D.Gray-man is the story of Allen Walker, who roams a fictional 19th century Earth in search of Innocence, a mysterious substance used to fight demons called akuma.
Katsura Hoshino ((星野 桂 Hoshino Katsura) was born on April 21, 1980, in Shiga Prefecture, Japan, as the younger of fraternal twin girls and the second of three children. She drew her first manga at twenty-one. In 1998, Hoshino moved to Tokyo. She dreamed of bringing her mother to the city and was able to in 2006.
She made her debut with her comics in July 2003 with the publication of her first manga series Continue and is known for her work, D.Gray-man, which began serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump in May 2004.
The action, the drama, the deadly encounters, wow that sounded cheesy. But honestly though, a lot happened in these three volumes. Tyki Mikk gets a serious upgrade as the noah within him takes over, Allen suddenly knowing how to play a piano, the 14th's legacy and a level 4 akuma appearing a lot happened. As always the art is outstanding, you get all the action and tension of the fight in all those frames the entire manga has incredible flow between the frames. The character designs are awesome, and the attention to detail at all times is brilliant. The plot moves fast, but in a good way, the characters get very short breaks between the disasters, whoch keeps the plot progressing. This manga we also get to know more about Lavi and his role as bookman when Road tries to break him.

As much as I love the chr and the plot, the art is a little difficult to be recognized ,like it is a lot of noise and cloudy to actually understand what is happening, not sure cos the combined vol quality is little darker tht the single vol. Or it is the art in general..still going to cont..with it
