It's getting better and better
This series just keeps improving and holding me in it's bubble. The love triangle is so well written with twists and turns until you end up swapping which 'team' you're in with a turn of the next page. The overarching story is really well thought out and immersive as well as the storylines for each book, which I think are going to somehow interweave at some point. If they do, my mind will officially be blown!
Can't wait for the next one!

There hasn’t been a moment of rest for Cricket Jones since she became involved with the supernatural world, and that isn’t about to change. With a lone dragon shifter in town, Cricket is definitely on edge. As she struggles with missing her best friend, her daughter Mac’s teenage rebellion, and her changing relationship with Zeb, Cricket must continue her work for the MVA.
Holy freaking cow!!! I’m completely obsessed with this world that Shauna Jared has created. “Burning Secrets” was witty and fast paced, and I enjoyed every second of it. I’ve always loved Cricket’s sarcasm and her sassy nature. As for Joey, I really loved how sweet and protective he was of Cricket.
With Zeb, there were certain moments when I wanted to strangle him and/or throw my kindle at the wall, but I managed to restrain myself. Grandma Betty as always was such a character, and her boyfriend Gus cracks me up!!! I can’t wait to see what happens next!!!

Burning Secrets is book 3 in the Nashville Immortal Series. It continues with Cricket now trying to find out why all the supernaturals are coming to Nashville, as well as the love triangle - I still don't know who's team I'm on!
Book 3 welcomes a new mysterious dragon shifter, who everyone loves but Cricket has other feelings.
In book two Zeb the other love triangle participant was missing, this time, however, it's Joey's turn to be missing - something I don't understand, maybe I missed it.
The sass and action in this book is on par with book two and the love triangle sizzles even more.
I honestly thought the series finished on book 3 but after reading that cliffhanger I really have no clue how it’s all gonna play out. It certainly sets up book 4 perfectly and I'm definitely going have to find out what happens.

Well, I liked this series before but now I love it!
Cricket is such a likeable character, so funny and her sarcasm makes me giggle every time. If you had a favourite hero you will be or happy or your head will be scrabbled just like mine. The dragon shifter story was phenomenal (said someone who isn’t a fan of paranormal romances). And let’s not forget about a grandma and Gus — they never disappoint.
As always Shauna delivered an amazing book and I can’t wait for more!

Book three continues with the arc of finding out why all the supernaturals are coming to Nashville. The focus now, a mysterious dragon shifter, who Cricket doesn’t trust a bit, but everyone else seems to love. And as Cricket learns more about her revealer abilities, new supernatural insights are also brought to light. This time, however, Joey is out of town, and Cricket is trying to make a relationship with Zeb work, despite still having feelings for Joey, who is waiting patiently in the wings. Cricket’s daughter, Mac, is angsty as ever, and is getting more involved in the supernatural world without even realizing it. And her grandma and Gus at the assisted living facility are providing their own brand of humorous drama this time around.
The action level in this book is on par with book two, with a decent level of danger and intrigue surrounding the dragon shifter and what he is involved in. The love triangle heats up even more, as the stress of their jobs and lives weighs in on Cricket and Zeb, and Joey only wants to support Cricket even though he has to be out of town. But Joey doesn’t quite go MIA like Zeb did in book 2, so that dynamic is different this time around. I still don’t have a front runner in this triangle, and if I’m being honest, given some of the developments, it just keeps getting better, and I really have no clue how it’s all gonna play out in the end. It could still go either way, as far as I’m concerned. Makes it all the more interesting as the overall story unfolds, and the cliffhanger at the end sets up a VERY interesting arc for book four that I’m definitely looking forward to!

I ended up hating the FMC in this book after rereading it. Her excuses again for her relationship status and her cheating just became unbearable and annoying. The plot didn't move along and she hardly ended up doing anything to find out why the supernatural were relocating to Nashville. Don't write it off, who knows maybe this might be a book for you if you like love triangles, mystery, with paranormal creatures mixed in.

Burning secrets continues with Cricket being assigned the task of why all the supernatural beings are relocating to Nashville. Including one new dragon shifter named Aiden Rhys, who she doesn't trust at all, but everyone else seems to love.
Cricket continues to try and figure out where her heart is while trying to work on her relationship with Zeb meanwhile still missing Joey, who is in Kentucky being an Intermin Alpha for his old pack. As well as having to deal with Mac becoming more involved in the supernatural world without even knowing. And proving just how far she is willing to go to protect those she loves from harm.
There is a perfect amount of danger and mystery revolving around Aiden's reason for being in Nashville and we are left with a cliffhanger wondering what will happen next. And a comedic relief from Grandma and Gus, her mentor and her grandmother's boyfriend, who reveals something dangerous to Cricket at the end of the book.

Cricket continues with her love triangle between Zeb and Joey while trying to figure out the extent of her Revealer powers. Cricket has really captured me. She is so protective of the people that she loves. She’s willing to take everyone’s anger as long as they are all safe. The betrayal she encounters has made her stronger and more self assured.
We meet some new shifters in this book. Why have they come to Bitter End? And what will they leave with?
Cliffhanger how cruel you are to me!! We have so many unanswered questions at the end of this book that I can’t wait to read the next one!
