the way arashiyama confessed that she liked hikaru gero but she didn't deserve him since she hadn't felt confident in herself... i understand that feeling so well. and it's the way that she was clearly communicating her feelings toward him that made me fond of her (let's be real hikaru isn't that communicative when it comes to love). she made clear that yes it was true that she liked him but she needed to be at her best first to be with him. truly a best girl ever.

I was ready to hate this volume, the Beast Master arc went on for too long and really... this series hasn't been the best at its fights. Gero, the poison user, uses his ultimate move... a STRONGER POISON! Wow, so cool, hurray, such interesting fights. Yawn.

But Hamster girl is great! Getting back to almost slice-of-life type stuff is great! And the new villain is a whole lot of fun and I'm excited to see how it goes with him. He's freaky, and also 'freaky' (yandere).

The climax of the Beast Clan arc comes to a close as Gero faces off against the Beast Master. (It doesn't end how you think it would) Then he has to face an even scarier threat: a love confession.

But the next threat to Gero's happily ever after comes from a little closer to home as a second candidate for head of the Poison Clan steps up to challenge. And he's that special brand of villainous cray-cray to make this story spicy.

The conclusion to the battle with the beast master and Gero comes with a surprise new beast master and she sorta hints that she can be the future poison master’s wife. It was a fun volume with the action scenes making the anticipation of the next chapter that much more exciting. Afterwards we meet a cousin that just seems a bit obsessed about Gero and the poison clan’s future. What’s to come next? 🤷‍♀️

3,2 + 3,6 + 3,7 =3,5 eu realmente não curti esse arco apesar q vendo no anime, no fim, ate q voltei a curtir, talvez pq estalou q eu achava q esse era um non-battle battle mas não, é shonen d lutinha msm ksks apesar de ter uns temas mais maduros, ao menos pelo anime (pq nao lembro mais do manga), é para uma audiência mais jovem, vou reler a partir daqui pra ler os próximos e com essa nova perspectiva vamos ver como vai ser.

Les scènes slice of life sont bien meilleures que les combats qui semblent être juste une suite d'attaques de + en + forte, une méthode un peu artificielle pour montrer que chaque ennemie est plus puissant que le précédent.

Gero, I too, would marry you!! The reasoning behind why his family’s so insistent on getting married and having children is starting to make even more sense than we originally thought. That being said, it’s such a fun and cool series!
