At the Fall. With Lucifer being the leader and convincing Uriel and Raphael to fall with him to Earth.
We meet human Rebecca as she and Raphael's story unfolds. Ms Castillos portrait of Lucifer and his doings was so real you hated him from the very beginning.
I've always had a weak spot for Jeremial but for a split second I disliked him. It really was only for a second I swear. The love Jeremial and Lahash have for each other is so real and kind. As any true blooded brothers have. Reading how Lahash came to be was heartbreaking and seeing how Raphael treated him was worse.
We meet Naomi. And right away I fell in love with her kind heart and the love she has for Lahash.
The back story of Rachel and Uriel is very heartwarming. It's a real and true girl loves boy boy realizes girl loves him romance.
Even Lalo and Chuy make an appearance In The end!!!!
I've enjoyed this trilogy so much and am so thankful I was allowed an arc!!!!

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side.

Firstly I would like to thanks the author for giving me this opportunity of reading and reviewing this fabulous book.

Wow!!! I really loved the concept and it's execution. Ah!!! The emotions that were portrayed in this story were soul-touching and I loved and cherished this awesome experience. There is betrayal, pain, longing, and so much more to wrench your heart.

The characters were so mature and developed and I loved the crisp dialogues and the best part is that the heroine isn't the Queen of 'Idiotland'. Even if this si the third novel the author has succeeded in keeping the story fresh and unique and it didn't feel like the story was dragged anywhere. The suspense and mystery part is good but it wasn't great because I saw some of the biggest twists coming from a long way.

The best part is the emotions that took my breath away. This is a great read and I would definitely recommend it to you guys. Hope you'll like it just as I did. Enjoy!!!

What an amazing end to this book series. I read the three books in two days, it was a great discovery and I’m so glad I was provided with the ARCs and the third book is a total revelation to the story. We find out about the begining, the Fall and how everything started for Lucifer and Raphael.

The story show us what we readers wanted to know, how Jeremial and Lahash knew Noemi and their relationship previous the first book. The family they grew up with Raphael and everyone else in the story like Rachel and Uriel’s relationship.

The different point of views, gives the reader a lot more than what we normally get from one or two points of view. The author gave a lot of thinking about their world and the description take you right where the story develops.

I just wish there was more into the story, perhaps Jeremial story? I just fell in love with all the characters.

This trilogy is a total must read, don’t wast time and just go ahead and dive into this books.

Another good book in this series. At first I was confused as to why this was the third book in the series instead of a prequel novel as most of the events taken place far before the start of the series. However, upon completing the story I realised it really does bring the threads of each character's story together and finally completes their story as a family as they are all finally reunited. The writing was better than previous books and still reasonably well edited for an ebook. I also found I came to understand the characters a bit better - particularly Jemeriel and Lahash's relationship with each other and how their rivalry over Naomi came about. Overall it was a good quick read and a very sweet and romantic story. I love reading this story and will be keeping an eye out for more books from this author.

I was given this ARC from the author and LOP (Lovers of Paranormal) in exchange for an honest review.

Alright give me a min so I can dry my eyes. This was an AMAZING book. And it seriously rounds everything out from the other 2 books. There is love and there are struggles. There is sadness and there is joy. Everything about this book complements itself.

There is endless description and riveting story line, there is amazing dialog that gets your right into the feel of it. The characters are so well created that when they are speaking its like your right there with them! I understand that this is the last book, but I hope that you continue more with this story line, maybe with the other characters also!! GREAT WORK!!

Before the Fall is the third installment in the Broken Angel series by LG Castillo.

Archangel Raphael recalls the story of his time on earth, and the lives of his sons Lahash and Jeremiel.

The history shared by the angels in this series is uncovered, along with Lahash’s true parentage. Lahash and Jeremiel are both in love with Naomi, but who does she love more?

This love story is set along Lucifer’s fall from heaven, and how he began to build his demon army.

Rich with history and excitement, this is a valuable addition to this series, as it provides background and new insight to relationships in Lash and After the Fall.

Go back to the beginning if it all in the third installment of LG Castillo’s awesome series! Before Lash protected Naomi. Before Jeremy thought he was in love with Naomi. Before Raphael visited earth . This historic like romance starts at the very beginning of the story when these two families became entertained.
Set in 1400 BC, this is an attwntion grabbing action packed tale of romance between differant couples and their romance. How it all began.
Ive loved all these characters from the beginning and thoroughly enjoyed the story before the story. This is without a doubt a one click adventure!

This book did not continue where the last book ended fighting Lucifer, it is a book based on the past and answers questions. I loved finding out Raphael's and Rebecca's story and what really happened between Naomi, Lash and Jeremy. This is a must read because it provides cohesiveness to the series.

I thought it was great how this book went back to the beginning showing Lash and Naomi's love was definitely destined to be. It was great to see Lash with his family. I felt so bad for him at how he was treated differently. But as we know he got the girl in the end. Perfect.

i love artistic license, it's the most amazing argument ever. though there were a lot of changes, i think this is one of the few series which have portrayed angels as imperfect beings.
The flow was kinda choppy, but the story plot was well thought out.

The Origins Are Revealed

This story goes further back into the past. It focuses more on Raphaels' life as an angel, then as a husband and father. As you continue to read, the characters from the other books slowly emerge until it reaches its climax.
