The last thing that Sage ever wanted to be was an Omega.
That's not how fate works, though.
After drawing the genetic short straw, Sage spent her entire life running from her reality. Taking illegal heat suppressants and hiding from the government, even under the very strict eye of the Omega Preparatory Academy. All she needed was a little bit of time, to make her escape and live free of the social prison that her genetics condemned her to.
Then she met the Jackson Pack, and her suppressants ran out.
Now she needs to come to grips with what it means that she's caught the attention of Vincent, Leo, and Rowan. Three Alphas, whose scents call to her body and soul.
She craves them. She needs them. Her heat is on its way, the Alphas want her, and...
She might just want them back.
Hidden in Plain Sight is the first book in a completed sequential trilogy, which needs to be read in order. It is a contemporary, queer normative omegaverse story with a stubborn heroine who doesn't have to choose between her loving, polyamorous Alpha heroes. Please check the content notes at the beginning of the book before proceeding!
Plot: 3.5/5 • Smut: 4/5 ———-> This is another Omegaverse read where the Omega doesn’t want to follow the societal norms that are typical for Omegas. She been taking suppressants for her heats until her supplier runs dry A group of Alphas come to tour the facility where Sage is. Boom, scent matches. Only she tries to keep that information hidden. Eventually she does go into heat and the pack is there to help her along. This ends on a cliffy, setting you up for book 2.
The Omega smut is fantastic. We get lots of MM material and excellent chapters during her heat.
This book has potential but...the problem is up to 70% (I checked this as while I was reading using my kindle app while traveling) it's only about the Jackson pack and their intimate moments. It should be Rowan's book. We won't take on an omega unless you agree, you come first Ro. It does help but to solidify Sage's worry about omega's being secondary citizens in the minds of most in a pack dynamic but this is a little overboard. During Sage's heat, Leo was wrapped around Ro, let's just leave the omega to sleep alone so the only real Alpha who truly wants her (Vincent) cares for her via food preparation also, Ro, you have to go first no matter she is their scent match we would dump her in a heartbeat if you aren't ready Ro mentality is the theme even after the understanding of who she is to them. Truly, not much happens in this book. We are still waiting for Ro's big reveal about his issues with omegas. We know everyone including the omega loves and wants to put Ro first and also, Sage is a spoiled brat. She is not a fav mfc of mine. She hates the system but the fact you have 2 decent alpha's better to make the best of your situation than sulk. we will see what happens in the continuation....bonded to the alpha...

First of all, why do i feel like this book is both so long and so short? haha It was an interesting plot and premise but i guess since it ends in a sort of cliffhanger/ more like not everything is resolved, i don't even know the plot of it when it ended. I just felt like it took so long it was like the main point/climax of the story but in turns out it was just a few pages before the book ends. so i guess, i did not like the open end, it felt like it was only a matter of few chapters left to finish this but i guess book 2 will revole around her wanting to get out and hurting the three MMCs in the process. i don't know if i'll pick up the second book tho.
I got this book free during one of the stuff your ebook days. I enjoyed reading this book and I plan on reading the second book as well. This book is a reserve harem type book but also has MM action. If you dont like one or both of those things than this book is probably not for you. There are multiple POV's and I feel like you get a pretty good feel for the main characters. I know that an omega in heat being able to give consent is always a questionable thing but I think the author did a pretty good job making sure that consent was there for for all of the spicy bits.
It’s ok. Not a lot of substance to it. It mostly just focuses on spice and it is really weird how the parents push the guys to find just any omega. They dont have one within a week and so they meddle, one more week and they take matters into their own hands even though the guys listened in the first place. I don’t know it just didn’t work for the story. Everything was incredibly forced. I mean the writing felt forced. It was ok. Not well developed story. But if you don’t care about story then it’s just bland and ok.
Okay. I didn’t know what to think of this book at first but the more I got through it the more I got into it! While I think it’s missing a few things to excel the plot I’m still quite pleased with the way the story progressed and am quite excited to see where this story goes! I also just love a good omegaverse and this one had that element but with a twist so it’s new and fresh so I’m enjoying that!
Overall, I enjoyed this book! I’m excited to see where this story goes through the next two book! 🖤🥀💫
I enjoyed the omegaverse world she created for this series, the intro sets a clear president of the what and why. The characters are complex beings that I quickly liked. If you don't like MM this book isn't for you. It is perfectly steamy with a flowing engaging story line. Ends on a soft cliffhanger but still left me desperately awaiting the next book.
Sage has been "hiding" at an Omega Prep Academy, taking illegal suppressants as long as possible with the hopes she can eventually get out and live as a beta. Unfortunately, her plan backfires and she ends up running into Vincent, Leo and Rowan. She freaks out, Rowan has his own issues (which we don't really find out here - just sort of implied) but she can't deny her omega instincts.
This was ok. TBH, although the storyline itself has great potential, there was something about it just wasn't grabbing me QUITE as much as I wish it had. I'm not sure I'll continue on with book 2.
