If I could vaguely describe this comic, it would be “pick-me-up.” So adorable, and hilarious.

My thoughts:
I had the absolute best time while reading. I giggled, I chuckled, I laughed my ass off, and I smiled the whole time. The play on Scrooge strip was amazing. I wish this had dialogue (because it would be even more perfect), but even without, the execution and illustrations were amazing. I love that this wordless comic is accessible to everyone.
This was my first comic from this author, but it will definitely not be my last read from her. Kudos on this brilliant release.
I’m so sad this is over, but I will definitely be purchasing for days I need a pick-me-up.

Humorous and wordless comic strips about a group of monster friends.
Zom, Theo, and Arianna -- a zombie, werewolf, and vampire, respectively -- just hang out doing normal friend stuff, but with, you know, detachable limbs, a tendency to roll in the grass, and an inability to be reflected in mirrors (so many mirror and photograph jokes!).
The gags are well executed for the most part, though a few are thinkers to be deciphered carefully and a couple outright stumped me.
The characters are charming enough that I'd like to see them developed in some continuity, but these strips stick to a joke of the day format, and it seems like nearly half of them star characters other than the central trio.

The lack of words doesn’t take away from the storytelling - in fact, it enhances the experience, letting the art speak volumes.

Since this is a collection of slice-of-life and short adventure comic strips rather than a single, continuous story, the “plot” is more about the individual narratives within each strip. Each comic presents a self-contained moment - sometimes funny, sometimes heartwarming, and occasionally with a little eerie charm. There’s a wonderful balance of lighthearted fun and supernatural mischief, and while there’s no grand overarching storyline, the interconnected world makes the comics feel cohesive. This was kinda cute, but a lot of it made no sense. I love silent graphic novels and I want more of them, but this one didn’t do the trick. It was a bunch of random comic strips thrown together, and the humor wasn’t it. A few of them were kinda funny but I never actually laughed out loud during the entire book and most of the comic strips made no sense at all. I didn’t get what the punch line was supposed to be for most of them. Anyway, good idea, not so great result.

This comic is definitely not my usual dramatic isekai but the feel-good story with comedic plot twists and adorable, expressive art is really nice. Plus, it's a pretty quick read and with every chapter something new happens so you'll never get bored because you never would've guessed what's happening next.
There's no dialogue in this and the story is told by the art itself through body language, facial expressions, context, etc. The best part is that I find background characters having their own little scenario going on which was equally as funny and cute.
To sum it up, it's just really good. You just can't go wrong with reading it ( • ̀ω•́ )✧

I didn’t expect to enjoy Zomcom'ics as much as I did. I usually don’t find these kinds of comics funny, but this one had me smiling to myself. The humour is clever and unexpected in the best way.
The art style? Loved it. It’s unique and fits the vibe of the story perfectly. I loved all the characters and their designs, my personal favourite was Medusa. Every panel that had her, I loved.
If you’re looking for something funny and fun to read, definitely give Zomcom'ics a shot.

This is a Hoot!
While this is not a story, it's more of a snippet of glances at the life of Zom. I loved how even with the silent formatting, the reader can tell how and what is going on, and it's humorous and enjoyable!
You can tell the distinctly distinct personalities of the characters via their facial expressions, body language, and quirky actions!
The artist drew all the comics and pictures perfectly, and they are colorful! This is AMAZING!!
I loved the supernatural characters and setting of all the comics!
I adored the whole spooky aspect, that is full of charming little comics! While this is the first thing that I have viewed or read from this author this is not the last one I am sure! I'm already looking for the next installment or more comics from this author!

Silent comics are always so cool, and shows again & again how you don’t need many words (or any words) to tell a story!

I couldn't have been happier to learn that ZomCom was getting published! ZomCom'ics collects over 200 pages of this comic collection, and I have to say - rereading it was an absolute delight.
ZomCom'ics is a slice-of-life webcomic largely told in nonverbal form. Each scene follows one (or all) of the characters as they go through their daily lives, with a slight paranormal twist.
I cannot stress enough how endearing and funny this comic series is. I used to read it on Tapas all the time, and frankly, I've always believed that it deserves more attention. So many of the pages made me burst out laughing, even the second time around!
Despite not talking all that much, it's easy to get attached to this band of odd little characters. Zom may have the funny bone of the group (when she hasn't lost her arm), but I feel like Theo is the heart and Arrianna is the brain. In short, they're a great group. Other characters make appearances to help round out the whole paranormal front.

Been following this comic online for years and years. Don't even remember how long. By now it feels like it's always been one of my favourites, because Emi can say so much in just one comic - without a single word! - that other creators have to use plenty of pages for. I love that! ❤️
Plus, the illustrations are really cool with a style that's easy to recognise. Super expressive, quirky, and cute.
I also love how the entire comic speaks to my nerdiness about supernatural creatures. I've always had a feeling of "This comic just gets me!", somehow. I feel so very right at home in it.
It speaks my language - once again, amazingly without words! - and it was such a happy, comforting feeling to have it on actual paper in my hands, reading it "IRL", so to speak.
The only thing that bothered me (a tiny, tiny amount) was that I felt like the comic about the gift of a portrait to the vampire should have come later into the album.
According to my memory it had been a thing for a while within the online comic that she was sad about not being able to show up in photos, so her friends got her the portrait painting as a very moving gift. Having that comic so early in the paperback, without previous context, was a bit of a shame. It packs a much harder emotional punch after the buildup. 🥲
But other than that, I have nothing but positive things to say about this comic. I have always recommend the online version to new acquaintances, if they like comics, and now I can dearly recommend this printed version too! 💖✨

This is a silent comic featuring three friends (and lots of side-characters) , a zombie, a werewolf, and a vampire. The collection features lots of day-to-day scenarios both fun and cute.
I absolutely adored the character designs in this. They were all so simple but worked so well. Since they have no proper "story" or "personality" so to speak I will be focusing on their design. And they were all stunning and perfectly executed. If you enjoy the "Monster prom" artstyle this will be up your alley. Also the use of expressions here was great.
The story itself is non-existent. This is entirely one-shot scenarios with no proper underlying story. if you want something more cohesive this isn't for you. For me, this worked well. A kind of "brainless" fun so to speak. But what it lacks in story it makes up for in interactions and dynamics between the characters.
I think this book could be read by anyone, but will more likely be a hit for a young adult to new adult audience. It is very silly and lacks "adult" themes. But as a silly adult, this hit for me.
I am giving this 4 stars. Very funny, gorgeous art, but I wish it lasted a little longer. It could be 500 pages and I would devour it.

A kind of "brainless" fun so to speak. But what it lacks in story it makes up for in interactions and dynamics between the characters.
I think this book could be read by anyone, but will more likely be a hit for a young adult to new adult audience. It is very silly and lacks "adult" themes. But as a silly adult, this hit for me.
I am giving this 4 stars. Very funny, gorgeous art, but I wish it lasted a little longer. It could be 500 pages and I would devour it.

ALL THE STARS
This comic is so amazingly funny and relatable. There isn’t any dialogue to go with the scenes, but it isn’t necessary with the way the author/artist portrayed each scene. It is truly a testament to how talented the creator is considering the emotion and humor is so clearly captured.
This isn’t a traditional story that follows a plot or narrative to keep your attention, but is instead a series of events that capture humorous moments in the lives of Zom, Ari, and Theo. And while some scenes don’t necessarily include one of these characters, they still follow the same theme.
What’s truly remarkable about this comic is the fact that it is so relatable to everyone, even if it is a “paranormal” version of the modern world, the situations are seemingly the same. What makes it even better is the inclusivity that is shown throughout the entirety of the comic. It’s truly amazing to see representation for just about everyone, and I’m sure that the creator will only continue to do so.

I was so drawn to the cover art of this graphic novel that I didn't bother learning anymore about it before jumping straight in. As a life long comic book/graphic novel reader my heart always does a little dance when I come across an indie release which is easily accessible to mainstream audiences. Zombies and comics though? What more could you want?
Well, to put it simply, we want more! More of this please!

The art style is glorious. With both human and zombie characters fitting into a one world seamlessly. The lack of dialogue/text throughout is just credit to the story telling and how beautifully each cell has been designed. I found myself laughing out loud and rushing off to find Emi Mena Garrucho's social media in hopes of enjoying more of their work.
I'll happily be recommending ZomCom'ics as it will easily appeal to any gender and any age. It was a true joy to read and I hope this is the start of a long series which will happily have pride of place on one of my bookselves.

I have been a passive follower of Emi’s Zom comics on her Instagram for a few years now. I honestly had no idea that she was planning to release the in a physical book, but I can say I’m super excited! These comics are very cute, well planned, and done in a style that reminds me a lot of the modern Saturday Cartoon styles of Adventure Time, Bee and Puppycat, and Steven Universe. They also have the charm of a Sunday comic strip, with plenty of jokes and gags that adults with literature and media backgrounds will understand.
There were some of my favorites from her series in here, but a lot that I hadn’t seen as well, which was nice! I think there is a lot of potential to grow and continue here. I like the lack of dialogue, but maybe someday a comic or series will have dialogue. There’s just so much charm and life (pun intended) in these characters, you can’t help but fall in love.

I love silent graphic novels, and this one is both charming and delightfully spooky. There are no words, yet the artist effortlessly conveys that these are fun, everyday moments in the characters’ lives. As a big fan of the slice-of-life genre, I appreciate how each comic is its own self-contained moment—it feels like peeking into dozens of mini adventures. Sometimes, you just want to enjoy something fun without overthinking it. This is a wonderful palate cleanser.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED THIS COMIC. It's full of hilarious 2-4 page stories or happenings. The main characters being 3 roomates, a zombie, a werewolf, and a vampire. I wasn't sure how this reading experience was going to go because it's wordless but it was so easy to follow, everything was communicated SO WELL just through the art. These characters and their hijinks had me cracking up the whole time. A lot of the stories start misleadingly and then we're shown that things aren't as we thought and its like "Whattt that was that the whole time haha" (not sure i explained that great but these were always funny as hell). I also loved the variety of supernatural/paranormal characters! They're were so many different types that surprised me, my favorites being the crow people and the woman who can turn into a tree. I also LOVED the art style and the facial expressions were *chef's kiss*. It also gives major Regular Show vibes in my opinion. But yes this was a banger. No complaints. 5/5 Stars.

ZomCom'ics is a wordless comic collection that is sure to have you laughing out loud as you experience each of the comics funny moments. Each of the comics strips telling a funny short story of the characters shenanigans and hilarious experiences.
I have no words to describe this book (aha). It's so much fun to give your own voice to what each of the characters is saying at any given moment.

Like reading a little webcomic in print, only there's very little to "read."

I honestly didn't know these characters had names until I finished the book and got to the back cover in my digital copy, but I didn't need that information to enjoy what I did out of this collection. These comics are fun, cute and light hearted. I love seeing a mix of fantastical characters and the highlights of how their existence could bring some levity to the day to day lives of those unfamiliar. Truly my only issue and it's not even a big deal is that the panels for each comic start on the right page and cause you to flip the page to see the ending. With these 4-5 panel enclosed stories it would be great to see the whole thing side by side together.

There’s so much representation in this, my heart feels so full. Amputee rep, queer rep, me being ripped off by misleading images on online purchases rep, me owning a white cat and black wardrobe and the chaos that ensues rep 💗

I picked this up because I loved the graphics and there is a lot of potential but I needed more than the snippets of stories. Maybe if the stories were more than a panel or two I would have enjoyed it more. I wanted a more cohesive story with character development and relationships. This just wasn't my cup of tea. Would I read another graphic novel by the author, absolutely.

I was fascinated by the idea of a wordless graphic novel, so I had to check this one out. It was definitely different.
This book is basically a bunch of short scenes that are only tangentially connected—the same characters appear throughout, but other than that the scenes are random. They don't form a coherent story, only offer readers multiple peeks into the life of three supernatural friends.
Interesting, different, and a quick read, but not really what I would consider a cohesive story. And, truth be told, I missed the text. However, I did find that the faster I paged through this one, the more I liked it, as the faster flipping between the scenes, created a fun sense of movement.

Este libro me llamó la atención cuando leí que no tenía palabras. Cuando encuentro algo así, me interesa de inmediato porque presenta un nuevo desafío lingüístico. El arte es lo más importante aquí, y esta no es la excepción. Divertida y graciosa, es una lectura ridículamente fácil que te hace reír con un sentido del humor absurdo, aunque a veces oscuro.

I was excited when I saw this comic on Net Galley as the cover instantly intrigued me. Plus, my daughter is currently into Disney Zombies and all things paranormal so I thought this comic would be lot of fun to look at together. It was a big hit as we looked through the comics and had fun seeing what the author was showing while also telling our own stories to go with the pictures. I think this will be great to look at many times as the illustrations are beautiful and convey a variety of day-to-day experiences and emotions. I think this would be a great pick for teachers as the pictures would be perfect writing prompts as they are relatable and entertaining.

I remember reading some of this comic on Webtoons a while back and really enjoyed coming back to it. The stories are charming and surprisingly expressive, especially considering there’s no dialogue—they manage to convey a lot just through visuals, which I found impressive. That said, as a single collected volume, I would’ve liked to see either longer standalone narratives or some kind of overarching connection between the individual stories. Of course, that’s just a personal preference. Overall, it’s a good read, and I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out when it officially gets released.

This book was such an enjoyable experience! Though it has no words, the story is beautifully conveyed through the artwork alone. It’s incredible how much detail, emotion, and expression are captured, allowing you to fully understand the narrative as the characters go about their everyday lives.

ZomCom’ics offers a quirky, enjoyable mix of short, silent stories set in a spooky urban fantasy world. With a diverse cast of characters, it blends dark humor with a touch of gore, creating an atmosphere that is both fun and slightly unsettling.
Though not a favorite of mine, I found it to be a highly entertaining read.
