Taylor Bennett wants his brother’s best friends.

Taylor is the youngest of three kids. He’s a cook at the family diner, a plant dad, a devoted son, and irrevocably in love with his brother’s best friend. Both of his brothers’ best friends, actually. But they’re in a relationship with each other, one that’s supposed to be a secret. So even if they were into him, they’re already together and three’s a crowd.

Damon Acosta is a pharmacist, an extrovert, an honorary member of the Bennett family, and best friend to Jonah Bennett. He’s also maybe a little in love with Taylor, the youngest Bennett Brother. Damon has always thought Taylor was good looking, but when he started wearing pretty sweaters and shiny lip gloss, Damon’s attraction went through the roof. There’s only one problem. Damon is in a relationship with Nash, Colby Bennett’s best friend.

Nash Weaver is a writer, a hermit apartment dweller, weekly begrudging gym-goer, and in love with Damon Acosta. Maybe also a bit in love with Taylor. He and Damon have always been willing to open their relationship for the right person. When it’s clear that Damon is head over heels for Taylor, Nash gives them his blessing. Only it’s not long before he finds out that Taylor is also into him.

Taylor knows how important Nash and Damon are to his brothers and to each other. He’s a fool for being willing to risk it all at his own shot at happiness, but Taylor has never let a little foolishness get in his way.

Breakfast at Bennett’s is a four book series consisting of The Virgin, The Jock, The Princess, and The Outcast. It is best enjoyed if read in order.

Safety info, content warnings and tropes down below.

Sadly I just wasn't invested in the characters or their romance in this book. Although I think the poly rep was good and it was nice to read a book where they have to work through some insecurities and growing pains, which is only natural and realistic in a situation like this. It starts with only one of the established couple dating the third MC but quickly turns into a closed triad.

Kirt Graves did a good job with the audio and it was easy to listen to, but it never made me feel anything, and I won’t be relistening.

I’ve just realized that I gave this author a 4-star-review on another of their book and I don’t understand how that’s possible if it was written by the same person.

Honestly, I've loved Taylor throughout the first two books, so I was already trash for him when I started this one and it did not disappoint. Damon and Nash are sweet and perfect and everything Taylor deserves. He's sweet and snarky and obsessed with plants and loves to cook and he's the prettiest princess, truly. I might be a bit feral for him. And it was wonderful to get to know Damon and Nash after enjoying them as Jonah & Colby's best friends.

I also love that everyone in E.M.'s books knows how to communicate. There's little I hate more than the miscommunication trope and so far I haven't spotted it in any of her books yet, which is a blessing. Communication is hot, okay? It just is.

So, surprise, surprise... another winner for E.M. Denning.

4 stars

The Princess is the third book in the Breakfast at Bennett’s series and best enjoyed when read in order. This menage romance includes a femme man who cooks like a boss and isn’t afraid to assert himself. Nash and Damon may be older, but they both want to keep their ties with their found family of Bennetts. They haven’t even revealed their current situationship, fearing that it would mess up the dynamic if they broke up. And, adding the youngest Taylor to their bed is sure to raise some eyebrows, and maybe Colby’s fists, if things go poorly.

I have adored this family and their loving and supportive growth for three books now. Colby does step out of turn, briefly, but Taylor and Nash don’t let him get away with his judgmental–and wrong-headed–behavior for long. I very much enjoyed experiencing Nash and Damon take care of their Princess, emotionally and physically. It’s a cool book in this series, very different from the two previous ones, and I’m eager to read on to the final story.

More well-balanced, healthy, polyamorous triads please!!! This was really, really good. Another very enjoyable audiobook listen and great storyline. This one felt even more filled out and plotful, there was a lot more drama and angst but in a good way. It felt like we really worked for the happy ending and I love that despite how easy it was for them to fall into a happy triad, there was a lot of communication and figuring things out. It also made me really happy that Taylor didn’t just immediately move in with the guys, he needed his space and room to grow.

Gosh, and more “princess” when it comes to femme guys, please. Their spicy dynamics were so good.

Not entirely my cup of tea. MMM has to be very specific for me to really like it and this sadly wasn't it. While hot, the relationship felt too unequal and too much like a couple with their boy toy. I do like the series overall though and I'm curious about book 4.

I had been waiting for this book ever since the end of The Jock, and let me tell you: it did not disappoint at all!!!

Damon and Nash were exactly the men Taylor needed all along. I already loved how confident Taylor grew in the previous book, but in this one he realises the men he loves are here to support him in his growth and search for independence.

I love the MMM trope where they start by dating each other separately only to realise they’ll be even better all three of them together. These three find each other at their own pace and once they’re together … 🥵🥵🥹🥹❤️❤️

The found family is strong on this one, Damon and Nash being beat friends with Taylor’s bothers. I loved the nights by the fire and the way every member of the Bennett’s family support each other no matter what.

Truly is brilliant addition to an already perfect series. I cannot wait to read about Ethan (and Mickey???) next!

Main tropes :

🤍 MMM
🤍 Secret relationship
🤍 Feminine MC

Micro tropes :

🤍 Laces
🤍 Going on cute dates
🤍 cute nickname

This was so close to being a 5 star, but two things annoyed me so I gave it a 4.5 in my notebook. So far this is my favorite of the series though. I ordered book 4 the night before I started this. I am supposed to get it in the mail today. I can't wait to read more about Mickey and Ethan.

Taylor is the youngest Bennett Brother at 22. He still works at the diner because he wants to and loves it. He lives in the basement of his dad's place (until the end of the book). He is a plant parent to who knows how many plants because he loves making them grow. He also enjoys smuggling them into other people's places of living and work. I love his fem side so much and was so happy we got more of that in this book where we had some in book two as well.

Nash is Colby's best friend and he's dating Damon who is Jonah's best friend. The two of them have been seeing each other for a while. (I know since book one the Virgin at least). The thing is that both of them also have a thing for Taylor as well. Nash keeps his to him self for a bit longer than Damon does.

Damon is so into Taylor but scared as well and goes about it the wrong at first by being a butt hole to him at one of the fire nights because that's how it came out. Nash forces him to tell Taylor the truth and to apologize. It's how he gets a date with Taylor and still dating Nash.

Then after a gone wrong picnic at the lake turns awesome after the three of them talk. Nash, Taylor, and Damon are together. They keep it to themselves not sure how people will act. Espeically, Colby who has this protective streak. Which of course Colby steps into it in a big way and that was one thing that annoyed me so much. He went off on his own brother because he didn't know the facts. He just assumed which really hurts Taylor who's never been on the wrong end of Colby's protection.

Thankfully it gets all worked out and NO one breaks up over that. I thought the sex was hot. I did want a double penetration, but a three some is still hot. I also had wanted all three of them to move in not just Nash and Damon. I get Taylor wanting his own space, but I'd hoped in the Epilogue maybe he had moved in. That apartment was too small oh well. I loved Taylor helping Mickey and can't wait until Ethan gets in the mix in his book.

Taylor caught my interest ever since the first book, but in Colby's story his character intrigued me even more. I'm so glad he got his own story and what a truly spectacular one it was!!

I love Taylor's character, he's headstrong, talented, caring, and can be just as stubborn as his brothers are. He's been interested in both Damon and Nash for years but always felt like it was a dream that would never come true to be able to have them both. But when Damon asks him out on a date, which then leads to all three men having a conversation, he realizes that his feelings aren't one sided.

Nash and Damon's characters are just as amazing as Taylor's character is. We didn't get to learn a lot about them in the previous books but that's okay cause we got to learn about them in this one. I liked how both of these men knew what they wanted but also talked about their insecurities and how they truly feel about certain things. I think it's really important to have open communication with any relationship, and I think this author did a really beautiful job highlighting the importance of communication.

The relationship between these three men occured throughout the course of this story. It wasn't a fast insta-love situation, they took their time to go on dates, and spend time together in a romantic way. Even after they confirmed they are in a relationship with each other, they continued to go on dates, and take the time to just be together, which I thought was really great.

There is a bit of angst in this book between Colby and these men, but it does eventually get resolved and it helped add more of a dynamic to these characters along with showing the growth these characters had. I'm really curious about Mickey's character, I hope that it's his story we get next! Overall a really fabulous story!!

I loved The Princess so much I had to read it twice in a row. It’s impossible to put down and I cannot recommend this book—and series—highly enough.

It felt like I fell right into the pages with this book. Nothing around me mattered as I was fully engrossed in these three—and the rest of the Bennett Family. It takes a special skill to manage that, and EM Denning has it. I laughed, I cried, I was there for everything.

Pulling a third into an established relationship is always interesting to read because it doesn’t always feel right. What I love about the author is her willingness to let the characters lead and it is clear that’s what happened here. There was nothing forced about it. Instead, it was a beautiful transformation into their relationship. Of course, I was surprised my kindle didn’t melt at times! Those scenes were scorching!

I especially enjoyed how EM Denning focused on the individual relationships as well. It wasn’t solely about all three at once. Instead, the author underlined the strength of each relationship as part of the whole.

My favorite part though is the way EM Denning really lets her characters express themselves. I find that too often in relationships, both real and in books, the relationship takes such precedence that individualism falls away. This author made sure to not let that happen.

That sense of individualism and freedom of expression is what I cherish most in these books. This book felt like hope. And really, I think that’s the magic this author constantly weaves. Hope. Hope in finding oneself, in being true to oneself, and being surrounded by those who can accept it.

5 stars for another perfect addition to the series.

My favorite Princess!!

Whenever I read one of EM’s books I always come away happy, giddy, content, and even a little bit jealous of the love her characters find in each other. I absolutely adored this sweet, amazing story and I am in love with all three men.

Taylor is the youngest of three boys and is still discovering himself. I love how we got glimpses of him in the last book with his brother Colby and found out that he likes to be a bit feminine at times. I adored then how Milo helped him and I love how much more confident he is in himself in this book. I love a soft, sweet boy in soft, pink makeup and glitter…gorgeous!!

Damon…gosh I adore him!! Damon has that golden retriever personality and I am so here for it!

It’s always the quiet ones who surprise you and Nash is the quiet, unspoken leader of the trio. He was the one to guide them and be the support the other two both needed.

I always love how EM doesn’t follow with tradition and has the guys actually communicate with each other! Because they do communicate, Taylor felt comfortable to still live separately from the others and there wasn’t a forced move-in just because they all declared their love for one another. I greatly appreciated that love didn’t fix everything. Taylor still needed his space and Damon and Nash respected that. It made the whole story feel more real and believable and just sweeter.

Also I loved how a “love triangle” was fully described as three people being in love, it’s a closed shape. A “vee” is where two people want the same person but they don’t necessarily want each other, the person at the point has to choose, it’s not a closed relationship. I will forever look at love triangles differently now.

Sweet times 3

Okay so first I should say that I'm definitely not a fan of MMM books but I honestly fell in love with Nash and I liked all the characters and wanted to know what happened so I read the book for the plot of the rest of the series. I really loved Taylor, Nash, and Damon together, but there was something missing. I think I needed deeper emotional development and connection as things happen a bit fast and I think the author could have done alot more to establish the three in a love vee and maybe should have started with Nash starting something with Taylor first since he spoke more to Taylor on a personal level and helped him out last book from a bad date so would have liked more background. I loved so much and understood Nash and Damon's relationship which was my favorite and I got Nash and Taylor as a couple but I feel like Damon starting to see Taylor differently and dating him first kind of came out of nowhere and I really wish there was more about Nash and his background but I did enjoy the three of them together and can definitely see the love between them and the only reason I gave this a 5 instead of a 4 was mainly because of my baby Nash. He was just the sweetest and grounded boyfriend and was so there for his 2 golden retriever boyfriends, and they adored him. Who would have thought a writer, a cook, and a pharmacist could have such a sweet love story and fit so well together? This was a cute, spicy, low angst book. The three took time to navigate the whole poly concept, but they talked and were there for each other through it all. Even when they were discovered, they didn't let it tear them apart. I'm super super excited for Daddy Ethan's story next!

The Princess is a great addition to the terrific Breakfast at Bennett's series. Taylor is the youngest Bennett brother, and he's infatuated with each of his older brothers' best friends. Those best friends, Damon and Nash, are currently in a secret relationship, but they are each drawn to Taylor. These three are such a wonderful match!
I love that there is no drama between the three lovers. They just admit to their feelings and go for it. Taylor is still trying to figure out what he wants in life, but he knows he wants Damon and Nash there with him. Damon is a little more into cheesy shows of romance than Nash, but they are both great at showing how much they care.
The only moments of angst come from Taylor's brother (and Nash's best friend) Colby, who leads with his feelings more than his brain, and from a former school mate Taylor wants to help escape a bad situation. I trust that we will learn more about that situation in the next book. I have my suspicions regarding who will find love next time, and I can't wait to find out if I'm correct. Regardless, I look forward to meeting up with all of these incredibly likable characters again.

Liked but didn’t love

I was really excited for this book. I wanted to see Taylor get his HEA and to learn more about Damon and Nash. It was just not what I expected.

First… I couldn’t get the mismatch between the cover model and Taylor out of my head. I’m a visual person.

The way that everything came together was ok but something about the dynamic just seemed off. I know Nash and Damon were together first and they welcomed Taylor with open arms but it all just seemed to come out of nowhere.

I know the family is super close which is what drew me into the series to begin with but Colby… that guy just irks me. Yes I understand his reasoning. However, the conflict in the story is his fault and it isn’t even between the MCs.

I’m also guessing here that the introduction of Mickey has something to do with a future book. Or at least I hope it does.

Finally, the missed editing drove me crazy. It’s simple typos that should’ve been caught. Little things but they distracted me enough that I’d have to read sentences a few times before I moved on.

I really did enjoy most of the book. It’s just not what I expected. But I’m looking forward to Ethan’s book.

The baby of the family finally gets his story!

Taylor’s really coming into his own. He’s caring and passionate and hella stubborn! He’s been interested in Damon and Nash for a while now, especially after catching them kissing. But he thinks it’s just a fantasy.

I love Nash and Damon, they are downright perfect for each other. They have such tenderness for each other and are so good at communicating. And we finally learn why they’ve been sneaking around!

The connection between all three was really special, and I love how they navigated the relationship. Making sure they all felt heard and seen. They are quite precious all three together and they all maintain their identities and individual needs. It’s sweet how well they work together.

EM Denning does a lot of things well, but what she does brilliantly is write MMM. I love Nash and Damon's relationship and openness, which leads them to separately and together pursue Taylor... as a polyamorous established couple who talks through things and shares even more...

This throuple comes together so organically, and the beautiful synergy is only thrown off by Taylor's over protective brother...

I've loved Taylor since we first met him, and I love that with each book in this series, his confidence in himself and his needs grows so that when he's ready to explore a relationship, it's with the knowledge of what he needs and wants at the forefront.... I love that Taylor doesn't back down from his brother or what he wants.

I'm very excited to see where this series goes in the finale - with Mickey's character... and hopefully the final Bennett to find love, the boys Dad - age gap, second chance romance for the win?

I absolutely loved this book! Taylor is such a lovable character and has been throughout the whole series! He brings such warmth and joy to this story and he is so perfect for Nash and Damon! I loved these guys so much! I adore the fact that Nash and Damon are part of the Bennett family and are so close! This story flowed so smoothly and the relationships were like puzzle pieces slotting together perfectly! A couple small hiccups but it all came from love and protectiveness. This was an amazing read and fantastic addition to the series and I did not want to put it down! I very highly recommend the whole series! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book

Amazing! EM did it again. That's exactly how a new person should enter in an established relationship. Our MCs communicate, and they value every couple of their triad. But most of all, our MCs thrive in the relationship because they can be their true selves. Taylor's decision about not moving with Nash and Damon right away is *chef's kiss*: our princess needed time and space to be himself, and in this case the author made the right call.
I really want to know more about Mickey, so if he doesn't end with Ethan, I really hope he gets his own happy ending.

Loved!

I absolutely loved this book! Taylor has been a favorite character since the first book in the series. I enjoyed reading about his fascination with plants and his love for makeup and pretty clothes. Damon and Nash are Taylor's brother's best friends so they have been a part of the Bennett family for many years. I liked that we got to know more about them and their backstories. I also liked all of the dates and special moments between these three. I can't wait for the Bennett's dad's book.

In this book the youngest Bennett brother, Taylor, finds mutual love in a MMM relationship with Damon and Nash.
The dynamic between these main characters was believable. Each of them have distinctive personalities which naturally mesh well together.
I loved that Taylor, with the help of Milo, has become comfortable with his gender fluidity. Damon and Nash are supportive of each other and
Taylor. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

This is a modern romance, the third book in a series that should be read in order! You have two friends in a not so secret romance with each other and the youngest Bennett brother is crushing bad on them both. I thought this was a fascinating story in how the author got the three of them together! I could see them together in my mind, it makes sense. It was well written and I am enjoying this author’s writing!

I love reading about Taylor and his HEA!! He is fabulous and deserves two men to treat him like the princess he is. Damon and Nash are the perfect men for the job. Taylor has been a bright light throughout this series. I was happy when he started owning his identity. I love the way Damon and Nash treasure him the way he deserves.

The Princess is the third book in the Breakfast at Bennet's series and I think it's the best of them though they are all so good. This is a secret relationship, best friends little brother book about Taylor, Damon, and Nash. Damon and Nash were already an established couple when they add Taylor to the relationship it just becomes right.

Lighthearted sweet poly romance! Nash, Damon, & Taylor mesh in the best way. They each have something that the others need. They’re super supportive and sweet together. I just wish the spice hadn’t dominated this book. I wanted more on page dates and sweet romantic moments, the spice was great but I felt the amount hindered their relationship development on page.

Taylor is the youngest Bennett brother, and has long had a crush on Nash and Damon, both the besties of his brothers. When he catches them in an impassioned kiss, he’s both turned on and heart broken.

Imagine his surprise when one of them asks him on a date, and he finds out that he’s not keeping this a secret from his other boyfriend! While the three aren’t ready to share everything with the Bennett family, and their friends, they enter into a throuple.

Things are going well… until they aren’t. Taylor finds himself drowning in secrets, his family being overly nosy and involved in his business, and wanting to branch out on his own.

I enjoyed these three as a couple. You could see them learning to navigate something so new. Damon and Nash had been together for a while, and introducing a third person lead to some uncertainty. I liked how the author navigated this, and allowed them to explore that they were all at different stages with one another. They fell in love at different speeds, but addressed the importance of communication with one another. They thrived because of their communication.

The biggest issues came from the outside, when someone that didn’t have the full scope of the situation stuck their nose in. Despite this, they all managed to work through everything together.
