Each recipe has a color photo title and summary of the dish. List of ingredients and I do not think you can substitute for your healthier dietary needs-low fat, low sodium as some might need the chemical reaction of shortening or butter. Directions are detailed. There is no nutritional information.

Cannot wait to try them all!
Every one of the recipe I read, was simple and very understandable. Several of the recipes, my picky family will even try. Novice cooks should be able to follow along. Pictures are very nice and big. Know what I am looking for, in my finished product. Will be back after sampling for more info.

Recipes look good
I have wanted to try pies in the electric skillet. We bought an extra electric skillet at a thrift shop to take in our camper. This book not only has pie recipes, but cobbler and corn reads,too. I predict yummy treats in my future

Another good book for the beginner

A little too openended to be helpful as instructions. Not creative enough as a collection of novel ideas.
