Short. Hot but Cute Read.

When I saw the cover, I fell in love, and when I read the synopsis I needed to read the book asap. So when it finally arrived I couldn't wait to get through the other books I was reading in order to finally find our what happens in "Angel in Chains".
Truthfully, I was skeptical because it is a short book and having to read about angels may mean that the story would be rushed, but it was a great surprise. I liked how the story starts off from when the moment Inez meets Aledyan - the chained up angel that has been living in a cave for centuries.
As they meet, Inez finds out that Aledyan has not been able to escape the cave because of a curse put on him by a high warlock though there is only one solution that can set him free. I don't want to spoil anything so I will only say that once an angel finds "the one" for them, the one girl they fall in love with there is little one can do to stop them from being together.
The story does develop really nicely and we do get to meet and understand the main characters more clearly as the story moves forward. However, I did find it that because it was a short novel (for my opinion anyway), I felt as if it was rushed in how Inez and Aledyan's relationship developed. Don't get me wrong, I really loved Aledyan as the main male character - funny, confident, very caring and protective, as well as Inez for being strong minded and a very strong female character. But the reason I gave this book a 3.5 is because I felt something was missing...
I know the cave was the major setting for most of the story but reading through what happens once they meet and develop their relationship, how they fall in love with each other, I just wanted for something else to happen. I did read the book in a matter of days, it was addictive, I did really like the characters but I just wanted to read more. Maybe that's selfish as I prefer reading longer novels but I just thought that maybe the characters could have talked more about their lives...their embarrassing secrets...their friend and families.. and anything else that would have made me connect with them even more.
Nonetheless, I still liked the ending and cannot wait to find out what will happen in the next book - "Angel in Chains" was addictive if anything! Nellie C. Lind has great writing and a style that long to have as an aspiring author, so thank you for having written a really lovable story :)

ANGEL IN CHAINS is an absorbing paranormal romance/ erotica that ‘gets under your skin’ and leaves you shaken! The intensity between Inez and Aledyan is magnetic; as though it was destiny or fate that had brought them together. The beautiful hardback book that I was sent from the author is stunning, and will appeal to fans of JR Ward and Larissa Lone. With a cast of deeply beguiling characters; each uniquely distinctive in terms of alluringly evil or otherwise were just fantastic. As you enter the cave and encounter an Angel in chains, nothing is ever the same again…
At 202 pages I found this a quick read despite being packed with delicious detail and sinfully seductive *adult scenes. Deeply beguiling and wrought with fiery passion, Nellie C Lind’s outstanding novel is an addictive read and definitely my ‘guilty pleasure’. I was desperate to find out what would happen and if true love really does conquer all! It is heartrending tale of deception versus sincerity and lust versus love that speaks from the soul, tugging at the strings of emotion. I am most impressed by Nellie C Lind’s phenomenal paranormal novel that had me glued to the pages throughout, pulling me into the tantalizingly tempting storyline with such dynamic drama. Sat on the edge of my seat in suspense throughout, I was kept guessing right up to the very end…and what an end! The stunning conclusion to such an unforgettable story was pure perfection, and so I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

Given To Me For An Honest Review
Nellie C. Lind has done it again with Angel in Chains (Forever Yours Book 1). This book is such a page turner I didn't think my kindle could handle it. It is about Inez who has lost her trust in men. On a walk in the woods she comes upon a cave. Curiosity takes over and she decides to go in to see what's there. When she enters it she finds Aledyn, an angel in chains. She is the only one who can save him. Does she decide to do it or doesn't she? This book is a real page turner and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Once you begin reading it you will not put it down. I sure didn't until I finished it. This is truly NEED to read. I gave it 5 stars but it truly deserves more than 10+. I highly recommend it to everyone. I anxiously wait more from Nellie C. Lind.

A good story that had lots of potential. I love angel stories but this one was just okay for me. I wanted more but it fell short in several areas. The story happened quickly and I couldn't really connect. I wanted more of showing the story rather than telling. The characters were alright but I wish there had been more depth.
All and all not a bad start to what could be an awesome story.

This the first book I've read by this author. It's the first in a new series and I hope there will be more! I really enjoyed this book, it a Hot Angel and I can't resist Hot Angels!! It's not a long story but it is very good. I'll be looking forward to the next one!

The blurb covers the main summary to the story so there isn't much for me to say.
Overall, it was a short, romantic and sweet read. This is an erotica read so it does provide a simple, straight forward and steamy context.
However, it did seem rushed. For a cover and blurb that stands out I was expecting more to it.

Really amazing story. It has an odd way to start and I was amazed that Nellie managed to write such a great story with the characters put in a cave for almost the hole story. I was hooked from the start. The story is well written and is an easy read. Now I am looking forward to the next part to find out more about the loose ends. No cliffhanger in the end, but still there are things one wonder about and hope will be answered in the next part.

This is a very well-written book although this genre is really not my favourite. For me it was too slow in the beginning and quite boring. At the end the pace quickened and it became quite thrilling. The three star is the average og the slow and thrilling parts. If you like this genre I suspect you will love this book.

Too short. It was different, as in, it was pretty self-contained and in one place for most of the time but I'd rather have seen more. More! More of the angels, more of how he got captured in the first place. More of everything.

From the blurb, I thought this story had promise, but it was kind of disappointing. I also felt that the writing did not always flow properly. I doubt that I will bother with the sequels.

En underhållande historia som jag kastade mig över så fort jag kom hem från bokmässan, där jag även köpte den. Lättläst och fängslande läsning som gav mersmak och längtan efter en fortsättning.
