Norman Arthur Danberg, best known as Norman A. Daniels, was an American writer working in pulp magazines, radio, and television. He created the pulp hero the Black Bat and wrote for such series as The Phantom Detective and The Shadow.

He wrote under various pen names, such as John L. Benton, Frank Johnson, Kirk Rand, and house names including C. K. M. Scanlon, Will Garth and G. Wayman Jones.

The Black Bat Reigns

Norman Daniels was an excellent story teller who entertained his readers with solid characters and solid stories that still entertain and enthrall still to this day. five star stories from a five star writer and a five star character who's double life holds firm. Fabulous reading for any solid mystery fan.
