Words like stardust Julia wolf

Tbh this is the only book I read in this anthology, of course I wanted it to be much longer but it still packed exactly what I needed

Marco a black (yes please) night club owner looking to diversify his assets goes to a recording studio to check it as a potential investor.
Selena a talented song writer with a stutter, their connection was instantaneous. One night together leads to more.
Epilogue a year later living together and he proposed
The end 😭

********He called her mama, the way my toes curled everytime he did that is the reason for my high rating 🤭

I gave short reviews for each story in the book.

Chords of Destiny by Kaylene Winter
This was an incredible story of music and fate. I loved the way Alek jumped in to help Hope. A true love story to tell their grandchildren.

Song for Me by Chelsea Bliss
I loved what a quick and cute story this was. When Lucia brought Maddy home from Christmas at the end was the icing on the cake.

Song in Silence by Stacey Marie Brown
This story was everything and more. I had full chills when I read the last paragraph. Echo was one amazing deaf drummer. I love how the author incorporated a deaf character and the use of ASL.

Wild Hope by Mari Carr
This was a lovely story. I enjoyed hearing the truth about how hard Andi worked. It felt like such a true story with such an amazing ending. I loved the instant connection Andi and Joel had.

A Dirty Proposal by Jaime Diamond
Jude had the most amazing proposal. It was the cutest story based on the proposal.

Catch My Heart by Helen Hardy
A dangerous, action packed story still involving music. I loved it!

The Night We Met by Jillian Liota
Such a heartwarming beautiful story. I really adored the characters and their connection.

Rock Encore by Kat Mizera
Another lovely story dealing with heart break and second chances. Such a great ending to this story.

Eyes on You by Layla Reyne
The love these two husbands had for each other was amazing. You could tell they have been through it all together.

Forever Mine by M. Robinson
A sweet high school romance. This was the first story that the characters were not singers or in a band. It was a nice break to have in between the other stories.

Connected by Becca Steele
I loved how Jax and Curtis met. They were completely different but almost the same. They both played in bands, but Jax was famous and Curtis wasn’t.

Idolyze by Rachel Van Dyken
One of my favorite ones so far! I just loved this story and the instant memories and connection the characters had after a long time apart.

The Road To You by Meredith Wild
From singing on the road to finding a rich man who will make you stay in a small town.

Words Like Stardust by Julia Wolf
Another wonderful story where love conquers all while still including music.

Wow ... So many amazing authors with stories in one place..... What more can you ask for?

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all these stories, not just those written by some of my favourite authors, but also those by some new to me authors which has in turn added to my ever growing TBR list.

Grab a drink, make yourself comfortable and settle down to enjoy this collection of delights.

Highly recommended.

I loved this collection of stories that mostly revolve around the music industry in some way. There was one that didn't fit that mold so I'm curious if it was a set up for a bigger read. The stories have heart, a great flow, and while some are complete, others give us a glimpse at what could be more or introduced other characters that I'd love to get to know. They are all strong, lovable characters, perfect in their little bits of the world. It's a great read to warm you up on a cold, snowy day!

Chords of Destiny by Kaylene Winter

This story gives us a talented musician, working to live and play her music, and a man that loves to listen to her play. Alek is a protector and steps up when needed to help Hope. I enjoy the connection, the build of their friendship and how that turns into more in such a quick read. I loved them.

Sing For Me by Chelle Bliss

I love Lucca and Maddy. They've been friends, they seem to maybe have been tip toeing around each other and the feelings they've been hiding. I enjoyed the connect they have, the shared love of music and their story had me smiling.

Song In Silence by Stacey Marie Brown

Oh my, you can feel the how intense things are between Drix and Echo. I loved Echo and my heart twisted for her and her bandmates. The writing pulled me right into their world!

Wild Hope by Mari Carr

Joel and Andi are living opposite lives and getting to know a bit about them had me wanting more of them. Andi is all heart, talented, and doing everything she can to help her younger brother. I loved this!

A Dirty Proposal by Jaine Diamond

Jude and Roni's story introduced us to a group of close friends that I'd love to get to know. It's a great quick read in what feels like a much larger story.

Catch My Heart by Helen Hardt

Gunnar and Blaire are tense, they are both very talented but not in the same music genre, which causes a bit of friction there. We get some danger with this read that kicked things up a bit. Loved these two!

The Night We Met by Jillian Liota

Oh my heart! I really loved Madison and Scott. There's a deeper connection there that we get to dig into. It's a story I'd love to dig deeper and spend more time with them.

Rock Encore by Kat Mizera

Ross's story will touch any heart and gives you an understanding on why he just wants to be behind the scenes and doing what he needs to do. His pull to Wynter, her long time crush, and we get to see him work through what's been hurting him for so long. This is another story that has characters I'd love to get to know more about.

Eyes On You by Layla Reyne

OMG I absolutely love Gino and Bennett. I am familiar with this author and knew some of the other characters that were brought into this great story. They have been together for decades and their rock star life is ready to go in a different direction. I enjoyed getting to dig into them and how close and connected that they are. Perfect!

Forever Mine by M. Robinson

This one is a bit different from the others I've read so far. It's set in high school with Hayley and Joshua's unrequited crush, and that protectiveness of his coming out. They are sweet together.

Connected by Becca Steele

Jaxon and Curtis had a way to grab my heart and pull me right in to their world. I enjoyed getting to know them, the secrets that Jaxon was hiding, wanting to move on from his past, and how those ups and downs played out in their story. It's a great read!

Idolyze by Rachel Van Dyken

This story gives us Lyric and Hills. It's a second chance with the one that got away. There's some a great connect with these characters!

The Road To You by Meredith Wild

Oh my, Baron and Cora are great. He's a protector, and he's pulled to Cora. I enjoyed their interactions, how he helps in his way and how that changes things for her. It's sweet, there are hints of heat, and would love a full story about these two.

Words Like Stardust by Julia Wolf

Marco and Selena are both in the musical world. There's just something about her that he can't let go of. They are steamy, connected, and this quick read gives us a lot in a small package!

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

I love anthologies because they usually raise money for a good cause, which this one does, and because they allow me to find new authors while also enjoying authors I already love. HOPE & HARMONY Anthology was brought to life by fourteen amazing authors, with proceeds going to MusiCares, which provides a safety net of critical health and welfare services to the music community in three key areas: Mental Health & Addiction Recovery Services, Health Services, and Human Services, this and more information can be found on their website.

I have read about three-quarters of the anthology and enjoyed each short story. What I will say is that they are quick reads, and they mostly center around music. I hope some of these stories will become longer books, maybe even novella length, to give us more of the character's background, which I missed in the short stories.

Music was my first love, my first hobby, my first way to escape from a dark traumatic past I’ve been through. I found music before I found books, however I have the same amount of love for music as I do reading. It’s gotten me through so much and I will continue to seek comfort in both… When I find a book based on music, you bet your ass I am picking it up and reading it and when I saw the list of authors in this anthology I was sold. The only author I hadn’t read before was Julia Wolf.

I enjoyed this. It was a mixture of beautiful, sweet and somewhat steamy stories. There’s a little something for everyone with an awesome list of tropes and romantic stories laced in with music and amazing emotional connections, banter that I couldn’t get enough of! Loved this anthology.

Romance and Music. What more could you ask for in one book?

This was a beautiful Anthology that combined all our favorite romance tropes into 14 short stories. Every single story had loveable characters, a plot that either tugged at my heart strings or had me kicking my feet and smiling at the words infront of me.

It was so easy to read a story before bed or binge it while waiting for my son after school. I was able to read familiar authors, and discover more that I hadn't known previously. I ended up having more than a handful of favorite stories that I know I will end up going back to frequently when I need that palate cleanser.

This book is absolutely beautiful, it supports @musicares which is a wonderful cause, and if you love short, heartfelt Rockstar romances, or slow jazz and beautiful melodies, you're going to want to pick this one up because there Is a perfect vibe for everyone.

Hope and Harmony is out now everywhere.

Thank you so much @musicares, @pageandvine, @luvbooksclub for this beautiful book and pr package. I absolutely loved it and I can't wait for everyone else to read it to!

This anthology is perfect for anyone who loves music. All of these stories show hope and how music can heal you and make you feel things that nothing else can.

Each author brought their own signature style of writing creating stories that were intense or uplifting. This anthology captures the essence of how music amplifies feelings creating the best reading experience for readers. And the romance in these stories were top notch! This book has something for everyone.

CHORDS OF DESTINY
BY Kaylene Walker
Hope has a passion for music so busking is what she does. Alek is a game coder who has a huge crush on Hope. An incident happens and Alek comes to the rescue. It’s short and sweet but so endearing.

SING FOR ME
BY Chelle Bliss
Lucca is a songwriter with a crush on Maddy, a singer. They help each other by working on a song together and she helps him find his voice. A super sweet short story.

SONG IN SILENCE
BY Stacey Marie Brown
Echo a deaf drummer, is having trouble picking up on cues since a former bass guitarist passed. Drix, a former rival joins their band The Mental Breakdown to fix their sound. They both have a shared past but overcoming it is difficult. Favorite quote: “You are my song in silence.”

WILD HOPE
BY Mari Carr
This grumpy/sunshine trope is so cute! And AGE GAP! Joel is a music producer who happens to stop in a conscience store where Andi works. Shes working three jobs to support her family—alcoholic mother and younger brother. She only wants her younger brother to have a better chance at life than she does. Joel keeps running into her. Can he change her life entirely?

A DIRTY PROPOSAL
BY Jaine Diamond
This was a cute proposal! I now want to read the Dirty series by this author!

CATCH MY HEART
BY Helen Hardt
Opera and rock and roll? Who knew that would pair well together?! I loved this short story.

THE NIGHT WE MET
BY Jillian Liota
Madison gets attacked and is in a coma for three weeks. Scott-the man who found her unconscious in an alley, rescues her and takes her to the hospital. I couldn’t get enough of this story. So heartwarming and I wish there was more!!

ROCK ENCORE
BY Kat Mizera
This is a heartwarming story how one man finds his passion for music again. The ending was everything.

EYES ON YOU
BY Layla Reyne
The love between two husbands gets rekindled into a better love. You can tell they really love each other!

FOREVER MINE
BY M. Robinson
Such a quick and cute story about highschoolers finding love.

CONNECTED
BY Becca Steele
I loved how Jax and Curtis met. They both played in a band where Jax was famous and Curtis wasn’t. So different yet so similar.

IDOLYZE
BY Rachel Van Dyken
The connection after being apart was so special. I loved this story.

THE ROAD TO YOU
BY Meredith Wild
Small town love is one of my favorite tropes. Going from singing on the road to small town in this was cute!

WORDS LIKE STARDUST
BY Julia Wolf
Love beats everything else in this story along with a touch of music!

So many of these had me wanting more! Short stories are usually not my favorite thing to read because I’m a reader who wants longer series but taking a break from reading long novels and reading this was exactly what I needed. Music brings people together and creates love. Music actually is one of the reasons I bonded with my husband instantly! So reading this was joyful.

Hope and Harmony is every rockstar lover's dream come true, overflowing with a brilliant combination of stories from some of the best selling authors in this genre. With heartfelt romance and the addictive lure of music, they stir emotions and melt hearts with swoonworthy moments to savor and remember. Hope and Harmony left me with a heart full of love for the unique characters portrayed here in these stories, where new authors were found and old favorites continued to wow me. After all, once bitten by the rockstar romance bug, there is no going back from this fascinating world that music plays such a big part of.

ARC reviews for Kaylene Winter and Jaine Diamond's contibutions to this anthology are below.

♡ Chords of Destiny- Kaylene Winter

A tender, sweet fairytale- like romance blooming between shy coder, Alek, mesmerized by talented singer/songwriter/guitarist, Hope, who busks near his office on any given day. Fate might have brought them together in unexpected ways, but will destiny take the wheel from there, steering them toward a happily ever after where magic happens and dreams really do come true? I loved these characters and how they seamlessly connected to another of this author's books. The cameo appearances from Z and Fee felt like a fun, surprise bonus that I really enjoyed.

♡ A Dirty Proposal- Jaine Diamond

Jaine Diamond's fans will lose the minds when a certain someone, not used to the spotlight, plots a special surprise for the woman who's owned his heart forever. Everything seems to happen in slow motion on this particular night, during this tour stop in the Dirtyverse, but all hearts were singing and swooning in the end, including mine. I was thrilled to read this little slice of rock and roll romance heaven between these two intense soulmates.

♡ Hope and Harmony, a music romance antholgy, supports MusiCares.

"Helping the humans behind the music because music gives so much to the world."♡

My thanks to Kaylene Winter and Jaine Diamond, along with their amazing teams for providing me with an early copy of their stories in this anthology to read and review.

Connected by Becca Steele

I solely bought this anthology to read Becca’s short story! It’s set in the LSU world series she has and since I love that series, I couldn’t not read this one. Especially when we see some familiar faces! Connected follows Curtis and Jaxon. Curtis is in the band 2Bit Princes as the drummer and has been seeing this cute guy in his music store a few times now. Finally, the guy has the courage to come talk to Curtis and they immediately hit it off. But Jaxon hasn’t really opened up when it comes to what he was doing before he came to England. Jaxon needed a getaway and that was out of the spotlight. He was part of a music group in the US and when the band broke up, he just wanted out and figure out who he was after so many years in the spotlight. Then he meets Curtis and feels like he can finally be himself with someone. But he hasn’t told him exactly who he was yet. Something that could threaten to hurt this new relationship between them. Really cute story! And with any short story, I wish there was more! But I really loved Curtis and Jaxon’s connection. It was clear how much they clicked even when Jaxon hadn’t told Curtis everything about his past. But overall, really loved this!

Fourteen different authors came together for this music themed romance anthology supporting MusiCares. You'll get to read short stories from Chelle Bliss, Stacey Marie Brown, Mari Carr, Jaine Diamond, Helen Hardt, Jillian Liota, Kat Mizera, Layla Reyne, M. Robinson, Becca Steele, Rachel Van Dyken, Meredith Wild, Kaylene Winter, and Julia Wolf. These stories cover a range of plots, character types, love interests, music interest, ages, and feelings.

This collection was so fun to read. It was a combination of authors I've read before with some I hadn't. This felt like a great way to sample are variety of authors. Several of these stories had me wondering if they were a part of larger worlds and had me craving more. I'll definitely be doing some deep diving into new-to-me authors to read even more.

Three years ago, I had a dream of gathering some of my favorite authors and writing a collection of short music-related romances in an anthology to benefit a charity so close to my heart, MusiCares.

Fast forward to this week, and my dream has become a reality thanks to Meredith Wild and Page & Vine books who agreed to publish the book. We gathered such an amazing group of authors, I hope you love reading each story as much as the authors loved writing them.

Thank you to everyone for all your support!

This anthology is full of very short and sweet stories. I debated on doing a breakdown on each one, but they are all so short and honestly, my review would just be roughly the same for most of them. Short and sweet.

I had a few favorites that I wished were longer because I didn't get enough of them.
Song in Silence by Stacey Marie Brown
Eyes on You by Layla Reyne
Connected by Becca Steele
Words Like Stardust by Julia Wolf

I love that this was a mix of relationship types as well. We get a variety. We also get everything from action to proposals so there is something for everyone. Lots of music and lots of love.
This is a wonderful anthology and one of the few that I have read where none of the stories were a miss for me. I genuinely enjoyed each one!

(I received an ARC for this book)

Trigger Warnings include:
mentions of the loss of loved ones, grief, therapy, cancer, pharmaceutical intervention, alcohol, smoking (with the intentions of quitting), absent and alcoholic parents, a character receives medical care and treatment after a physical attack, threats of violence and gunfire on page, robbery, assault on page, homelessness, the foster care system, discrimination because of deafness, MC romance related violence

It’s hard to love anthologies as a whole. Most include authors you’ve never read, and you don’t know if you’ll be stuck with tropes or content you don’t like. But this anthology? This one was easy to love! It had a little bit of everything. And it was always pulling my heartstrings! I did my best to give each one even a short and to the point review, as well as some quick information about each one. Some are full novellas, some are maybe pieces of full length books? (Honestly, I’m not sure) But it doesn’t matter because they all made me too happy to care!

Chords of Destiny by Kaylene Winter
busker
>new to me author

Alek kept going to watch Hope sing…but couldn't find the courage to talk to her. And when he becomes her knight in shining armor, he becomes a whole different person. Now she’s in his home. That’s the definition of going out of your comfort zone! But then her new comfort zone totally freaks her out! Until he helps her see that this new normal doesn’t have to be scary, he could be the start of something.

My Favorite Quotes:
• “We’re in this together.”

Sing for Me by Chelle Bliss
local bar scene singer + songwriter

Lucca and Maddy cross paths on a frequent basis and are in the same circles. They have a very obvious connection through music, and it’s easy to feel what that builds for them. He respects the hell out of her, and wants to do what he can to be of assistance. I absolutely would have loved more of them. But goodness this is a perfect tiny story! Just getting to experience them creating music together was plenty enough!

My Favorite Quotes:
• “I’m in this with you. There’s no turning back now.”
• “Don’t settle for someone who wants to change the things you love doing the most.”
• “If there’s one thing I know about you, it’s that you have a tender heart.”
• “Sing, baby.”

Song In Silence by Stacey Marie Brown

This one hurt. It’s got an abrupt ending though, so maybe it’s a part of something bigger? Echo, along with her bandmates, are struggling after a loss. And as is the music industry, the greed doesn’t take a break, so they have to fix “the problem”. Which only makes a new problem for Echo. Drix was not the answer…though being added to the band created some questions! He wanted a second chance, she would rather beat him with her drumsticks.

The universe did everything it could to get Joel and Andi into each other’s lives, including multiple meet cutes. Joel took the hint, and decided he would stop at nothing to be a part of her life! This was never about power or even the money, it was Joel hoping that his privilege to bring Andi at least a little bit of the success and happiness she deserved!

A Dirty Proposal by Jaine Diamond

>new to me author
>MC
>proposal, their HEA

This is connected…just not sure to what because this is a new author to me. But gotta be honest, I got exactly what I needed out of it! It was sweet, swoony, and there were hints at a rugged past.

Catch My Heart by Helen Hardt
vocalist + guitarist
>new to me author
>enemies to lovers

I had no idea that there was open mic night rivalries, and I am so glad this was how I learned about them! Gunnar and Blaire are both ready for their moment to shine, but they weren’t desperate enough to share the limelight…until they both decided ‘why not’. And then Gunnar became her knight in tight skinny jeans! And honestly, I was NOT prepared for where this story went, but I felt the twist coming in my bones! (Did not stop me from gasping though!)

Madison is taking every day one step at a time with her head held high (and I LOVED her!). Her and Scott have such a beautiful bond! The invisible string between them kept me on the verge of tears for most of the dang story! Scott appreciates her, and the chance the universe has given him. The same appreciation Madi has for finding him.

Rock Encore by Kat Mizera
rockstar turned manager + band member’s sister-in-law
>age gap
>secret identity

Ross has very happily fallen into his secret identity as a band’s manager after spending his younger years in the spotlight as a rockstar. There’s a chance this was connected to another series, maybe even has a fuller version, but I got everything I needed out of this as it was! While I loved the vulnerable connection between Ross and Wynter, I loved the underlying storyline of Ross finding healing and happiness with music.

This was the first one I read because this is one of my favorite authors and I was instantly greeted with heartbreak! I then proceeded to swoon SO hard over these characters! Bennett thinks there’s only one option moving forward, and Gino does everything he can to prove they can only be better together. Also, one of my favorite series/couples was mentioned because of a connection, and it seriously made me SO excited to keep reading this anthology! ALL the good vibes!

My Favorite Quotes:
• “I’ll get us back, I promise.”
• “Don’t ever apologize for how you feel. Especially not to me.”
• “There is no music for me without you.”
• “I can’t risk you.”

Forever Mine by M. Robinson
This is a high school romance, and that’s not something I enjoy reading so I skipped out on this one. But I hear nothing but good stuff about this author!

Connected by Becca Steele
drummer + former boyband member
>M/M bi-rep
>secret identity

Jax may or may not be hiding. And Curtis does more than find him, he sees him! Something no one else has ever managed to do! But that doesn’t make Jax any less scared to fully open himself up to what vulnerability truly means. The shyness was adorable, and I loved the instant connection between them. And when there were smirks involved, I was a goner!

My Favorite Quotes:
• “I just want to get to know you, but you don’t owe me anything, okay?”
• “I’m gonna take such good care of you.”
• “You don’t need to use any lines with me. I’m a sure bet.”
• “Whatever you need to do, I’ll support you through it.”

Idolyze by Rachel Van Dyken
songwriter producer + kpop singer
>second chance

Hills was ready for a new sound, Lyric was very unprepared for Hills to come back into her life. And even though there was some murky water, things were very much professional. And by professional, I mean they respected each other enough to have a conversation. (Nothing better than fabulous communication!)

My Favorite Quotes:
• “I’m not sure it’s worth having if you aren’t scared. I’d rather be afraid than not feel anything.”
• “I wanted to sweep you off your feet and ended up falling a bit harder.”
• “I’ve had a lot of time to think about you.”

Baron swooped right into protective mode when he heard Cora sing. She wasn’t ready to give up on her dreams, and he definitely wasn’t about to let her either. There was no saving needed, but Baron did everything he could to make things just a little bit easier for her, because he had the means to bring Cora’s dreams closer into reach.

My Favorite Quotes:
• “You can let the world turn you into an ugly, hateful person, or you can keep trying to look for the good. The seeds you water are the ones that grow.”

This was instant love for me. Marco was attracted to Selena’s power and success. And also, her very opposite personality. They were ready for one night, they weren’t prepared for what that night turned into. But the universe was ready though, because they were already set into motion!

The best way I can describe this anthology is that they each book is short and sweet they range from about 3 to 5 chapters. Each book has its own story to tell and each author has done it so well.📚

Within this anthology I was really excited to read a book that finished a series and I loved it, it was perfect. It had characters from different series that intertwined.

Overall, I enjoyed all of the stories but there were a few I really could have read an entire book about the characters.

Chords of Destiny
While this book starts with Hope going through a lot if struggles and trauma. But it also shows that if people are resilient, they can turn their life around. At the same time, thanks to Alek being such a nice guy, he is able to help in a way most people wouldn't. Who doesn't love a knight in shining armor? This was a nice and uplifting story.

Sing for Me
I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet story about Lucca and Maddy. These two musicians finally have a night to hang out together, help each other and it blossoms so beautifully. I loved the lighthearted banter between them.

Song in Silence
This story touched my heart deeply. I am a mother of two special needs boys with hearing loss. But the way music brings them happiness when they are unable to communicate like others is inspiring. The way Echo pushed herself to be the best, despite her disability and the way Drix showed up for her after a tough loss, it was amazing. I would love to read more of their story.

Wild Hope
Andi and Joel's chance encounter proves you should always be kind and put good into the universe, you never know who is watching. I loved the automatic chemistry between them and the protectiveness Joel felt for Andi. He saw her potential for so much so quickly. I would love to have more of their story.

A Dirty Purposal
If you follow Jaine's Dirty series, then you are all too familiar with Jude and Roni. They are a couple you want the best for because they have struggled so much to finally get their HEA. As always, it is nice to visit so many of our Dirty friends and this sweet story is the icing on the cake. I enjoyed being thrown right into the music scene, and the anticipation of the proposal!

Catch My Heart
It is one of the oldest stories, opposites attracting each other. The good thing is that usually means sparks! I love that it only takes one time for Gunnar & Blaire to sing together and they can't deny the sparks. Even though Blaire goes through something scary, I enjoyed this story very much.

The Night We Met
I love a good knight in shining armor story and the fact that Madison didn't know who saved her but she had something like music to identify him with is amazing. Scotty's song helped Madi and was the key to finding him. They feel an instant connection and I do believe that just happens for some people. I love their story.

Rock Encore
It is hard when we lose loved ones, especially in a tragic accident. Even though Ross "moved on" with his life, he had cut out a big portion of who he was. It is interesting when someone new can come along and quickly see how that person could be helped. I loved the way Wynter tried to guide Ross and encourage him. This was an entertaining read.

Eyes on You
It is hard not to become complacent when you have been with someone for such a long time. I was surprised Bennett decided a divorce was the only option to get out of their crazy Rockstar life. I was amazed at how quickly Gino changed everything to make sure B was happier and they could stay together.

Forever Mine
I believe in love at first sight. I believe you can find your soul mate at an early age. The way Joshua was able to hold out, wait for when he could finally approach Hayley was commendable. Hayley had a lot of self control for a teenage as well. I enjoyed how Joshua did a 180 and wanted to be romantic and protective of Hayley and it changed everything about it. This was an enjoyable, lighthearted romance.

Connected
Sometimes it is nice to have a fresh start. Move to another country and stumble into someone and have no preconceived notions. Jaxon needs to start over and not be harassed as a pop star and Curtis is helpful in this quest. I liked how they both love music and can enjoy their talents separately and be successful together.

Idolyze
I loved the connection between Lyric and Hills. It was sad that it didn't work out the first time but for good reasons... I enjoyed how hard Hills worked to prove to Lyric he was hers all along. This was a sweet story.

The Road to You
I really enjoyed Baron & Cora's story. Cora didn't let anything get her down and keep her down. She showed her pain through her music but had an optimistic look on life. Baron is always taking care of others, in his way and the chemistry between them was intriguing. Things happen for a reason and people are put in our path for a reason.

Words Like Stardust
I think Marco & Selena's story was sweet and uplifting. I do believe in love at first sight and sometimes there is a person who can bring you out of your shell so easily and feel like you have been friends forever. I liked the little twists and turns in their journey and their beautiful HEA.

This review will be a little different from my others, since it is an anthology so there were actually 14 different stories within it. I will talk about some common positives and negatives in the stories, but not every story fits these critiques.
I did receive the book as an ARC, so thank you to Victory Editing and Page & Vine for that, but all opinions are my own.

First, I found that the arrangement of the stories was a tad odd. This has nothing to do with the quality of writing or anything, but there were 3 stories in a row that were all extremely similar, then 2 stories that were both quite dramatic and different. In my opinion, these should have been separated. Because the first 3 were so close, they lost any feeling of uniqueness or memorability. The other 2 had the same darker vibe that didn’t quite match the rest of the stories, so having them together felt like a random dark patch. Also, I found the first story to be the worst, like to the point where I probably would have DNF’d it if it wasn’t an ARC, so having that closer to the end would’ve been better. It wasn’t a great start.

There was a common theme throughout most of the stories (which I’ve noticed isn’t uncommon in short stories as a whole), but a lot of them felt quite choppy. There weren’t many smooth transitions between times. There were a lot of “Three Months Later” for example, which isn’t inherently a bad thing but they often felt out of nowhere and like we missed a lot. This has to be hard to write with such limited space, but it did affect the reading experience. Another unfortunate common thread across the book was insta-love. In most of the stories, we witness the MCs meeting for the first time and falling in love. The problem is the speed at which the latter occurs. I think this is partially due to the lack of space and time these stories have to exist, but soooo many of the main characters say “I love you” and move in together/get married REALLY FAST. In a few of the stories, the characters already know each other and have history, and these felt a lot more realistic to me. It also felt like every character has thoughts about how their partner feels so different from everyone else after one or two conversations. It really only works for one story, and even then it’s still quite unrealistic. This isn’t a terrible thing and certainly doesn’t ruin the book, but it did take me out of many of the stories.

Now, I’ve been awfully negative so let’s talk about some positives! I loved the diversity in this book. In the 3rd story, our FMC is Deaf, and both MCs are fluent in ASL (which I’m currently learning, so I was super excited to see this). The 9th and 11th stories both feature a queer couple. In the 14th story, the MMC is a Black man and the FMC has a stutter. The MCs are all different ages, have different life experiences, different musical careers, and are in distinct musical genres, which helped the book not feel super repetitive. Going from opera singers to K-Pop stars to retired rock stars kept it interesting. Some of these stories also showcased the behind the scenes people in the music industry, from tour and band managers to producers and songwriters, which was fun as well.

The book overall was pretty cozy and relaxing, very hopeful, which I think we all could use in these times. The short story format definitely has its pros and cons, and overall, I found I either loved or strongly disliked these stories. If you like music at all, I think it’s a fun journey across the music industry, and the book supports MusiCares, a charity that supports the health and welfare of the music community (they’re helping a TON with the LA fires right now), so any sales are especially helpful right now.

Hope & Harmony is a multi-author anthology with music as the central theme of each short story included. (Well, save for one, but more on that later.) There are fourteen stories, and it was a good mix of different tales, with two M/M romances included, which always gets two thumbs from me.

While I usually save my rating for the end of my review, I'll just go ahead and give it at here at the beginning since this is more of an overall average--four stars. I have an individual rating and a brief review for each of the stories in the anthology, and they're arranged here in order of appearance.

Chords of Destiny by Kaylene Winter - three stars
Hope Kristiansen is a busker with a small following and Alek Bozic is a gaming coder who's got a crush on Hope. A lot of the development of their romance happens off-page, as opposed to experiencing it all alongside them.

Song for Me by Chelle Bliss - 3.5 stars
Madeline Hart is a club singer who has yet to hit it big and Lucca Bruno is a successful songwriter. This was super short yet somewhat engaging. I just wish we found out the outcome of the song they were working on together.

Song in Silence by Stacey Marie Brown - 4.5 stars
Echo is deaf and a drummer and songwriter for Mental Breakdown, while Hendrix Decker was a bass guitarist for The Velvet Kings who is the replacement for Ziggy, Echo's closest friend and a member of Mental Breakdown prior to passing away. I wish this was longer because it was seriously good and I wanted more from the story and this new-to-me author.

Wild Hope by Mari Carr - four stars
Andi Jennings works as a waitress but moonlights as a singer at Pat's Pub--plus has two other jobs--in Baltimore, and Joel McKenna is a music producer from New York in town for meetings. This age-gap romance definitely had me wondering how everything would play out between them going forward.

A Dirty Proposal by Jaine Diamond - four stars
Jude Grayson and Veronica Webber both work for a band called Dirty, he as head of security and her as part of the management team. They also share a son. This is an established couple who went through and overcame a lot, and it was entertaining to see Jude trying to put together a big surprise for Roni.

Catch My Heart by Helen Hardt - four stars
Blaire Cavileri is a classically trained opera singer, and Gunnar Healy is an aspiring rock musician. Theirs was an interesting story about rivals who are paired together and turn out to be unexpectedly perfect as a pop fusion duo. The added sprinkle of suspense courtesy of an obsessed admirer was great.

The Night We Met by Jillian Liota - four stars
Madison Ross was attacked three years prior but doesn't remember anything other than the music; Scott Kelly is a musician who comes across Madi right afterwards. This was a good story about two people who "met" under awful circumstances but are bonded by that one night and the music she inspired.

Rock Encore by Kat Mizera - four stars
Wynter is the younger sister of Harley (Rock On, book four in Rock Harder series) and a former ER nurse. Ross Rocket is the former lead singer of Ross and the Rockets who lost his band, crew, and fiancee while on tour and is now the tour manage for Onyx Knight. This was a good read that was detailed, so it never felt I was missing any information for the sake of length.

Eyes on You by Layla Reyne - four stars
Gino Morelli and Bennett York are both part of a band called Middle Cut and are married to each other but find themselves at a crossroads professionally and personally. I appreciated that this was a complete story, and the cameos from other characters from the author's other novels was a bonus, but I was a tad iffy on how I felt overall because I never really warmed up to Bennett.

Forever Mine by M. Robinson - 2.5 stars
Hayley McKenzie and Joshua Co are high school students, with the latter having a reputation as a player. This story felt disconnected and far-fetched, and it was sadly the only one that didn't fit the music theme of the anthology.

Connected by Becca Steele - 4.5 stars
Jaxon Messier, formerly known as Jay Bowman, was the lead singer of a boy band named Morningside. Curtis Ward is a uni student, works at a music shop in London, and is a drummer for The 2Bit Princes. I very much enjoyed this, thanks to a complete romance that didn't skimp on the details and provided a highly satisfying happily-ever-after for its two main characters.

Idolyze by Rachel Van Dyken - 3.5 stars
Lyric, an up-and-coming music producer, and Johnny Hills, a member of a K-pop group, have a one-night stand, but things get complicated. Theirs is a second-chance romance, and it wasn't a bad read, but it did lack oomph and basically jumps from Lyric and Hills' quickie reconciliation to the epilogue.

The Road to You by Meredith Wild - 4.5 stars
Cora Clark is a traveling busker hoping to make her way to California, and Baron Porter is a developer and businessman currently working on and based in Cape Haven. This was a commendable story with grumpy/sunshine feels to it, where the main male character turns out to be a benefactor of sorts with the means to make his female counterpart's dreams come true.

Words Like Stardust by Julia Wolf - 4.5 stars
Selena Cruz is a highly successful songwriter originally from Queens and Marco Rider is a businessman who studied in Savage U and is looking to diversifying his portfolio by investing in Ocean Studios, which is The Seasons Change's home studio. This was a great way to close out the anthology and having The Seasons Change there felt like such a nice bonus.

A compilation of novellas focused on hope and music to tickle one’s ivories. Fourteen romance authors have come together for charity and deliver a myriad of stories for readers’ pleasure. The opening offering, Chords of Destiny by Kaylene Winter, gets the anthology started with Hope and Alek. Hope is an aspiring musician who tends bar at The Mission Club owned by Zane Rocks, from the band Less Than Zero. She is also getting a break when Zane asks her to fill in when the scheduled opener gets stuck at the border. Alek is the tongue tied, shy guy who would do anything to get to know Hope. With a nod to the Seattle music scene, this is one story that will have you invested in their sweet journey to love. Author Chelle Bliss hits readers with Sing For Me and we meet Lucca and Maddy. I hope this story gets expanded to a full-length work. Lucca is a song writer and Maddy is a singer who is looking for her big break. The two happen to meet up at the same bar and decide to try collaborating on a song. Like many of the author’s stories, there is that warm feeling you get with characters that feel like friends that you just cannot help but feel invested in them. About halfway through the book is Rock Encore by Kat Mizera where readers meet Ross and Wynter. In his younger days, Ross was a lead singer in a very popular band who lost it all and now works as the tour manager for the band Onyx Knight. Wynter is the sister of Harley, who readers met in the Rock Harder series, and she is a nurse who is looking for another opportunity. When these two come together, the sparks are flying. In Words Like Stardust by Julia Wolf readers get to know Selena, a very successful songwriter and Marco, a businessman who is looking to possibly invest in Ocean Studios – home of The Season’s Change. Selena is a beautiful soul who comes out of her shell when she meets Marco, and it is just beautiful to witness. Overall, there is something for everyone and one can feel the melody as the pages turn.
