I'm absolutely head-over-heels for fantasy, urban fantasy, romantasy, and anything dark and paranormal. And yes, I'm totally here for the spice! After years of devouring every book I could get my hands on in these genres, I found myself thinking, "What if I combined all my favorite elements into one series?" That's how the Crown of the Seven Realms Series was born.
I'm a total sucker for witty banter and those laugh-out-loud moments that make you snort unexpectedly (hopefully not in public). I believe the best stories have characters that feel like real people—flawed, funny, and fierce.
My series features heroines who can hold their own and alpha males who are compelling without being insufferable, all wrapped up in plots that'll have you staying up way too late because you absolutely must know what happens next.
When I'm not busy torturing my characters or building new worlds, I'm living the dream in the gorgeous Pacific Northwest with my incredibly patient husband and our two spoiled dogs. My background is a bit all over the place—I have an A.A. in Criminal Justice, a B.S. in Psychology, and an M.Ed. in Education. Turns out, studying human behavior comes in pretty handy when you're trying to write believable characters and relationships!
You'll usually find me either exploring Washington's breathtaking landscapes (research for all those dramatic settings, obviously) or curled up somewhere cozy with a good book and way too much coffee.

**Spoiler Free/ARC Review **
Whoahhhh! So I didn’t expect A SINGLE THING THAT OCCURRED.
Dark Fate picks up IMMEDIATELY where we left off in Dark Awakening. I truly appreciated how things weren’t open ended and how we circle back with characters that were first mentioned in Dark Awakening. There were some parts that I felt dragged but to be honest it made sense lol. Soooo much happens. SOOOO MUCH. From personal growth, empowerment, chosen family, and improving communication, this was truly a fun read.
Definitely expect this book to have so much action! When I tell you my mouth was on the floor, I was SHOOK. Loveddd how much of a boss babe Dani is and outwardly becomes. Love to see the banter and reassurance of love and respect not only between Rhy & Dani but between EVERYONE who interacts with her. It’s clear Dani has rubbed off on people based on the banter & comments that were made 🤣.
Now for spice & a personal note for our author: MA’AM!!!!! ch.26 was Diabolical!!! HOW COULD YOU!? LMAOOO. I once again, DID NOT SEE THAT COMING ! You had me giggling and kicking my feet 😮💨🤣🤌🏼💀. You really had me going 💀 you got me good. (Also, thank you so much for the opportunity of being your ARC reader for this book! 🖤)
Seriously, the spice never fails to hit its mark throughout the book. I was cracking up with some of it because it was definitely relatable.
Already itching to see where we’re heading with this because that cliffhanger had my anxiety through the roof! I hope you all enjoy this series as much as I did.

I read this book as an ARC reader. I will give my honest review and opinion! 😇
Just wow! Dark Fate started right where Dark Awakening ended. I couldn’t put the book down. I finished it within one day. There are a mixture of personalities and characters and it all blends well together. It was definitely a wild ride, relationships were for sure tested and stretched. But overall a great read! Excited for Book 3!!!

This series is an amazing experience with stunning worldbuilding, magical realms/creatures, adventure, unique magic, twists, a spicy fated mates romance, powerful FMC, and tons of sassyness and banter.
Picking straight up after the events in (book 1) Dark Awakening, they've entered the realm of Fae, and Dani is separated from the group. She must trust a mysterious fae stranger to help find her mate and friends, travel this dangerous realm, and retrieve the relic they need.
I devoured this book, although it's chunky there is never a dull moment, and it bounces seemlessly from action, to drama, to romance, to violence, to delicious spicy scenes.
It's an emotional journey, there are lots of intense moments, ruthless enemies, dangerous battles, and training scenes exploring Dani's growing abilities.
The new characters were a great addition to the already brilliant cast, and I love the constant banter and humour between the group.
Dani and Rhyland's relationship is so powerful, it endures so much but they always find a way back to each other, and the spicy reunions are intense!
This book really steps up everything, and I loved every second, including how friendships were tested, the warrior outfits and the pop culture nods.
I am dying for book 3 after the intense final chapters and cliffhanger, and know this next realm is going to be amazing too!

First off the amount of humor, the slang. The banter and the pet names resonates with me on a soul deep level. It matches my internal monolog which I've had yet to find in any other series. I live for it. It made it so much more enjoyable to read. Berserker brat? That was clever and it so stinking cute.
The new chapter pictures are beautiful! It gave me something to look forward to when I was nearing the end of a chapter. Only pitfall is on the kindle app with the colors the font was hard to read. So I definitely had to pay attention to when the p.o.v changed. Ended up thinking I skipped 20 odd chapters somehow. On a related note the character images are stunning and slightly mouth watering! It helped when the brain didn't want to brain the details anymore to refresh them in movie I was casting in the dome ya know?
The spice was *chefs kiss*. It do be spicing. That carriage scene ugh sent me to the moon! It's a real kick in the pants though not being able to share with anyone what had me sweating. Rest assured my hubby will be paying the price of this read. Thank the bathroom at the club scene sheeeesh haha. Speaking off thank you for the beautiful fae names, might have to steal one or two for any baby to make a grand entrance in roughly 9 months.
All together it was a fantastic read. A rounded book in my opinion. It had enough sass and brass to last and some tear welling moments to get me through to the next book

So great to pick up exactly where Dark Awakening left off and dive right back in with the characters. The story is full throttle from the get go and very much one of those book you find yourself up until the early hours of the morning to read one more chapter!

Dark Fate picks up right where Dark Awakening let off with Dani falling into the rapids and getting separated from Rhyland. This book was incredibly action packed and I soaked up every word! The banter and dialogue had me ACTUALLY laugh out loud so much (thank you Lucian)! My husband got mad when I woke him up with my laughter 🤭
Can I say HOLY SPICE?! Like seriously, the scenes written in book two are so freaking spicy you might start questioning if you should try some of them out yourself 🙈🥵🥵
Watching Dani and Rhyland’s love grow throughout this book was just absolutely beautiful experience for me. But be prepared for an emotional ride at the end because we are left with another cliffhanger!! Book three better come soon!

The book started right where Book 1 Dark Awakening left off, with our FMC Dani falling into the rapids and being separated from Ryland and his brothers. She winds up going over the waterfall ending up in the fractured lands of the fae. I couldn’t put the book down. With Cali’s hilarious inter monologue and also her normal monologue, I was laughing through the book. There are a mix of characters and personalities that fit so well. She continues on her quest to unit the fractured kingdoms. The end leaves us in another gripping cliffhanger. Can’t wait for book 3.

What was that ending?!!! Just like how the first in this series ends off on a cliff hanger and starts how the last book ended. We’re catapulted into Luminara, where we meet faeries and new characters that yet again sweep us away. I cried I yelled and screamed, this book was absolutely a masterpiece. Chapter 26, 77, 78 was spiciness in its core. A few chapters absolutely wrecked me and had me sobbing, but ultimately I crave for more of this world. I can’t wait to dive in to Dark Tides! Sniff sniff. A.l. Hampton ruined me for any other books. Truly well done.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this review. To put it plainly, Dark Fate was amazing. I don’t think I have ever read a book that has literally made me laugh out loud so much! The world building is so amazingly written that it’s like stepping into a fairytale inside my mind. There are so many twist and unexpected turns that I found myself staying up to the wee hours of the morning reading because I just HAD to know what happened next! This book is also PACKED with some VERY spicy scenes. Like seriously, they’re so spicy you might start questioning yourself about what kind of things you’re into.
The love and pure raw emotions between the 2 main characters Dani and Rhyland is just absolutely beautiful, although Lucian is still one of my favorite characters with all of his witty banter and inappropriate jokes. A.L. Hampton was an absolute mastermind when it came to writing this action packed masterpiece of a book. The final chapter alone sent me through a tidal wave of emotions and the absolute massive cliffhanger ending has been begging for book three!
So in conclusion, if you are looking for a book that packed with steamy spice scenes, breathtaking world building, and endless adventure, read this book. You won’t regret it!

I connect so well with both the main characters, and I could feel their connection throughout both books. The world is so captivating that I never wanted to put the book down!

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! What a sequel this was, immediately picking up where we left off in Dark Awakening. The amount of thrilling action and suspense had me bitting my nails! This new realm is such an awesome change of pace, I can't wait to see where things go in the next realm! The character arcs and world building are unlike any other I've ever read. The banter was so relatable and funny and tear jerking I just couldn't put it down, I 100 percent recommend this amazing series!

I am absolutely in love with this ragtag group of miscreants who are hell bent on saving the 7 realms. Danica is an amazingly brilliant woman in charge, Rhyland is a possessive dominant viking vampire ( need I say more), then there is mr. Erik, a silent observer always on guard. and then Lucian, his comedic relief is to die for throughout the book.

Dani and Rhyland's story pick up right where the previous book left off. It easily jumped right back into the action and pacing of it all. I love the uniqueness, humor and raw intense emotion. It really packs a punch overall. The heat though is spicy!!! It was very easy to become captivated by this world and characters again.

I love when the next book in a series picks up where the one before left off, no jumping back and forth, just getting straight into it! This was such a good read, I loved getting to see where the story went. It was such a rollercoaster! Definitely worth the read!

I'm pretty sure I experienced every emotion reading this book. It was funny, dramatic, spicy, adventurous, and kept me on my toes. I highly recommend it (after reading book 1).
This series is very spicy 🌶️🌶️🌶️ if you don't enjoy sexy scenes, proceed with caution. If you do, then this is the book for you.

Ahh, Dani is so sassy, and I'm still loving it! Lucian is just as funny. This was a very long read, one I had anticipated for a long time, but it was so worth it and not boring for a second. I loved reading more about Rhyland and Danica and their adventures.
The character art included was absolutely chef's kiss, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the book. However, I can't deal with this cliffhanger again! I don't want to wait for the next book—I'm so hyped!

Okay okayyy!!! I loved this book soo much the spice is way up there book two definitely made up for book one in spice. The world word building is amazing and sooooo much character development with all the characters and the goofy bickering between everyone is a crack in the tension and actually quite funny 🤣. The mysteries come unfolding and oh lalala.This book has sooo much going on at once but I swear it will all click and come together perfectly PSA I did ask for this to become a why choose chapter 26 was such a tease 🤣🤣because I’m a greedy bit*ch and she said nooo lol! Can’t wait to see where this goes 💕🌸🥹🥺
I’m literally ready for book 3 now and the next and the next. The spice possessive MMC 🥵🔥☄️ the love and trust found family/fae/badass FMC/multiple dimension or planes however you see fit/Gods/Goddesss/ vampires and of course a little bit of everything 🤍word building on point/character development and NEVER loses her PLOT. When authors have sooo much going on in the book they forget or stray from the plot she never did! Well done !!
This series needs to be made into a movie series asap because I need more and more. This friend group is literally some real life goals no jokes here and totally relatable to be honest. Absolutely blown away from the book. I hope y’all enjoy it as much as I have! Check TW

Oh my goodness, a cliffhanger, why!! 😫
I’m not going to lie I was concerned, I really struggled for the first 18 or so chapters. I’d get 5 or so pages in and fall asleep, the information overload in this book is a lot but the middle to end of it had me absolutely hooked. What an absolutely wild ride, the realm jumping, the villains, then back to the mortal realm. The passion between Rhyland and Dani and the constant banter and commentary from Lucian is great. I’ll be looking forward to the 3rd one. I felt there was a lot of repetitiveness the way Rhyland talks to lucian and the way he describes Dani and her him in almost every chapter, still got me unable to put it down in the end though.

I had the pleasure of reading this book, and when I say it was beyond amazing, I mean it. I loved the first book, but this one was even better. I laughed out loud so many times, but it wasn't just laughter—I also screamed, got pissed off, and might have even cried a little. The emotions this book evoked were intense.
One thing I must say about author AL Hampton is that she knows how to write a great book with exceptional world-building, character development, and banter. This book kept me on my toes, constantly trying to figure out what was going on. If you're a fan of Faye, different mythical creatures, a supernatural universe, angels and demons, "touch her and die" moments, morally gray men, and some great spicy scenes, this book is definitely for you.
The way she uses descriptions and world-building made everything play vividly in my mind like a movie. That's why I love her books—I can picture and see everything so clearly. I needed a good escape because I was feeling really depressed, and this book provided exactly that. The characters' growth from the first book was remarkable, and the action was so intense that I kept wondering what was happening and needing more of it. She delivered perfectly.
I loved Dani in this book. She showed how much of a badass she was as she kept developing and learning her powers. She continued to impress, and I loved every moment of it. When you get to chapter 26, make sure you find your significant other because the spice in that scene had me ready to risk it all, even though I can't have kids anymore.

You are a word smith if ever there was one. The banter and chatter in this book is beyond anything I've ever read, i laughed out loud at the Bridgerton refernce, I loved it. The relationships, the love, the angst, the freaking spice 🌶🌶🌶🌶, chapter 26 (you really had me there) our big bad broody viking, the sassy slick tongued FMC all of this together has me hooked! I can't wait for book 3.

If you thought the first one was good, the epic quest meter in the second is kicked up a million notches! Couldn’t put it down and left on a cliffhanger that leaves you dying for the next one to release already.

All I can say is wow! When I say this book jumped right back in to where Dark Awakening left off, I mean it. A.L Hampton loves to leave her books on cliffhangers! I love the world building in her books. She's so vivid in her storytelling. I love all the characters so much! And the spice!? 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 This book had me giggling, gasping, smiling, and yes, even tearing up. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series!

It's absolutely brilliant !!! You get taken into a world of fantasy, and the writing is so beautiful that you feel like you're in this world that I couldn't stop reading. This book is action-packed, emotionally charged, and full to the brim of adventure. The characters are fab, and dani has the best banter, to which I LOL quite a few times. Excellent writing once again from this author.
