It was attraction at first sight, but can anything come of it?

Declan was shocked to see Moira at the restaurant where he was to meet Maverick. When both Stephanie and Maverick are held up in meetings, they have lunch together. Later they discovered their "accidental" meeting was a setup.
He's made a name for himself in the financial world at the family-owned Harris Investments. When she mentions investing some money with his company, they quickly end their meal to head for the office at his home. Unknown to her, a spy has given him some of her background story. He knows her name has been tarnished, but he refuses to believe that someone so talented, hard-working, smart, and beautiful could be guilty of what is rumored. Also, he feels that she's as interested in him as he is in her.
Her father has always been able to use her until she finally refused to give in to him. With her help, she could get him out of jail. However, she's refusing to testify on his behalf. Her brothers are upset with her because she refuses to share the money she inherited from their maternal grandfather with them. He knew they'd just waste it. She's used part of the money to pay for her education to become a doctor, and she also bought a small condo. She made sure their grandmother was in the best care facility available and is the only one who visits her.
She's never been in love before, but Declan may be the one for her. That is, if he can let her make her own decisions rather than trying to tell her what to do. Declan's girlfriend gutted him when she dumped him. He'd never felt so betrayed before. Now she wants to see him one more time to return an item of great sentimental value to him. But is she telling the truth for once? Her bad penny father contacts her for what he says will be his final attempt to do so. Is he any more honest than Declan's ex?
She returns to the US to earth-shattering news... To be continued in the final book.

This is book four in The Harris Brother’s series and it is Declan Moira’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. Moira is a gynaecologist and also owns her own practice but while at a restaurant waiting for her cousin in walks Declan who she met once before and when they start talking they both realise that they have been set up and even though Declan makes Moira feel things that she hadn’t felt before she can’t really do anything about it because she had so many secrets and if revealed they could not only put people in danger but also completely ruin the life that she had made for herself which had become important to her so she needs to keep her distance but unfortunately things don’t go as planned. Declan comes from a rich family and because of his status people want to know and get close to him for the wrong reasons so he needs to check out there past completely by doing a background check which is what he did when he met Moira and even though he knows all about her he still feels a pull to her so he wants to get to know her better but he will have to be careful because he had already been burned before so now he is more guarded. The attraction, chemistry and connection between Declan and Moira is instant from the start and the more time that they spend together the closer they become but then everything comes to a head when she receives a letter and will have to decide what to do next but Declan is by her side encouraging, protecting and keeping her safe while they deal with the situation but then something else happens that throws Moira for a loop and changes her life and then again you get a cliffhanger ending that will have you needing the next book in this amazing and action packed series. Declan and Moira are so perfect together and for each other but will they get the happiness and future that they both want and deserve in the end especially after everything that Moira had gone through and still dealing with in her life. I absolutely love this book and series so much because each book is so addictive and kept your attention throughout with each book ending on a cliffhanger which adds to the suspense of the story.

Such an extremely exciting ebook.This amazing and talented author will have you so into the lives of Declan and Moira. You won't want to put it down. Moira is in hiding due to family shenanigans. She's working at the hospital when in comes Declan, a good looking very rich hottie. Moira is struck by an unknown force to get to know Declan. Their chemistry is so explosive but will Moira and Declan believe that being together is worth the risk or will they both decide it's just too risky? Can Moira keep both her secret and her heart hidden from Declan and can she keep from giving in to family members when they come callingr? Does Declan tell Moira his secret and does he reveal what he truly feels for her? If you want excitement, possible danger, and combustible chemistry between characters then this is one sizzling hot 5⭐️ hit you'll definitely want to get. I loved it and so will you.

OMG, Declan and Moira's story was awesome! They both had reasons to be hesitant to get together, but despite themselves, they couldn't help it. Her family background was certainly a minefield, but that's nothing new for the Harris family. I will say, her dad is a piece of work, and her brothers seem like a chop off the old block. Poor girl!
Now, if you're familiar with this series, you know they always end with a bit of a teaser into the next book. This one, though, left me hanging with so many questions about Declan and Moira. Ugh!!! I'm trying to wait patiently for the next book - note: I'm not succeeding well. Hurry, hurry... I need Malcom & Steph's story!

Desired is Book 4 in the Harris Brothers series. It's a steamy, instalove with friends to lovers vibe, opposites-attract, romantic suspense that does end in a bit of a general cliffhanger. Moira is a gynecologist from Scotland who escaped to North Carolina to get away from her criminal family. Declan is a hot billionaire businessman. The two meet at the hospital and are attracted to each other but have serious baggage. Friends essentially set them up for lunch. But can they trust each other? When both of their pasts bring more problems, can they help each other? Their chemistry was explosive, and this couple ends on a happy note, but we still have the overarching story that continues. I can't wait for book 5!!.

Desired is the fourth story in the Harris Brothers series. Desired is suspenseful and most definitely a page turning romance story. I couldn’t get enough of this amazing book, which I found to be completely captivating from start to finish. Author Sandra Alex continues to prove what an absolute incredible author she is with each book that I have read by her so thus far. I immediately fell in love with Moira and Declan. I absolutely enjoyed getting to know both of Declan and Moira as the main characters as well as seeing their relationship unfold before my eyes. I absolutely love that these two characters are happy being together. I would absolutely recommend this book for anyone to checkout and give it a read. I’m definitely going to read the other books from this series.

Great Read - Solid Series
We have another Harris Brother, Declan, has found himself bitten by the love bug. The Harris family is very thorough in its investigations when it comes to anyone with any contact with their family for business or otherwise. Declan is well aware of Moira, her family and her challenges. These two characters are destined for happiness by there are a couple hurdles that have been kicked over but are not staying down. This book ends on more of a cliffhanger but it gives a little hint to what's to come and who is next on Fate's list. Enjoy!.

I love the Harris family and this is book 4 featuring Declan. When Declan first saw Moira in Book 3 (Caught), he felt an instant attraction. Friends set them up but Moira has a secret and shy's away from relationships. Soon the two come together and Declan helps Moira with her troubling situation. This is story of family, some good and some bad and how there a times when cutting them off is the best way to go. There is an exciting cliffhanger and I can not wait to read the next book in the Harris Brothers Series.

Declan and Moira are set up by friends but the sparks between them is undeniable. She has family issues with her brother's and father and Declan is getting over the betrayal of his ex who is trying to make a comeback into his life. This is a well written story with an awesome plot along with colorful characters that had me all caught up in this story.

Great story. We are taken into the lives of Declan and Moira from the moment they meet the chemistry and attraction is clearly palpable. Both are struggling with things Declan with the betrayal of his ex which he is still struggling with and Moira the problems with her family. I was glued to their story from the beginning. The characters are well written and kept you involved with the characters.

Palpable attraction between the characters made for an interesting read due to her situation. I was intrigued by her character. I couldn’t wait to find out what would happen next. The story was well written and drew me in from the beginning.

Declan & Moira: Book 4 of Harris Brothers: Second chance at love/ cliffhanger ending/ family-friend group: Sandra Alex did a great job with Declan’s story. The writing style hooked me and kept me addicted throughout. This is a great series and I can’t wait to read Malcolm’s story, Tempted.

I read couple of the previous Harris brother series and this one was just as good, if not better than the others. I usually don't like the books that end in cliffhangers, but each books give enough conclusions to the story that I am not left wanting. Highly recommended quick and fun read.

With baggage and past hurts, Moira and Declan fight their feelings - rightly so - until they can't fight any more. She tries to keep her family drama a secret. But his family's background check reveals more than she's ready to share. I loved reading this one, and it's a great addition to the series.
