I've had this book since I was about 9 or 10; there was a reading at the library, and my family and I happened to be there (then again, we used to attend a lot of events at the library). I used to love to just sit and read a few of these stories at random; not only are they educational, but they're really great reads! They definitely did help me learn about various events in science, and entertained me at the same time. This book carries a lot of sentimental value for me; the author autographed it for me, and it was one of a very few select books that has travelled with me as I've moved around the world. It sits on my shelf as I type this.
