This was one of the best finales I've ever read! I love how Beswick managed to combine all the characters and bring them together in the most natural, unforced manner.
Also, for a novel that centers around a great war, this one is hella emotional, so approach with caution, for you'll be sobbing over a few of your favorite characters.

My only gripe with the series initially was some unlikable characters. Little did I know, that just paved the way for a well-earned payoff of character development in the latter half of the series.

Now this... THIS... is what I'm talking about. This book takes everything that the previous books set up (especially the last book), the world, the characters, all of it, and brings it together. After sitting on it for a bit, this is definitely my favorite of the six Levanthria books simply due to how well it made the whole series feel earned and worth the journey I took.

The world building has always been a stand out in these books, and it is utilized in very unique ways here. The plot as well was very intriguing, and had some twists that I didn't see coming. The character arcs wrapped up in ways that felt very earned, and it genuinely felt like anyone could die at any given moment.

One of the biggest stand outs for me was the villain: Rhagor. In the last book, he wasn't all that interesting to me. Just a big bad who wants to rule the world and a reason for all the characters to get together to stop him. But there are some interesting things done with him here, with one specific scene that is still playing in my head for how incredible it was. He's not a crazy in-depth villain, but he became more of an interesting character by the end.

The greatest thing this book does is give the characters room to breathe. A big critique of mine for earlier in the series is rushing the endings, but this books gives everything a chance to sit and let you stew on what's going on. I really REALLY appreciate that.

Overall, this book surprised me. It left me wanting to go back and reread the series with a new perspective. Thank goodness there are other tales in this world to read, or I might go mad.

Wow. That's all I can say about this book. I've had my issues with the previous entries, while they were good, something was always holding it back. This one didn't. This was an absolutely perfect ending to the series. My only, and I do mean only, complaint of the book, is the holding back of killing more of the characters. With how the series built up, and how impossible the stakes were, it seemed like the author let certain characters live because he didn't want to kill them off and upset readers. I understand, but there is really not much of a reason on why some of them survived. They just did.

Besides that, I loved everything about it. The majority of the book is the final battle/war. And it was so cool bouncing between all the different angles and seeing what was happening where. And also, all the hints and "visions" throughout the series being realized in a way I didn't expect until the end was a nice touch. I'm incredibly glad I gave this series a chance, and kept going after I wasn't fully convinced after the first couple books.

After the ending, and the "Afterwords" at the end, I'm excited to see what comes next, and hope something actually does come next. It sounds like that's the plan, and I'd love to keep exploring this world.

By far Beswick’s strongest tale so far, filled with countless pages of action and, at times, hyper-violence. The majority of characters that he brought together for the epic finale to his seminal series were well-fleshed out and developed. Many of their plot points felt fairly well-concluded, with only a handful of characters leaving me wanting more. There were some twists near the end which really took me by surprise, but it was mostly satisfying many of the threads that had been left hanging throughout the narrative.

As ever, I don’t think his writing style has quite achieved the very height of what he’s capable of, but I’m looking forward to see how he continues to develop this as an indie author.

A fitting end to the series.

Good old-fashioned good triumphs over evil — exactly what you want from a finale like this.

That said, for a series built and developed over several books, the ending did feel a little rushed. I found myself wishing for just a bit more space to let the story breathe and to give the characters the send-off they truly deserved.

Still, the series as a whole has been a joy to read. The concept of weaving traditional folk stories into a modern fantasy world is clever, fresh and full of heart. It’s a great example of how old myths can find new life in contemporary storytelling.

Great conclusion to the main story! I’m definitely going to be catching up on the side stories to fill in the gaps and learn more about the world.

I know the author said he did his best with keeping the chapters in chronological order and it was ok but I think it could have been improved upon. The writing has improved significantly since the first book which was interesting to see while reading the entire series.

Overall I enjoyed the series and the world, it was different enough that I enjoyed it a lot.

Outstanding conclusion to the Levanthria series. The final battle played out as one would have suggested. I wish some aspects were longer and that certain characters had more of a role, considering how certain chapters were dedicated to them. But nevertheless, the book ended concluding the story and honestly…since the world was so great….wanting more (although true story is clearly wrapped up). One thread could be explored and I hope the author chooses to do so in the future.

This is a satisfying conclusion to a great series! I loved how all the characters came together in the end. The author balanced the roles of each well and brought satisfying conclusions to the arcs for each character. Also, The world building in this specific book of the series was my second favorite in the entire series (coming just behind A Stone of Destiny and Despair). All in all, he lands the Levanthria series well in this book!

This definitely wrapped up all the pieces of the story and all the lines that finally merged together. I’ve spent the last year reading this series and I’m sad to see it end. I was an little disappointed in part 1 of A War of Chaos and Fury, but after delving into part 2 I realize a lot of it was the build up. Part 2 is full of action and so much loss. I am upset that A.P. Beswick killed my favorite character even if it was necessary. There are always casualties of war.

What a great ending....the entire part 2. A full circle moment, epilogues of characters, and I know the 3rd book of Gregor is out so that will wrap up his story (I think)....all around great world building and fun. Love it.

This conclusion wove all the previous threads together brilliantly. The author has clearly grown into his writing style, and has vastly improved from his first book to this. This book was well written fast paced, keeping you interested throughout. Some characters you love, and some you hate.

absoulte beast of a book, a really good ending to this series.
all story arcs tied up nicely but there is room for more stories in levanthria if Adam decides too.

This feels like the equivalent of a teen girl writing a Harry/Draco fanfic. To messy, there is no reason for the different POV to be out of chronological order. The author mentions this in the intro of the two last books, but there really is no reason.
