The Keeper #4

Sanctuary

Rate this book
Usually, when the good guys kill the big bad, the world is saved and it's happily ever after.

But that wasn't the case this time, or any time actually, not with Liz McBeth and her family of champions. With Klein dead, the threat seemed far away. But with Klein's death, the real menace appeared. The ArchDemons were the real masterminds behind the vampiric messiah movement, and they're not finished yet.

Luckily, the Earth hasn't run out of heroes just yet.

SPECIAL: As a thanks to all of my friends who have helped me bring "The Keeper" to life, please make sure to check out the preview to "The Keeper: Unveiled"! The entire first chapter of the fifth book is included at the end of the book. Don't miss it!

I am always so excited to read the next book in this series ! OL Ramos improves the whole package with each addition.

One of the things that I look forward to is the new and invigorating characters that are incorporated in each new book. I will have to say, that I was not disappointed. Father Vassilli is such an enigma and I adore his personality. The main characters,Michael, Liz, and Vincent are of course prominent, as well as Cain, Sariel, and Mary. There are some very descript demons, gods, and goddesses that are brought forth in this book also. I really appreciate the time that this Author puts in to researching these folk lore creatures. Thank You !

That brings me to the action scenes. I love reading these scenes because I feel like I am pulled right into the middle of the battle. I can read it and know where each character is and never lose track of what they are doing or what is happening. Ramos is great at "painting the whole picture."

And finally, the romance. Ahhhh Liz and Vincent. The thing I love about this series is how each book gets more in depth with the relationship of these two characters. It's like listening to an Italian aria. The story begins and builds until you are so lost in this romance and before you know it, your heart is pounding and you are screaming at your Kindle ! Well done Mr. Ramos !

Without posting any spoilers, I am going to say this. There are a couple of things happen that really threw me for a loop and left me shocked. I want to say more, but instead, I will encourage you to grab The Keeper: Awakening (Book 1) and start this incredible journey that OL Ramos has made a part of our lives.

Bravo !

It's not all that common when we get a paranormal book that includes all the 'head' honchos of paranormals.
In this series we start with the vampires and werewolves, who are naturally not on each others good sides, but Michael and Vincent are the oddities. Then we have keepers, which if you've read up to this point you know how important keepers are to the supers in this world. But now we're adding in Angels and Demons (ArchDemons at that!).

Just when you think our group will get to rest and start to enjoy building lives together another evil works it's way to the top. However, after Klein's death we learn he was basically a puppet for the real baddies that are determined wipe the Earth of those that would rebel against them.
Of all the books I've read so far, I honestly thought the third would forever be my favorite. However, Sanctuary has knocked Rebirth out of the field! I can't wait to see what we get next!

Each book in this series just gets better and better and better. Seriously. As good as his last book in this series was, this book is even better. I just couldn't put it down. If you haven't yet started this series, Awakening (the first one) is free.

I had said that I had wanted more action, and boy did I get it. Not only did we get the main characters ie: Liz, Michael, Cain, Mary and Vincent, we also got a plethora of cast members thrown into the mix.

This series has everything. It's got vamps, angels, werewolves, witches, demons, hell hounds and more. It's also got life lessons along the way. Those lessons sucked me in and I actually FELT for the characters (and sometimes not in a good way). To me, the mark of a good author is when you can get sucked into the world that they are painting, whether it be the joy that they feel, the betrayal that they feel, and the anguish as well. When I can actually be disgusted by the actions of the characters in a story, then to me it's a VERY good book. I will have to say that I actually had tears in my eyes from time to time.

Not going to get too much into the storyline with this review (the synopsis and other reviews can do that for you), but the way it made me FEEL.

Kudos to Mr. Ramos for job WELL done. Bravo!

'I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review'

These books are all so amazing and this one is no different. OL always writes a riveting story that you can't put down.

There is never ending trouble for Liz and crew. They still need to defeat the demons. They get some unexpected help, and they end up having to come to the aid of many others. They end up providing Sanctuary to a bunch of Supers. Although some are not as thankful as others.

There are some surprises when it comes to Mary. The group makes some amazing new friendships and they suffer great loss.

I absolutely LOVED this book but that is nothing new. I love this whole series. OL has come up with an Amazing series and each book draws you in further. Although I LOVE the book I am upset about a certain part that you will have to read to find out. There are some great fight scenes and some interesting sex scenes. I highly suggest reading but you will definitely have to start with the first book.. The Keeper: Awakening, and guess what? It's FREE! The first book will get you hooked.

The day I had been awaiting had finally arrived I could sink myself into book four of The Keeper Series, Sanctuary. With baited anticipation I began to read knowing within minutes that this book was not what I had foreseen. Each character in this series had grown stronger as they set out to save earth from the struggle of good versus evil and yet each still held a special place in me. As each scene played before me it was like watching a sexy paranormal Die Hard movie! I giggled to myself as I waited to hear one phrase Yippee Ki Yay *&%#$@ @*^%#^ only I knew it would not be there. I have been with this series from the very first book The Keeper Awakening and it has become stronger, bolder, and darker as time passes and each book as come to life. I can't tell you how it all will end up as that is Mr. Ramos's job I will tell you that this series has been one I look forward to reading with each new installment. Give it a try what have you got to lose the first one The Keeper Awakening is free.

The Keeper: Sanctuary by O.L. Ramos is book 4 in the Keeper Series and it is amazing. The characters have grown stronger and closer together, staying true to their chosen mission. This addition adds new, delightful characters yet maintains the charm and relationships that I have become addicted to in the first three books. The writing is strong and consistent, which is terrific considering the vast number of additions. As a fan of a well written fight scene, the ones in this book are flawless. Never do you lose track of any of the key players. The descriptions and story line are theater quality, creating images in my mind as surely as if I were watching it on screen. The love scenes are poetic and tender, even when acrobatic. This book is a must read, a productive addition to an amazing series. And the hook...oh the hook!

This, the 4th installment of The Keeper series, left me breathless. We have action, romance & hardships. I this episode, The Ironskin Clan are still trying to beat the bad guy. Why does it seem there is a never ending supply of baddies? Anyway, the Clan is getting tougher, but so are the bad guys. The fight scenes are just so down & dirty, well written too. I found myself trying to brush off the dirt & grime, squinting to see through the dust & tensing my muscles like I was there fighting right along side them.

The romance scenes made my heart flutter & my pulse quicken. I was sweating right along with the characters, although mine could've been hot flashes. LOL

The whole book made me feel wonderful joy, awesome strength in myself, & heart wrenching sadness. VERY well written Mr. Ramos!

So the last book had you hanging off your seat wondering what's going to happen now.... well this book has all the answer AND more! Wonderfully written as usual by the ever talented Ol Ramos. I couldn't even put the book down. ... it sucked me in, made me a part of their world.
The new characters are awesome, and the old ones are lovable as always. Without saying too much so I don't spoil it for anyone else but this book will definitely send you on an emotional roller coaster ride. . Bigger fight scenes, hotter and steamier sex scenes and it might even make you wanna slap a b*tch lol. Go buy and read it, you definitely won't be disappointed!!!!

Out of all of Mr. Ramos’s books this has to be the best one. It had more decision making for everyone involved, it had so many twists and turns. And I won’t lie I giggled, gasped, laughed and cried. This is not your normal Vampire, Werewolf, Keeper, Angel story. This is them at their most personal and vulnerable times. I am glad I started with Awakening at the beginning of the series. I don’t like to giveaway what the book is about but I will sum it up with these words; Sexy, Spellbinding , Nail Biter, Heart Stopping, Astonishing, and last but not least Magnificent!

Absolutely amazing book! The battle scenes, the birth of a new member, the new powers and abilities/bonds between the group! The sanctuary that has become home is still full of life and love. I cried my eyes out while readin this book. I still don't like Mary though lol. And Michael is still the same but I wish things would have been different. The end I didn't see coming and I am extremely ticked off and sad. What will become of the family now and how will this effect the outcome of the world?
