'"Our building is for models only."
"Then, I'll pretend to be a model."
Marit stifled a laugh. "Sorry, Cole. You might have the tall, blond, and handsome thing down, but you don't walk or talk like a model."
"How hard can it be?"
"First, you'd need to learn how to walk into a room without looking like you're going to shoot someone."'

This book has the perfect combination of romance, suspense and comic relief! I have been a huge fan of Heirs of Falcon Point series and every spin-off series that has followed. The characters are fun, entertaining and genuine. I have especially loved the series with multiple characters...which means double the romance and a higher chance of them all finding themselves in situations that they have to think their way through. It all makes for a completely entertaining read from the first page to the last!

I feel like these characters have become close friends and I hope we get more and more of them. The books are written to be read as a stand alone, but I think it's a lot more fun to read all of them and can highly recommend every book from these authors in this series (and really, any book they have ever written).

This book is available today-grab it now and enjoy a fun night of reading!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Content/Triggers: mild suspense, violence and mystery, romance-kisses only.

Back with another installment in the Falcon Point Suspense series, Traci Hunter Abramson supplies readers with another great offering–this time in the world of fashion. The characters are consistent and steady, while the plot takes the reader on an unpredictable adventure, with twists, turns, and dangers around every corner.

I love the way this series has evolved, each book building more meaningful friendships and deeper relationships, but also never fails to unleash the gradual suspense that leaves me on the edge of my seat.

This is a book and series well done and as always, I can’t wait for more!

Content: moments of peril/danger; mild romance

If you’re a fan of the Heirs of Falcon Point series, there’s a new book available this week.

A group of friends takes on a mystery at Fashion week at Paris. When Marit is brought in for questioning by the police, she finds herself in the middle of a mystery involving fashion. Of course she calls in help. The book is full of romance, suspense, and then some humor to make it more fun.

I loved the close friendships, the Mystery to solve, and of course the beautiful setting. I loved that the romance between characters increases as this series goes on. It’s not a whirlwind that ends at the end of the book, but it’s a relationship that builds during each book and each situation they find themselves in. Kind of like real life.

If you’re fans of the Falcon Point spin of series, don’t miss this latest book!

When Fashion Turns Deadly is the third book in the Falcon Point Suspense series. Set in Paris during Fashion Week, the story follows Marit, a model who is always excited to shine in the spotlight. However, a lost glove soon puts her in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons as she becomes a suspect in a murder case. I really enjoyed the thrill and excitement of this story. Marit’s friends, Lars, Cole, and Isabelle, rally together to clear her name and keep her safe, showcasing their strong bonds.

Like the previous books in the series, this one highlights the strong friendship and dedication the four characters have for each other. Each person's strengths play a key role in the story. There is a good mix of humor, along with elements of theft, espionage, mystery, and romance. The couples’ relationships deepened, and I was particularly pleased with the progress of Cole and Isabelle.

When Fashion Turns Deadly is a must-read for anyone who enjoys compelling characters, romance, suspense, and a fascinating glimpse into the elite world of fashion and modeling. This book kept me up late into the night, and every moment spent reading was completely worth it.

Get ready to be swept into a thrilling mix of high fashion and high stakes. Marit’s Parisian Fashion Week getaway quickly turns into a perilous adventure when she's wrongly accused in the theft of a famous designer's work. Suddenly, her focus shifts from enjoying the romance of Paris with her boyfriend, Lars, to proving her innocence. Enter Cole Bridger and Isabella, the dynamic due with CIA training to help clear Marit's name, protect her from escalating threats, and uncover the truth behind the stolen designs.

The high-stakes plot kept me hooked, while the twist of Isabelle working undercover as a runway model added an entertaining layer to the drama. The camaraderie and resourcefulness of the two couples—Marit and Lars and Isabelle and Cole—shines through each scene. I love the relationships between the characters. Cole and Isabelle’s chemistry is electric, and their teamwork is a highlight, blending sharp wit with heartfelt moments. I loved the glimpses into the fashion world, and the twists and turns kept me guessing who the culprit was.

I love that we get two swoony romances in this book and we see some progression in both of those relationships. I can't wait to see what's next for these two couples. The blend of espionage, suspense, high fashion, and wit makes When Fashion Turns Deadly a fantastic story! It's a book you won't want to put down.

I highly recommend this one to fans of romantic suspense! If you’re new to the series, this book can be read as a standalone, but it’s more enjoyable if you’ve read the previous books. I received an advanced complimentary copy from the publisher but also bought an ebook for my digital library. All thoughts and opinions in this review are my own.

I really love the characters in this series! Cole still drives me a little crazy with his hero complex, but the rest of the characters are awesome. This book is hard to put down and there are some gripping scenes. The ending was a little weak but still very much worth the read.

When Fashion Turns Deadly by Traci Hunter Abramson and Sian Ann Bessey

When Fashion Turns Deadly is a riveting romantic suspense novel that I really enjoyed! It has a great blend of action, humor, and romance, and the high fashion elements and Parisian setting added an extra layer of appeal.

I loved how smartly written it was, the suspense that continued right up until the very end, and the bonds of friendship between the main characters was wonderful.

This is part of the Heirs of Falcon Point series, but can be read as a standalone.

This is the perfect addition to The Falcon Point series! Marit is in Paris for fashion week and a missing glove turns into so much more than she ever imagined. I loved how Cole, Lars, and Isabelle all came together to help Marit. The bond between all of them was so strong. Wouldn’t we all want friends like that? Especially ones who will stop whatever they are doing to come to your aid. The thing I really loved the most about this story was trying to figure out who was behind the murders and theft. This whodunnit really had me thinking and rethinking until the very end! Every time I thought I knew who it was another curve ball was thrown! I loved the mystery and suspense. The friendship and the romance. This story has it all! Action, suspense, mystery, fashion week, laugh out loud moments, and friends who will last a lifetime. If you are a fan of romantic suspense then When Fashion Turns Deadly is a must read! I received a complimentary copy of this book; all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Aside from the first book in this series and Codes of Courage (which is historical fiction), the contemporary books in the series leave much to be desired. The plot of this book feels forced and unrealistic. The characters' thoughts and actions are very repetitive and obvious, and having the story written from four different points of view is too much. The book isn't bad by any means; just blah.

Because now I have been to Paris, some of this book was ruined for me. That’s okay though, the thought of those things is romantic. I still can’t stand that in every book Abramson writes the character changes the angle of the kiss. It’s no longer, and hasn’t been for many books, a good line anymore. Time to change up the romance.

I won't lie, I'm kind of obsessed with this suspense line to the Falcon Point series by Traci Hunter Abramson and Sian Ann Bessey! The way they bring their characters to life is amazing, and the details they give for every location makes me feel like I’m there, and this time, I got to experience the glamor of Paris Fashion Week!

I’m a Family Consumer Sciences teacher, and one of my favorite classes to teach has always been Fashion Design! Now I’m definitely no expert on the subject, but I loved how detailed Traci and Sian were with every aspect of fashion design and fashion week! Their research and time spent studying an area or topic always gives their book that extra level of detail that brings the subject matter to life!

Marit, a model, gets caught up in a deadly plot she never saw coming, and things take a terrifying turn when she's accused of stealing a prominent designer’s creations. She may not stay high on the suspect list for long, but she doesn’t realize how much danger she’s in until it’s almost too late.
Luckily Cole, Lars, and Isabelle are all able to come to Paris, and together work to not only keep Marit safe, but also try and find the real criminal behind the stolen designs. One of my favorite parts of the book was seeing Isabelle step out of her comfort zone and step into the world of modeling in order to be allowed in all the same circles as Marit. The plot kept me on the edge of my seat, and I couldn’t stop reading!

As much as I love the suspense I can’t not say anything about the romance! I loved watching each couple (Lar’s with Marit and Cole with Isabelle) grow in their own ways and at their own pace!
This book is a perfect mix of suspense, mystery, and romance. If you’re looking for a thrilling, fast-paced read, it will not disappoint!

Um, wow! I ended up finishing this book in one day. When Fashion Turns Deadly is written by Traci Hunter Abramon and Sian Ann Bessey, it is the 3rd book in the Falcon Point Suspense series. This series is so exciting and this book had me on the edge of my seat.
I loved getting to see these four characters again. Cole, Isabelle, Lars and Marit were brought together again in Paris when Marit was accused of theft of a famous fashion designer’s designs. They had such great interactions especially since they had already spent time together in the past books.
It was fun to see the characters working together as they sought to figure out who was behind the thefts. The plot was really engaging and I didn’t know how it was going to end. There were so many twists and turns. It was so interesting to see how Merit and Lars responded to the situation compared to Cole and Isabelle who worked for the CIA. The fashion aspect of the book was also cool and I loved seeing the different sides to being a model.
The romance was just perfect. Both couples had to learn to grow together especially as they experienced this stressful situation. I liked how both couples were different but had to learn what it looked like to care for their significant other.
I would definitely recommend When Fashion Turns Deadly! It is a must read book. The characters, romance, suspense, and plot were everything. It can be read standalone but it is definitely better read in the series. When Fashion Turns Deadly is a clean romantic suspense book.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion, I was not required to write a positive review.

Another fantastic Falcon Point Suspense! It’s Fashion Week in the beautiful City of Love & in this latest romantic suspense from Traci Hunter Abramson & Sian Ann Bessey, the four friends find themselves in Paris when Marit is falsely accused of stealing a famous designer’s work. Marit’s boyfriend Lars, his cousin Cole, & friend Isabelle come to the rescue in this delightful, edge of your seat mystery.

I adored this gorgeous setting & all the events surrounding Fashion Week. From the iconic Parisian sites to the amazing food & fashion I was completely drawn into this story. Seeing the two couples grow closer as they face danger once again was so enjoyable & I loved all the romantic moments. The relationships between these characters make this series something so unique & special & I love that we get not just one, but two swoony romances. Lars’ & Marit’s relationship as well as Cole’s & Isabelle’s have been slowly building throughout the series & I can’t wait to see what happens next for both couples!

I love the way the authors seamlessly blend romance, humor, & intrigue. The suspense was off the charts! As designers all vie for the top spot in this cutthroat competition, it’s a race against time as bodies begin to pile up & the friends hunt to find the famous missing designs. I was quickly turning the pages & guessing right along with them as to who the culprit was. It all comes down to the wire as the intensity builds to a thrilling conclusion.

Highly recommend to romantic suspense fans! If you’re new to the series, this book can be read as a standalone, but it’s more enjoyable if you’ve read the previous books. I received an advanced complimentary copy from the publisher. All opinions are my own & voluntarily provided. 4.5 stars!

Paris is always a good idea, especially when Traci Hunter Abramson and Sian Ann Bessey sweep you up into the beauty of the city in When Fashion Turns Deadly, the third book in the Falcon Point Suspense series.

The story focuses on Marit, who is in Paris to model for Fashion Week. When Marit is questioned by the police about the recent burglary, she enlists Cole, Isabelle, and Lars to help her clear her name. The adventure that follows is a high stakes plot with the perfect blend of romance and humor added in. It was so good.

The behind the scenes peek into Paris Fashion Week was so cool. I loved learning all the ins and out of such an iconic event. Poor Isabelle! I loved seeing her navigate life as a runway model, but I totally understand why she wanted to be anywhere but there.

The sights, sounds, and smells of Paris were brought to life through this book. I have been to Paris a couple times, so I loved visiting again through the written word. The descriptions of the European cities in this series are always so lush and real. I always end these books with the desire to plan a trip a Europe.

I adored Marit and Lars and Cole and Isabelle. They are great characters, both individually and together. It is so fun to get a glimpse into how each romance has grown and developed. I can’t pick a favorite couple—they are both so good.

This book might be my favorite in the series. It is so good. If you haven’t started this series yet, I recommend starting with Heirs of Falcon Point. It is the book that starts this fabulous world, and it is phenomenal.

Fantastic addition to a favorite series!

When Marit is accused of a crime she didn't commit her boyfriend Lars and her friends Cole and Isabelle come to Paris Fashion Week to help clear her name.

They are willing to do anything to keep her safe, and in Isabelle's case, that means becoming a runway model for Fashion Week so she can follow Marit to all the behind-the-scenes areas. But the real thief is desperate to protect their secrets and is not afraid to silence anyone who gets in their way...

What you'll love:
Romantic suspense
Multiple pov
Set in Paris
Romance times two
Favorite characters
spies and secrets
Wit and humor
ticking clock
Isabelle modeling
enduring friendships
Intrigue and plot twists

I am a HUGE fan of all things Falcon Point and this book was such a great addition to the series. It had a brand new plot full of danger and intrigue with four beloved characters. I adore the back and forth teasing and banter between the four of them, especially cousins Lars and Cole.

I also love that in each book, the two romances - Lars & Marit and Cole &Isabelle develop a little bit more. Cole's and Lars revelations about their girlfriends especially stood out in this book and let's just say, I am VERY excited to see where both romances go in the next book.

This book was the perfect blend of wit, romance, intrigue, and suspense. I am fully invested in these characters and cannot recommend these books enough! While this could be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading Heirs of Falcon Point first at least so you get the background of the characters.

I received a complimentary copy but a positive review was not required.

Sian and Traci did it again! Bringing the heartfelt swoon with epic fast paced suspense! This read was quick because you just can’t stop reading! I absolutely enjoyed seeing Marit, Lars, Cole and Isabelle again! Both these couples are so wonderful! Their goodness and support of each other was fun to read again! And their relationships grow.

Marit is a suspect in a crime she didn’t commit, but being in the wrong place at the wrong time has put her in danger and her safety is threatened. Luckily Lars was already on his way to her and they enlist Cole and Isabelle’s expertise.

It’s Fashion week in Paris and with Marit committed in her shows, Isabelle is asked to pose as a model to stay close to Marit. And it’s a good thing Isabelle also gives her some self defense lessons.

Cole has his work cut out for him since he is a member of the CIA and though Isabelle is a member as well, he wants her out of harms way. The sooner they can figure out who is behind the theft and willing to kill to keep their secrets the sooner they can move on.

Favorite Quote: “First, you’d need to learn how to walk into a room without looking like you’re going to shoot someone.”

Thank you so much Traci and Sian for the amazing read!

I have loved getting to know these characters since the Heirs of Falcon Point story came out and this new suspense read was just as wonderful. Each successive book gives a deeper look at their respective jobs while keeping the intrigue of every new mystery high throughout the chapters. I am definitely not familiar with the world of high fashion so I learned a lot about the incredible amount of work that goes into the composition and display of each designer’s creations. Fashion Week in Paris is cutthroat in more ways than one and I loved how Traci and Sian proved that right. And they gave nothing away until just the right moment which kept me reading fast to find out what would happen next. I also liked the nice touch of romance included. It flowed naturally into the story and built on the history of the previous books. I have no idea where this series will go next but I’m excited to see these characters again in another adventure. Definitely get this one on your TBR if you like suspense reads that keep you guessing.

When Fashion Turns Deadly is another fast-paced, binge worthy, romantic suspense novel that I absolutely loved! Cole, Isabelle, Marit, and Lars are back for another unexpected adventure this time in the land of high fashion and I was hooked from start to finish.

Marit is a model participating in Fashion Week in Paris when she becomes a suspect in a major theft that is sure to shake the fashion scene. Calling on Cole for help, she soon discovers she is inadvertently involved in much more than she could have imagined. I loved the mystery and suspense of it all and the way I couldn’t predict the villain. Sian and Traci captured the intricate details of the fashion world and the Paris setting so well, I felt like I was right there experiencing it with these characters.

Speaking of these characters, I just love them so much; they made me smile. The humor in this book made me smile. The double romances made me smile. The action made me smile. And that ending made me smile…while also holding my breath, because the suspense was real. This book was so good, I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait for what comes next. I highly recommend this book and series.

I really love this series that Abramson and Bessey are part of. These characters are family now. (This book is part of the Falcon Point Suspense books. I feel they could stand-alone, but you’d have a better glimpse of these great characters if you knew their origin.) I enjoyed the Paris setting, and a peek into the fashion world. And of course Cole and Lars were always hungry.

I loved how Marit and Isabelle were able to work hand in hand in this story. The suspense and the action was non stop. I enjoy how these books show the great relationship and friendship between the characters. The way they are always there for each other and they’re strong, smart people.

I love the multiple POVs and the authors do a great job of knowing their characters. Of course there is always wit and charm when it comes to Cole and Lars and their love for anything sweet. Marit and Isabelle are great leading ladies that can hold their own when it comes to danger.

This book is another win for this series!

I love this suspense series by Traci Hunter Abramson and Sian Ann Bessey! Their characters seem to jump off the page. And I always feel transported to a different location. This book took me to Fashion Week in Paris.

Marit is getting ready to model in Paris's Fashion Week. She never dreams that she will be involved in a deadly mystery as part of her every day routine. But when she's taken to the police station, she quickly realizes that she needs help. And she calls Cole, not knowing if she'll get a second phone call to call her boyfriend, Lars.

I love that Cole is there for Marit as soon as he can be. He's the type of guy who knows how to deal with the law enforcement. And he realizes really quickly that Marit needs more help than she's going to get, if she wants to stay alive.

Lars and Isabelle show up quickly too. I love that Isabelle has a secret that only Cole knows about. Those two work so well together. I also loved that Isabelle goes way out of her comfort zone to also work as a model in this one.

This book kept me intrigued and guessing from the very start!

When Fashion Turns Deadly by Traci Hunter Abramson and Sian Ann Bessey

Book three in the Falcon Point series but could be read as a stand alone like I did. It was easy to follow as such and made me excited to go back and read the first two. However, if you are anti-spoiler, I suggest reading them in order.

The book starts off with the POV of Marit, a runway model, when she becomes a suspect of a crime during fashion week. Though, we get four POVs throughout of two couples at varying stages in their romance.

I really enjoyed reading a novel with slightly more established romance and getting to navigate that with them through all the tension of the investigation.

I don’t reading very much suspense and it was nice to read from a trusted author. The added element of a Fashion Week setting was so fun. I’ll be picking up the first two soon!

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐲, the latest edition of the Falcon Point Suspense series is now available!

If you haven’t yet been acquainted with the Lang family heirs you are doing yourself a disservice! This series has been phenomenal and the authors continue to give us exciting, suspenseful, and highly emotional reads. These characters are exceptionally written and you can’t help but fall in love with them. Each one exhibits the fortitude and resilience that their grandparents had before them. Cole and Lars are people you definitely want in your corner. Even though they continue to find themselves in sticky situations. Some may say they are trouble magnets. Because trouble always seems to find them and their significant others.

This story is no different. Marit finds herself in danger’s crosshairs when she becomes a person of interest in a high level theft. Without Lars close by she enlists Lars’s cousin, Cole to help her. And Isabelle isn’t far behind.

With questions piling up, and dangerous attacks coming from all sides, the mystery can’t be solved fast enough. Using all the resources and ingenuity in their arsenal, can Cole and Lars find the thief and killer before anyone else is injured? The clock is ticking.

Thank you to the authors for my advanced copy, all opinions are my own.

Another fast pace, action packed mystery novel in the Falcon Point Suspense series. Marit, a fashion model, is in Paris for Fashion Week with her boyfriend Lars. She becomes a suspect in the theft of a famous fashion designer's work. She turns to her friend Cole and his girlfriend Isabelle who have CIA training for help.

My enjoyment of the story was enhanced by the fact I was in Paris this month. It made it fun to envision some of the settings. I trust the authors to make the story exciting and it was nice to see some progress in the personal relationships of the couples. This can easily be read as a stand alone novel but I enjoyed the previous two books which includes more background on the couples. Thank you to NetGalley and Covenant Communications for the ARC and I am leaving an honest review.
