I didn't enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed Catching Fire, but that one's my favorite so not too surprising. While I thought the writing was just as good as the previous fic, I think this story just doesn't have as much depth from Peeta's point of view because he doesn't know as much about what's going on as Katniss. I do love the development of Peeta's character and the depictions of his trauma though. Very well written and well done.

I really enjoy reading the hunger games from Peeta’s perspective. The maturity in the boy, I like how this closely followed the hunger games and had its own twist on events.
