The List: A Classic Western Adventure

Rate this book
A classic western novel from Frank Wheeler with non-stop epic adventure and a blend of western romance

Marshal Dillon Guthrie hasn’t been the same since his wife’s murder. It’s driven him to extremes in the pursuit of justice.
But when his actions damage town property and threaten people’s livelihoods, he faces an ultimatum.

To capture Arizona's five most notorious outlaws, or lose his badge.

Among the infamous criminals on his list
1. Cougar Berry, a master conman and thief whose cunning knows no bounds.
2. Lasso Evans, a mysterious young outlaw with a dangerous thirst for blood.
3. Russel Mears, a criminal mastermind orchestrating chaos from the shadows.
4. Idaho Wissman, a daring bank robber whose audacious heists leave no one untouched.
5. Bonnie Archer, a seductive femme fatale whose kiss is as deadly as it is alluring.

Finding them should be easy.
But catching them might be tricky.

Especially with the mayor’s inexperienced son, Sandy McGovern, thrust into the role of deputy under Dillon's wing.
Add to that Ember, a fierce but beautiful ranch owner skeptical of Dillon's motives and ready to take matters into her own hands.

Together, they embark on a perilous journey to apprehend the ruthless outlaws.
Will they emerge victorious, or are they doomed to fall prey to the very outlaws they hunt?

Each novel in the series is a standalone western which can be read out of order.

Westerns

This was a fantastic read, excellent story telling had me hooked from start to finish.
This is my favourite genre, I am so disappointed that shops and other book places don't seem to count it.

Good story

Enjoyed this book with the twist and turns on the personal nature. Liked the ending in regards to the mayor and his son and daughter. The good guys prevailed over evil.
