The St Lucia Mystery

Mary Brown heads to the beautiful island of St Lucia on the holiday of a lifetime. She’s planning to relax and take things easy. But on the second evening, while walking on the beach, she finds a purse buried in the sand.
Inside it is a folded map, a key, and an invitation to a party on a boat the next evening. There’s also an identity card for someone called Cara Jeffries. And...thousands and thousands of dollars.
The wallet does not have a phone number, so Mary heads to the boat party the next night to hand the purse back to its owner.

Mary Brown is such a fun character..... she's always getting into something, a big lady with a big heart!

Not so funny as the others
I was a bit disappointed with this book it wasn't funny at all, not like the.other Mary Brown books. Perhaps I was expecting too much. I hope the next book in this series is funny.

This book was a perfect summer mystery. I loved how the book switched between Mary and Cara’s stories and the touch of comedy in this book. However, I did think this book was fairly predictable but overall it was a super fun, quick read.

Predictable story with a happy ending in a gorgeous setting. A little too unrealistic for my taste, but cute. Really.

Average at best. Dreamy setting but the story felt contrived and no humour despite apparently being hilarious
