Mated to the Minotaur was a decently fast-paced monster romance. If you like second-chance romance, a lot of spice, and a good adventure, I think you will enjoy this book.

I was thoroughly surprised by the one spicy scene, and if you read the book, you will know exactly which one I am talking about. That was... something else. I can normally keep a straight face reading almost anything but I could not keep a straight face reading that part. Even for a monster romance, that was out of left field from what I'm used to. And I don't mean any of that in a bad way.

There were a few plot twists in the book, and two of them were easy to figure out but not in a bad way - it made for low angst which sometimes is best to read in these types of books, or any type of book for that matter. Rakar being betrayed though... that I was not expecting. That one threw me for a loop, but there is a nod to it earlier in the book and I should have paid closer attention.

There are a lot of damsel in distress situations and Rakar coming to Sadi's rescue so if that's not your type of thing, you may not want to read this. I personally don't mind it at all. Alpha male and stubborn damsel in distress isn't my favorite trope or pairing, but I love to read a good monster romance.

For a shorter book, it is very action packed as well. I was not expecting so much adventure quite frankly from a monster romance book, but I was pleasantly surprised at how it was all handled. It didn't seem cluttered or chaotic. It was well spread out and written nicely.

This was a good read, and I will absolutely read other Elanthysia Monster romance novels if they are to come!.

Gleeful Goblin Review: I had a little bit of mixed feelings on this book but that's really just in regards to background and setup. I'm a huge fan of the blend of political intrigue, interspecies pairings, and second chance romance. What I wanted more of was to have some initial setting information to help me understand who the opposing parties are and their motivations for the intrigue that surrounds our main characters. There are significant forces that are driving both our main characters but we don't have a ton of setup info on why/how that has happened.

Now with that being said, if you're not really looking for a ton of those details that's not going to ruin your experience. There is a ton of steamy monster action, knottíng, and a fully realized second chance at first love so there's plenty to enjoy here for sure.

When Sadi (h) is falsely accused of a crime, her only hope for survival lies with Rakar (H), a fierce minotaur she once rejected as a mate. Forced to face their tumultuous past, they must navigate a world filled with deadly threats and treacherous enemies. As they journey through perilous landscapes, from the dark Forest of Malice to the treacherous Shifting Peaks, Sadi and Rakar confront their unresolved feelings and the powerful bond that connects them. Their quest to clear Sadi’s name leads them to uncover a sinister plot that will see her fighting to save both their lives and their future together. Hot and steamy minotaur-human, second chance, fantasy adventure romance, exploring love, loyalty, betrayals, magic, connection, and the strength found in unity against overwhelming odds.

Quick Enjoyable Read

I enjoyed this story and found it moved quickly. Sadi and Rakar were an interesting couple. At times, I found him more interesting than her. Sadi was impulsive by nature, while Rakar thought things through first. In the last third of the book, I admit I was tempted to shake Sadi a bit due to her foolishness. The story had a couple of twists I didn't expect toward the end. It was a satisfying conclusion to the story.

This story had great character development and the spice was insane. The plot twist was pretty obvious but was still enjoyable, watching it unfold. The characters seem to have really bad luck when it comes to finally getting their HEA. One step forward, universe throws them ten feet back. Great quick read that makes me excited go see what Ash will write next.

The book is decent. Has a good flow to it . Some nice spicy scenes. I will say I got pretty annoyed when I'm 70% done with the book and this is like the 5th or 6th time it is being reiterated how aurora was brutally murdered and the signature was in the book and it some how magically gets erased...we get it. We don't need to be reminded that many times in a 221 page book

A pleasant surprise! While there is plenty of spice (even some kind of ridiculous situations), there is also a solid and intricate fantasy murder mystery too! A few unexpected twists thrown in for good measure.

I enjoyed this book. It was fast-paced and action-packed. I was annoyed by one of the characters but that shows good character development. It felt like this world wasn’t quite finished and more books may be coming, I hope so.

This was good one!! The steam and the plot are well balanced and it made for a really good monster romance. I hope the author makes more!! My favorite scene was when she was tied to him and they were escaping the wraith. And the ending with a certain servant. Good writing. Lovers of monsters, smut, and fantasy will enjoy this one.
