It took the eyes of an artist to see kindness where others had only seen danger.
For the infectiously positive, aspiring artist Leo Bright, the invitation to showcase his work at one of London’s top galleries was a dream come true. This was possibly his big break, or at the very least a dazzling reference on his university applications. Leo assumed he would meet the odd politician or celebrity, but an intimidating yet devilishly handsome man with an Italian accent wasn't on his bingo card.
Respected, calculated, and world-famous mafia boss Armando Searle, had no time for art events. But he knew his public persona had to be upheld, if he wanted to distract people from a recent troubling incident. The plan was show up, let the cameras flash, and leave. But when he met Leo that night, the plan crumbled as even he lacked the power to stop the spark that ignited between them.
However, as a long-in-the-making rebellion begins to bring war to the mafia, and Leo's painting dreams threaten to separate them, how much are they willing to sacrifice to keep that spark lit?
Experience a softer, grumpy sunshine, mafia romance in the first book of the Hearts of Arts series by Jayden Baker.
Ebook. This book started off looking good and reminded of reading Wattpad books, not edited well but has potential. The more I read, the worse it became. I only skimmed the last few chapters.
I say this with all the respect in the world but this book sucks. The grammar doesn’t make any sense. My native language isn’t English and even I realise the grammar doesn’t make any sense. The story could’ve been written by a twelve year old and I’ve never in my life regretted buying a book more. There’s no , or . at the end of sentences. Sometimes “ “ are completely forgotten. There’s no capital letter where they should be but there are where there shouldn’t be. I don’t know if this is only when you buy it on kindle but I don’t recommend it.
This has to be the fluffiest mafia book I have ever read, there was some grammar error but I really enjoyed this book, can’t believe their dogs get together before them☺️..
I loved it! The storyline was amazing! Really made me feel lonely with all the cute stuff they did😂😭 Yes there are some grammar mistakes, but every author has to start somewhere. I really think Jayden will publish some really good books in the future too<3
This is probably one of the best wholesome books that I have ever read. Once I started reading I didn’t want to stop, so I ending up reading the entire book in less than a day, and going ahead and doing things that I needed to get done earlier so I could read it. It was a cuteness overload for me and I just fell in love with the characters, I will be recommending this book for anyone who wants a grumpy x sunshine relationship. To be fair it was like a Wattpad story but I didn’t mind that at all.
I can’t wait to be able to read more books by this author and to see if there is a sequel to this one.
The plot, characters and storyline is a 5/5 The execution is absolutely horrid. The sex is bad and not descriptive, the grammar is bad, the captilization is bad, the timeline is bad, and it could be longer. This would have been a 10/10 for me if it was better.
I absolutely loved this book!! Unfortunately there were alot of mistakes and it was quite annoying because it was a brilliant story. But it wasn't enough to put me off!!! I'm looking forward to part 2!!!!
While I liked the content of the book and the overall premise, the many grammatical errors pulled me out of the story a few times. I recently learned this was a Wattpad book. I don’t think it reads like one, but even if it did that doesn’t mean it’s bad. I did enjoy this, but there could definitely be improvements.
I loved the couple but I feel like the story could have been better. There were gaps missing here and there and some grammatical errors. overall a good book though!
