The book showed that the author has deep knowledge about historic places. It was an engaging book with a great storyline. I happened to like the mythological, scientific and historic mix in the book. Having read Time Travelers of Dwarka by @bibhutishankar , the only thing I can conclude by saying is, ‘we need to promote more such authors and books’ who have the potential to weave and explore indian mythology in a way that doesn’t ruin the history, but makes it more interesting and appealing for the youth.

Time Travellers of Dwarka is a concoction of modern Science blended seamlessly with Indian mythology of the submerged city Dwarka.

The story commences when a team of marine archaeologists dive into the Arabian sea to look out for Dwarka and unfortunately get trapped in the space-time matrix.

While they are trapped, they get an opportunity to explore and discover the kingdom ‘Kushashthali’ ruled by Kakudmi.

Well, as it sci-fi, it is obvious that they do discover the magnificence of Kushashthali and the ability of the kingdom’s ruler to travel in time, while also visualising some unseens phenomenon.

But how long will they remain trapped? For eternity? Or will they decipher a way out?

Crisp and to the point narration is all what we need, and Das has done an incredible job. I just want to thank the author for writing a book as such, that too, super beginners friendly, that nothing seems overwhelming.

I want to start off by saying that this novel is an incredible blend of mythology, history, and science fiction that will keep you hooked. The story follows a team of marine archaeologists who dive into the Arabian Sea, to research the archeological excavations of Dwarka, the ancient city from the Indian mythology. Amidst their exploration of Dwarka, the team gets trapped in a space-time matrix and while stuck, they get to witness the grandeur of Kakudmi's kingdom, Kushasthali and they also discover his ability to travel through time.

They solve many historical mysteries, seeing things no one has ever imagined. But the question here is, how will they escape this space time trap?

The characters in the book, Jay, his professor Mr. Doherty, Kakudmi and Revati are very well developed. Jay and his professor, Mr. Doherty, are central to the narrative, but Kakudmi and his daughter Revati add authenticity to the story.

Though this genre is not something I read much of, I thoroughly enjoyed it. At some points, I felt as though the story was a little stretched, which wasn’t necessary and could have been avoided. Other than that, the writing is engaging and flows nicely, making it a fast paced read.

If you’re interested in Indian Mythology and Science fiction, I highly recommend you pick this one up!

Imagine this: Jay and his professor, Mr. Doherty, get accidentally stuck in a space-time matrix while researching ancient archaeological secrets in Dwarka. They end up uncovering some mind-blowing historical mysteries along the way.

The storyline is absolutely gripping, balancing nature and development seamlessly. The characters, especially Jay, Kakudmi, and Revati, are beautifully portrayed, adding depth and authenticity to the narrative. The way mythology, science, and history blend together is just captivating.

Now, it’s not without its flaws. The book could use a bit more editing and detailing. Some topics felt a bit incomplete, and a few unnecessary excerpts and characters could have been trimmed or better developed. But despite these minor issues, the author’s improved writing style and the engaging story make it a worthwhile read.

If you’re in the 20-30 age group and love mythology and science, this book is a perfect fit. It's an engaging mix that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Curious about the title? It's "Time Travellers of Dwarka" by Mr. Bibhuti Shankar Das. Highly recommended!

This is a story with a blend of mythology with modern world. When the remanent of the ancient city of Dwarka was found, the professor and his team goes on marine adventure to find out the hidden history. But there is a turn of events and they are stuck into time travel.

The author takes us to the historic background and into the story of 'Kushasthali', the capital city of Puranic King Kakudmi. We explore the events of that period through the eyes of protagonist. We witness various social issues and how people deal with it. The problems are same, we just need to find out the ways. We can always learn from the past. The story is beautifully woven.

The language is simple and easy to understand. Being a page turner, it's a fast read. But I felt that the characters were lacking depth. I felt the need to know more about the current world too. I hope we see more of Jay, in case we have another book coming up. There are few things which I found was stretched as the context missed out. But overall the story is good and beginners will enjoy this book too.

Have you ever read a book which is a perfect blend of science fiction and mythological fiction. I have recently read a book called Time Travellers of Dwarka and it just blew my mind. The book starts with the story of a team of Archeologists from the US and they wishes to explore the submerged city of Dwarka. The team came to India and starts their journey. However during their exploration journey they trapped under the time space matrix, which lead them to ancient city Kushasthali. The city is ruled by King Kakudi. The story telling in this book is really amazing and the language of the book is really beginners friendly. The way the author has added the characters they have really added the depth to the entire story. My favorite characters from the book is Jay and Revathi, I was able to resonate with them.
