Rate this book
To defy the gods, they must uncover their true power.

To everyone's surprise, Kalani Mayfield is the only human who has ever competed in and won the Tournament. Now living on Mount Olympus among the Greek gods and their descendants, she must adjust to a new life away from her family and surrounded by magical beings. However, unrest brews on Olympus.

When Kalani unknowingly becomes the figurehead of the human servant rebellion, she faces a side with the gods for her safety, or risk everything to support her fellow humans. With her friend group shattered after the Tournament, she feels more isolated than ever.

Sadie Aska never imagined that participating in the Tournament would cost her everything but her life. Winning the last trial meant losing her twin brother's trust and her own self-confidence. Seeking an escape, Sadie becomes a Huntress for the Olympians and is sent to Earth for her first mission - to capture a powerful Copper hiding in Paris. Yet, her desire to stay away from Mount Olympus clashes with her morals. How can she aid in capturing Coppers when the Tournament has destroyed her life? And how can she rebuild herself without the freedom that Earth, away from all reminders of her failures, provides?

All the Secrets Within Us is the second book in the Claiming Olympus duology. This urban fantasy, inspired by Greek mythology, is perfect for fans of Percy Jackson, the Hunger Games, and Red Queen.

All the Secrets Within Us is an amazing continuation of both Kalani and Sadie’s stories. After I finished All the Gold Between Us I was dying to find out more about Kalani’s family history and see what life would be like for all the characters following the tournament, and this sequel gave me all of that and more. I loved the dual point of view and getting to experience Sadie’s story, which was a great addition from the first book. Overall this is a really well written story and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it!!

I really enjoyed both books in this series, and feel the story continues well in this book. The characters develop further throughout and these developments really help to move the story along. I read a lot of books so sometimes forget details but Jade did a great job of recapping the first novel without it feeling too repetitive. If you're interested in stories about the Greek God's then I think you'll enjoy this series.

What a great fantasy, adventure, romance YA book. It was an enjoyable and exciting read! I personally enjoyed the character development more in the first book, but they were all still good in this one, too. I wish the climax built more directly out of the plot of the rest of the book, but that is one of my few critiques. The book stayed lighthearted and was not unnecessarily graphic. I loved the main message of the value of friendship, and the characters were all super genuine!

I love the dual POV of Sadie and Kalani and the character development was great. The plot was full of suspense and a little of angst for our girly Sadie but I loved it. Some points had me kicking and giddy like a little girl 😊. All in all I loved this book as a mixture of all the magical fantasy.

Such a great follow up to the first book! We see how much the characters grow, learning about themselves, their friends, and their families. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the dialogue and also really liked the addition of Sadie’s POV. This sequel wraps up every part of the story although not without twists and turns along the way. Highly recommend!!

This is the second book in the Claiming the Olympus duology. The story is set a few weeks after the events of All the Gold Between Us.

This was a quite enjoyable read. Overall, the story was good, although I found the storyline a bit dragged. In fact, the main plot doesn’t clearly take hold until around 80%, and before that, I wasn’t sure where it was headed. This means that for the most part, the plot seems like a bunch of events occurring one after another. While they are enjoyable, there are many of them, and the main plot feels rushed in the last eighty pages.

What I liked most about this book is how the author was able to address the problems the characters face, exploring well their feelings and needs. After the Tournament, the main characters are shocked and struggle to continue with their lives as if nothing happened. The first-person narrative really makes you understand what they are feeling. I also appreciated the sense of justice that drives the characters.

Despite the book having two different POVs in the first person, I could easily tell the two characters apart because they are developed differently, and that’s a praise.

This is a duology I’d recommend to people who want a quick read with emotional characters and a light plot, as it’s not heavy on world-building and it’s set in our—though slightly different—world.

I received an advanced reader copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
