weleh weleh, sebenarnya saya sudah baca kisah shinichi kudo ini dari nomor 1 hingga 52. tapi banyak bener ya mau masukkan ke goodreads ini =_= pokoknya saya masih penasaran sama gimana akhir ceritanya!! shinichi cepatlah kalahkan kawanan berjubah hitam!!
komik yg sudah saya baca sejak 12 tahun yang lalu ini recommended. kasus-kasus pembunuhan (kadang cuma kasus kecil seperti bapak kepala sekolah yang 'menghilang' & ternyata nggak masuk sekolah hanya karena malu wignya hilang!!) menarik diikuti. ditambah akal shinichi, heiji (sobat shinichi sesama detektif), ai haibara (ilmuwan yang berhasil kabur dari kawanan berjubah hitam) yang cerdasnya, ckckck, dalam menyelesaikan kasus yang polisi sering luput menyelidikinya.
yang membuat greget di komik ini adalah saat-saat conan kejar-kejaran dengan kawanan jubah hitam agar tidak ketahuan identitas aslinya, dipersulit memikirkan bagaimana agar teman & kerabat dekat mereka tetap aman & tidak ikut terlibat dalam kasus kawanan jubah hitam yang membahayakan jiwa. kisah cinta tentu juga ada, mulai dari ai yang kadang tersipu malu saat berada di dekat conan (shinichi yang tubuhnya mengecil), ran yang kadang menduga shinichi selingkuh dengan wanita lain, mitsuhiko si anak SD yang naksir dengan ai, kazuha kekasih heiji yang kadang cemburu melihat sedikit kedekatan ran & heiji di sebuah kasus, masih banyak lagi. sip sebagai penyegar otak saat membaca kasus yang mumet-mumet..
dari komik ini, diri saya saat duduk di bangku SD jadi tahu sedikit banyak yang namanya kedokteran forensik, FBI, CIA, conan doyle, sherlock holmes (tokoh detektif di novel yang shinichi idolakan). bagus untuk mengasah logika :)

1. mouri POV is really a nice touch in a volume tbh, i loved how to the cat was named 'goro' after mouri's first name 'togoro' i mean we all followed conan's deduction but amazing.
2. i kinda wanted to see more moments with mouri and ran's mom!!
3. next case is about the demon mansion and the nailed window. gotta tell you i was kinda scared lol.
4. the fact that sonoko didnt tell that they are re-visiting their house from cases earlier is funny lol.
5. now the last case in this volume is about an 'almost suicide' which was a quite nice change!
6. i loved how this volume had more peaceful-non-murder cases!
all in all, a quick read tbh.

Caso Estar Güors o Estar Beter (made in Conan): novedoso y bastante sorprendente. No se basa en descubrir un crimen tanto como en evitarlo mientras nos ponemos en el punto de vista del potencial criminal. Tiene un buen mensaje, el plan resulta creíble porque está lleno de agujeros y se explora un poco la mente demacrada de un pobre diablo que no sabe qué hacer con su vida o la de los demás. Este formato de dos capítulos le sienta bien a la serie, sin duda, al permitirle a Aoyama ser original y dejar la tensión en segundo plano o enfocarse en ella con un crimen humanamente posible.
Caso Satokagi, Historia de un Matrimonio: bastante chulo. De nuevo, se nota que Aoyama ha descubierto los problemas de una historia tan larga y repetitiva; en lugar de continuar con el usual 3 sospechosos-1 sospechoso (que también lo hace, ojo), juega con ello para que todo resulte inesperado. El clímax y el asesino me han sorprendido porque son la mezcla justa de sospechas y red herrings, lo que debería hacer una serie así. Por otro lado, la parte de Sato y Takagi no es demasiado destacable, pero tiene a Sato partiendo la pana y molando mil, así que yo estoy satisfecho.
Caso El Flipador de Cochecitos: más estándar que el resto del tomo, pero sí que juega con poner al lector en el punto de vista del asesino. Además, Aoyama parece estar cogiéndole el gusto a eso de "X destroza el plan criminal", de manera que ya no parecen casos herméticos, perfectos; ahora son mucho más humanos y creíbles. Dicho esto, la razón por la que está todo al revés es un poco extraño y no lo veo tan bien justificado. Por lo menos, es Megure el que resuelve el caso junto con Conan, así que espero que poco a poco otros personajes vayan teniendo más importancia.
Caso "Makoto, Te Quiero Pa' Novio": no es especialmente interesante y su final es una cosa rarísima (¿en serio? ¿La puta Yakuza?). Lo bueno es que se lee rápido, es entretenido y vuelve a jugar con la fórmula usual con el auténtico asesino. El resto lo explica el título del caso; qué bae es Makoto siempre que no hace comentarios tipo "vas enseñando carne, Sonoko", que ahí le metería de hostias hasta en el carné de identidad.

The first case - Star Blade case was quite sad. At least the Detective League managed to stop Tatei from committing suicide and pinning it as a murder on a guy who regretted his own actions.
The Fake Wedding case was amusing because of the antics of Yumi with Takagi, to make Sato jealous. It was thrilling too - because the groom himself turned out to be the villain. Sato's disguise as the bride worked like a charm, forcing him to give up.
The Upside-Down case was exciting because of the smartness of the killer. But no one gets past Conan. I was a bit peeved when Conan did not tell who was the supposed murderer in the novel written by the victim.
The Red Handkerchief case was thrilling because of the ending and Makoto. It was also romantic.
WHY IS MAKOTO SO ROMANTIC?! Every damn time. Also, the Kanji/Katakana was an interesting twist to the mystery.
Loved it!

I have decided to read all the chapters available up to now (we are almost to 1000!) As you can see, I am totally fangirling over here and I don't care, because this is one of my favorite manga series, ever! But all of this aside, there are a few things I wanted to list so I don't need to go back and look everything up when I do finally sit down and write my fangirl review. ✌🏻

#1, I never call this CASE CLOSED. If you do, you're not a true fan of this series, so don't even bother reading my review or my personal opinions. I'm sorry if I offend you, but you offended me first by telling me you want to read CASE CLOSED or you just love Jimmy.
#2, as you can tell by #1, I read this online. I would never waste my money buying a manga series in english that cannot get the name correct and mess up the main characters to make it appear more "ENGLISH." I am so happy I don't run a blog and this isn't a review on Sailor Moon, #1, because I have a huge soap box tirade against DiC. I also don't think there is anything against reading something online. Comics, which is what manga are, are meant to be read and shared and sometimes paying over $10 is too much in my opinion. Plus, I read the newest chapters as soon as they are released from Japan, because I would never miss a release of DC. So this is my personal shout out to you translators from me, Thank You!

A quick and enjoyable read.

The immediate page starter features a parody of Star Wars and for me…no better way to open a book that’s on its 52 volume then to homage/parody another long running series. Little did I know this would be the story and not just a nice background! The Junior Detectives take part in this story and while a death occurred…I still see this as a lighter story with some glimmers of hope spread throughout and especially at the end. The next story deals with the police setting up a plan to capture a would be murderer…at a wedding hall! Detective Conan figures out that the potential killer is most likely in the wedding party! Interesting twists and turns fill this story…but as per usual it all turns out well in the end. The next story has to deal with a murder that the Junior Detectives stumble upon because of accidently breaking a vase. The story is interesting as almost always and the reason and mystery was entertaining. The final story of this volume contains an adventure starring Detective Conan, Rachel and Serena. What starts off as a simple scene from a romantic TV show...turns into a lot more than the group was ready to handle. This story ends as the volume does making volume 53 a great starting point for someone just jumping into the series.

Un tome sympa encore une fois, avec des affaires intéressantes. Il se lit vite.
Deux reproches cependant : l'impression que les stratagèmes de ce tome et des tomes précédents sont parfois durs à comprendre, je ne sais pas si c'est dû à la traduction ou aux explications de l'auteur qui ne sont pas assez claires... Parfois il fait relire plusieurs fois pour saisir, ou juste laisser tomber, Just nod and smile y'all 😃
Et la misogynie insupportable de Makoto...

Der 52. Band von Conan hat ein wunderbares Herbstcover, das mir gut gefällt und ein paar solide und spannende Kriminalfälle. Dabei tauchen diesmal u.a. Sonokos Freund Makoto auf und Sato und Takagi müssen auf einer Hochzeit ermitteln, bei denen das Brautpaar gefährdet ist. Die Fälle sind nicht außergewöhnlich (wobei mir der Hochzeitsfall sehr humorvoll war, aber das liegt v.a. an Sato und Takagi ^^), aber dennoch spannend und interessant. Mich hat es gefreut, das Sonokos Freund mal wieder da ist, wenn der Auftritt auch recht kurz war. Die arme ist auch mehr Strohwitwe als alles andere.

Ga ada habisnya kalau ngomongin Conan mah. Volume ini tuh yang ngebahas pohon mapple merah itu bukan, ya? Bener ga tulisannya mapple? Yang Sonoko tergila-gila sama scene salah satu drama romantis di hutan mapple. Then, she imagines what would be happenin whether dia sama Makoto ada di hutan ini. Iya bukan sih yang bagian ini?

i really like detective conan it makes my brain turn very fastly and i really admire the author can make such a good manga and a detective genres manga
