Excuse me as I write this review for the entire series......
Excuse me again as i misspell words, this is written in a hurry

SO these books are freaking amazing and I loved every bit of it!

Spoilers For The Books Ahead:::

It starts out with Sophie moving to grandmas for her senior years. She meets Caeden and they become friends, but eventually she finds out that her family are shifters and they shift into wolves. She and Caeden our mates and the Alphas of their pack. Then Travis, an evil butthole, kidnaps Sophie and torturers her to get at caeden. And when they rescue her she has to cope with it and they realize they have to kill him.

Then, they almost do. But Caeden lies about killing travis and sophie gets pissed. SO the next book is them being mad and having to deal with travis. And Caeden proposes and she says yes.

Next, its all about the wedding and taking travis down, and again they almost kill him. And Sohpies is preggers.

Last Book: The baby is draining sophie and they are still dealing with travis... Its doesn't really give a specific month but travis kidnaps her again, and she is still pregnant. Travis keeps her until her water breaks, delivers the baby, and takes the Baby (Beau) away and leaves sophie alone and drugged. Caeden and the others find her, and once she is healed they go and find Beau and kill travis. The End!

Things I loved about the book: The whole idea of shifters. Sophie and Caeden. All the other characters are amazing. The setting. Smeltzer is a great writer!

Things I didn't love: Sophie is a plain jane kinda girl and it kind of gets annoying. " Sophie lets go eat" *Pulls up at a fancy restaurant* "No i just want a burger, i don't need fancy to be happy!" and i'm just like fricking eat the food your boy brings you!
The dialog between sophie and caeden... They were either fighting, loving, or snarky banter. All these things are good to have, but there was no just regular talking and that bothered me just a little bit. Ex: " You're a liar you should have told me about travis" Yells sophie (fighting) "I love you for being you, sophie. You my mate, my wife, and your beautiful and you will be a great mom" (loving) "whats up? "the sky stupid" (snarky) and it got so old can you not just say hey nothing glad your home i made supper... but with out immediately going into, you made supper for me,, thats why i love you so much. like ugggghhhhjh fricking you love each don't turn everything you say into i love you for this and that.....

Now a lot of people say this book is just like Shelly Crane's Significance.... and they are really similar. I read Outsider before i read sig. and perhaps that makes me bias, but i just think they are similar not ecaxt copyies. To me thats like saying the hunger games and twilight are the same becasue of the love triangle. Or tHg and divergent because of the dystopian setting. But upon rereading outsider i was like havent i heard this before... oh yeah imprints are in sig. too. But that didtn make me hate the book. The only thing i thought was copied really was the idea of the Beau sucking the life out of Sophie, that was a little too twilighty for me.....

All that being said, I recomend this book to everybody who wants a good read. The things i didn't like were small compared to how much i really loved the book....

Also I feel like the books ended in a cliffhanger so she better have plans to write about Beau's life!

Just like with the rest of this series, once again I liked the story but can't figure out why. The book had issues, the characters were just okay but for some reason I liked them. I would have never finished the series if I didn't have Kindle Unlimited right now (free trial 😉) but yet I took the precious time have with it to read the entire series. It's just one of those things.

I loved the series and encourage everyone to read the entire Outsiders Series to get to know and enjoy all of the characters and events. The author does a great job of defining each character with unique and interesting personalities.

This book was mostly how Sophie and Caeden got through and survived a miserable time in their lives, including the disasterous events that occur and the final stand against the enemy. I miss the humor, support, and team interaction amongst family & friends that the previous books had. The addition of Nolan really added to the storyline.

The whole story line of the elders and Gram/Lucinda leading the council, has never been clear other than Caeden never wanting to go to the meetings and didn't agree with some of their rules. This book finally clarified what was going on except for Gram's role of going from leader to innocent bystander, which didn't make sense.

Then Sophie and Caeden's parents, who were so close in previous books, hardly made an appearance in this book to help except towards the end.

The Epilogue "6 years into the future" at the end really saved this book and was a perfect way to end this series.

This book was the epitome of inconsequence. What happened to the "visions" from the first book? And moreover was that "bonding ceremony" from book three just a joke? Lucinda wrapped that white ribbon around to bind their souls in life and death which means if one pops off the clogs so does the other. In this book suddenly there is no word of that anymore. Just for that a story where I'd give 3 stars for loses one star. All in all the series was a mix of Significance by Shelly Crane ,Twilight by Stephenie Meyerand maybe some original ideas from the author herself. Read the series if you don't mind content that's extremely familiar to you from other books.

**First thoughts** Oh.God.Another.Twilight.Ripoff..Sorry to say when Sophie started becoming seriously ill with the pregnancy my thoughts went straight to the Twilight Saga... A 100 Pages or so had me worried I wouldn't like the book.. which I couldn't understand as the rest of this series was amazing and had a lot of potential.. I was out of sorts reading this.

Deep breath... *HOWEVER* .. Close call but what a save!!! the story changed direction and was out of the reach of my DNF shelf. Once I got over my initial thoughts I really enjoyed this book [I desperately wanted to as I was a fan other the other books] I was soon thrown into chaos and wrapped up in storylines.

I actually thought my heart was breaking for the poor Alpha's! I had to admit that Sophie was one bass ass mum! She stood up against everything she had been through, her mind body and soul for her baby. Even put herself in danger but knew what had to be done to get her precious baby..err..cub.. furball? back in her arms to complete her family.

I finished this book with tears in my eyes.. such an emotional ending.. with happy endings all around.

I struggled with this book. The ending redeemed it some.

Spoilers ahead.

Once Sophie and Caeden got married the story shifted to just them with a few friends/family randomly popping up. They are the Alphas of a pack but seem to have zero responsibility and no interaction with them. And have no need to actually work because... being Alpha is there job.

I'm sorry but no. Pretty sure they need to be more involved with the pack they lead. Sophie hasn't even met everyone in the pack. But she's an Alpha, seems odd to me.

What was Nolan's purpose to this story? I could not figure it out. I kept waiting for something to be revealed but nada. Once again another character to pop in randomly.

And I'm sorry but what Alpha whines and complains about his PREGNANT MATE being kidnapped for 3 months without tearing the damn town down looking for her?? THREE MONTHS!!

I'm glad Sophie was the one to get rid of Travis. Didn't seem Caeden could do it. He can be sensitive and strong, i just don't feel like that was conveyed in the story.

Overall it wasn't bad. But I won't read it again. Too many plot holes.

I have to say this was such a goood book! I finished the book in an hour but the plot, the feelings, the characters, the comedy... DONT MESS WITH A MAMA WOLF! The way to end a series like this is a smart way. It was creative and the ending was cute. Travis is a crazy mofo but Sophie gave him what he deserved. Beau is such a cute baby and the gang is together! I was happy there was no major death (well with people we actually like...) and the whole elders situation sucked but I'm really happy with the turn out at the end. The whole baby making Sophie weak was not something I was expecting because it kinda reminded me of Kylie from Micalea's vampire series... but on the other hand, Caeden was beautifully amazing and Sophie was just a kick ass MAMA WOLF! I wish we knew more about Nolan's back story but beside that... This is a MUST READ!

Wow, this one made me very angry. It was all about the the stupid baby, how weak it was making her. No romance and he kept leaving her to go work out. What?! Then she gets kidnapped, he is soooo upset yet he works out a lot and makes a stupid crib. He looks for her in-between this. Again, what?!! Eat, sleep and look for her, that should be it. What about her parents? Are they looking for her? They didn't seem that upset. She was missing for 3 months. They knew that the elders were out to get them but no one thought to look in the elder meeting house in the woods. Again, what?!! Then Travis mentions that they are very powerful alphas and their baby is super powerful. I have not seen any power come from them in the whole 4 books. I loved the first 3 books but this one was just awful. Very disappointing.

I enjoyed this book a lot but I felt like there could of been more involving the mutants and how they where making them. I also wish there was more about the elders and exactly what elders where involved since Sophie Grams wasn't a part of it. I also like the twist about Travis how he had a little compassion towards Sophia while she was kidnapped along with when he ran off with Beau. I realized he wasn't completely evil since he was feeding the child and stroking his cheeks but he had a bad motivate. I especially like that the book shared what happened six years later. It was adorable that Bryce was a dad and Caeden and Sophia had two more children beside Beau along with Bentley and Chris.

Good Read

I enjoyed the Outsider series very much. I am a resident of Virginia and Micalea gave just enough imagery to build the entire setting. I fell in love with Sophie and Cadean...but...Cadean was a pain in the butt. I felt like when Sophie was in trouble all he did was sit around and pout. If he was my mate I would have beat him up when he finally found me! He would wait weeks before even doing anything. But overall the characters were very likable and the details of there lives were pretty well told. I would love to see another series about Beau and what he may become.

Ok, Travis....I think we all saw this one coming. We also knew she'd have a superior child because that's how most shifter books are when two alpha's are together. I didn't see the mutants being so easy to defeat and the elders behind everything. Good read. The ending was rushed. The torture she endures again, was obnoxious. How can she be so calm? It makes her seem very unrelatable and detached. Lots of parts bothered me with this last book but at least there was closure.

Don't get me wrong, I like a good and happy ending where all the good guys live happily ever after...but I found parts of this book very disappointing. Without spoiling the book for those who haven't read it...there were a lot of convenient endings to the bad guys (some more disturbing, others just too damned easy). While I love the characters of the series, it was a disappointing end.

Exciting

The entire series was so exciting. There was love action and comedy in all of them. They were very well written and I think Micalea is a great writer. I hope to read more books from her and maybe she can extend this series so we can read about Beau and his powers as he grows up.

Great ending

Great ending

I loved this series. It's sad to say goodbye to Caeden and Sophie. The feel like friends instead of characters. Michalea gave them a great and suspenseful last story. So worth the wait for this final book.

Oh man did I love this series. I liked that it has a little bit of everything. Granted, sometimes Sophie and Caedan's tendency to let love rule over logic drove me crazy, but they all figured it out in the end. I wouldn't mind reading their kids stories either ;)

FANTASTIC!

I LOVE this series... It was hard to put down... I Love the fact that there was sensual feeling and excitement without actually spelling it out! Imagination makes a story so much more real and the characters more believable and memorable...
