Both stories were great reads. I like the different parts of comic, it fits with the premise and title of the series. I enjoyed reading more about the motivations of the shroud. It definitely added more understanding to the story of the last series “Vengeance of Moon Knight.” Making shroud a foil for the seeking help was interesting. However, the second story with Cassian was the highlight of the issue. From the setting, costume design, and art style; all were very strong and invoke a unique setting. Cassian story kinda mirrors Marc Spectors which makes me believe that many moon knights share the same qualities and this war that Khonshu waged spanned many centuries and generations. The only thing I saw was lacking was the costume not being utilized more, would love to see more of it.
Very glad to get some more insight on Shroud, but Cassian's story is what really sold me on this. I can't tell you just how much I love seeing an actual Moon Knight. Really great issue to kick off with, as a Moony historian I'm excited to learn about all the previous fists
This reminds me of the comics that tell of the many different Hellspawns (Image Comics) from across time, only now Marvel comics did Moon Knight. If u are a fan of Moon Knight u will love this mini-series.
