Cinderella for adults only

A modern day, loosely based on the Cinderella storyline, a quick read with over the top, smutty, breeding goodness with an innocent heroine and a bit of a depraved prince.

This is a debut novella, the concept is great, however execution could do with some polish.

Breeding Cinderella is the debut release of new to me author Everly Love.
Book one in Knocking up the Princess series follows Elizabeth ‘Ellie’ Baxter and Prince Benedict through their dual POV in a super hot and spicy, twisted Fairytale retelling of Cinderella.

Considering Breeding Cinderella is a novella, author Everly Love did a good job in delivering a pleasant read with this adult version fairytale retelling.
Given the fast pace movement of the storyline from getting to know about Ellie and her life that included her evil stepmother Madame Bianca and stepsisters Riley and Miley, as well as Prince Benedict and his life.
To their first meeting that would eventually lead to a bunch of chaos and drama to follow, resulting in the narrative being quite the rollercoaster ride adventure for the two.
Always moving swiftly along, never allowing for a dull moment with every page turn having you constantly reading on, ultimately making it a quick read.

It needs to be known when it came to the heat level, author Everly delivered in giving you dirty talk accompanied by burning red-hot, sizzling spice that was steamy AF, considering the metaphorical fire alarms that were going off between Ellie and Prince Benedict.

With Breeding Cinderella being a short read, author Everly Love did a good job with having enjoyed the narrative that delivered a beginning, middle and end that was both a spicy and entertaining read to me.
It can be said after this book, Everly has me looking forward for more to come from her Knocking up the Princess series.

Part of the Knocking Up Th Princess my first by this author it won’t be the last one it is a sort of retailing of Cinderella why not 😊. Ellie lives the life of Cinderella with a cruel stepmother along with stepsisters with one goal make her life as miserable as possible until the prince arrived to invite them to attend the breeding ball but of course she wasn’t going to be allowed to attend if her stepmother and stepsister had anything to say about it. Although, her stepmother has other plans marry her off to someone more horrid than herself for money so an escape plan is hatched knowing she is meant to be with the prince. Benedict sexy as all get out prince makes his rounds inviting all single girls to the breeding ball looking forward to it and not looking forward to it at the same time until he sees the women he knows will be his no matter how and nothing will stand in his way but will he get to her in time, will her stepmother get in the way, and will she find peace with a little happiness?

Ellie is basically Cinderella in this book. She has a cruel stepmother and stepsisters who make her life a living hell. When Prince Benedict came around to invite her family to his Breeding Ball, he fell for her instantly. It was a struggle for Ellie to gain confidence and actually go to the ball. When they see each other there, things get spicy. And man oh man, there was certainly breeding!!

Wow, I loved this. I only gave it 4 stars because there is a LOT of dialogue and it was boring in a few places. But the public smex during the end of the book was yummy. ;)

I am honestly unsure how I feel about this book. At times, it felt way too over the top and nauseating. There was some information thrown into the book that was never again used such as the glass d1ldo... why mention it if it wasn't going to be brought up again? I found some editing errors as well. I did however like the base of the story And since this was a debut I will go to the next story to see how that goes because I also love retellings.

The blurb makes it sound like getting knocked up was her plan... but it wasn't, she only wanted an escape and marry the prince.

The "glass slipper" in the fairytale is a glass dildo lmao the King doesn't approve of the match, and wants the Prince to find another virgin. The prince then makes a glass replica of his dick to send to all the virgins in the town to "see if he would fit" but thereby ruining them and the King's plan of finding a virgin

The part with the King throwing the prince in a jail cell because he killed the stepmother and didn't respect the King's authority... but then turns out, he was quite proud of his son and only wanted to teach him a lesson, suddenly accepting Ellie as his chosen bride was random.

This one might be 2.5 stars for me.
There wasn't anything really stand-out about it. It was a twist on Cinderella, and even though I understand that it's based on a fairy tale, it was a little too outlandish. The writing wasn't quite there either. It really needs an editor, but also some fine tuning. Conversations were short and choppy in places making them hard to follow (who was talking), and there were moments where the viewpoint changed midchapter (it was Lizzy's chapter but would say she or her, talking about herself.) I just needed more from this to really enjoy it.

This was definitely the most erotic and smutty version of Cinderella that I have ever read. If you are a fan of dirty talk, then this book will be right up your alley. The tone and dialogue was a bit too corny for my tastes and there where some minor POV errors but overall it was an ok read for anyone looking to pass an hour reading.

This is a short, over the top story. It is a twisty spicy retelling of Cinderella. It follows the story of Ellie and Benedict, a prince.
I enjoyed it. All of the characters delivered and were on point.
I love the prince’s possessiveness and how he fell instantly in love with Ellie.
