Traumatized by a family tragedy, Frances “Frey” Heywood resorts to committing the unthinkable—only to be saved at the eleventh hour by a man more troubled than even she can comprehend.
Daze Keaton is bad news. A criminal and a drug dealer, he’s a far cry from the safe harbor Frey craves, but all her doubts pale in the face of the way he numbs that cold, broken place inside her.
If only for a little while.
Though Daze’s comfort is a welcome gift, his true motives are far darker than she can ever fathom. While he might have saved her life, her future is in far more danger with him in it.
Not that her head will listen. Or her heart…
A brand-new dark romance trilogy full of mystery, suspense, angst, and spice.
Sinners & Saints is a trilogy with books one and two ending in cliffhangers.
I am a quirky writer from the US who dabbles in dark, paranormal and contemporary romance. My stories aren't always typical, but contain a little something for everyone.
Oh this book was not good. It's like the author didn't know what the meaning of a plot line is. It's all over the place, messy, makes very little sense, and gives me more questions than answers. It's just not a good book.
Good girl, bad boy romance that is filled with suspense. Frey and Daze’s story had me wanting more. All the little hints and bread crumbs made this story great. Frey is a good girl, who suffered a tragedy had her lost. At her last resort until Daze comes along. He is a morally grey hero with so many layers. Together they were explosive.
This book was no joke a 5 star review. The characters, the angst, and the suspense had me eating up this story. I can’t wait to read book 2.
2.5 stars. The premise was interesting but the execution didn't do it for me. I, personally, wouldn't class this as a dark romance. I think for a first book in a series it was a bit drawn out, leaving the reader coming out of the book with possibly one (obvious) answer from start to finish. The writing was good, but the story fell flat for me.

“Sinner’s & Saints” by Lana Sky is a mystery, suspenseful, and dark romance novel that tells the story of Frances “Frey” Heywood and Daze Keaton. Frey has recently faced a traumatic experience involving her family and finds that there are secrets behind their history. This leads her to make a life-altering choice; however, she meets Daze before she can follow through. Daze is not someone one would bring home to meet the parents. He’s a criminal and drug dealer and the last person you’d think of when needing help. The two are complete opposites but are drawn to one another, and although Daze becomes a great comfort for Frey, his motives are far darker than what Frey sees. If Frey stays with Daze, her future is in danger; however, she questions if she’s willing to risk it to find answers about her family.
I have been a fan of Lana Sky's work for a while now, and I have received the opportunity to read not only ARC for this book but also BETA read. It was such a fun experience seeing the book come together and watching the writing evolve. Reading the final piece was just as amazing as reading the beta version! I loved everything about this story. From the suspenseful plot to the unique characters, this story is amazing and one of my favourite reads of 2022 so far. I was hooked from the very first page, and after reading the last page, I’m already excited to read the rest of the trilogy. This book covers dark content, so if you’re one to read warnings beforehand, be sure to do so before jumping in!
I didn't like this. The whole thing just felt too rushed. The relationship between Daze and Frey was just unbelievable and not in a good way. Frey was also frustrating in how utterly lost and clueless she was.
Daze I did not like at all. They've literally known eachother for a few days at most. I'm also a bit baffled on what exactly she finds attractive about him. The guy had no redeeming qualities at all. The superglue was also weird. I'm no medical expert but does that actually work?
Also how is Daze still alive after all the head injuries he's sustained?
The smut scenes were also annoying me. I just did not care for any of the characters and as this was a character driven book I most likely won't continue the series.
Frances is broken and wanting to end it all after the death of her brother. Then Daze who is even more broken comes into her life at just the right time. This book will take you on a rollercoaster of a ride. Daze is a little mysterious and full of half truths. Frey can’t help how drawn she is to him and goes along for the ride. Even scared of him and what he is she can’t stay away. With her father being the leader of the church Covenant and has his ties in the political world, there is more to both of their worlds then they know. This story is intense and I can’t wait for book 2, especially after that cliffhanger ugh.
I love it. 🥰 In the beginning, it was slow, but then I got hooked, and now I need more of this story. Love how the writer wrote the story. I was there while I read. ❤️ Im not into religion or church's but I always said that behind every church is a "shitshow" and what seems to be a sin... sometimes there isn't. Sometimes, there are many valid reasons to be the bad one for good reasons. So for that, this story got me, in first place, then Frey and Daze attraction oh my gosh... now I can't wait to be able to read the whole trilogy.
Absolutely loved this book. I thought Frey was a little naive to some of the things going on around her, but when dealing with family I guess that sometimes happens. I really have mixed feelings about Daze, I didn't like him, and then I did, I keep going back and forth, but at the end I really liked him and am rooting for him. I can't wait for the next book to find out what happens next! This book was mysterious, a little steamy, and had me anticipating what would happen the whole read. I received a review copy of this book and am leaving a voluntary honest review.
This is a rather dark, culty MC Club romance. Centres around a religious FMC who was ready to unalive herself after the death of her brother, but is 'rescued' by a stranger from the wrong side of the tracks. Relationships develop and loyalties are tested and now I need to go read the next book cuz it was actually interesting to see it all play out and I need to see where it goes.
A lot went on in this book, definitely too much. There was no cool down period between events, it was one thing straight onto the next. It didn’t give the reader the time to enjoy the plot points.
I get the relationship between the fmc and the mmc but I don’t get why the mmc was so cryptic with telling the fmc the truth whenever she asked a question. It just made the mmc a very annoying character, who already had a lot going on.
I probably won’t be continuing on with the series, it didn’t grab my attention enough and I didn’t enjoy it enough.
I absolutely adored this book! While it may have started off a bit slow in the first couple of chapters, it soon completely ensnared me. The initial interaction between Frey and Daze was so captivating; their initial intentions to use each other to cope with their own issues transformed into genuine care for one another. Despite Daze barely knowing Frey, he becomes incredibly protective of her. For someone who is supposed to be a walking red flag, all I could see was green! The intense angst and suspense in this story are incredibly addictive. Throughout the entire book, I found myself constantly questioning what was really going on and who the true antagonist was. This was an astonishingly steamy and enigmatic read, full of surprises.
Frey and Daze... This book was off to a strange start and for some reason the writing seems chaotic to me. Chaotic in a way that had be forgetting my surroundings and getting swallowed by the words. I almost feel like the main female character, lost in the reality of her confusion, trying to figure out what’s going to happen next. I am a deep lover of the male POV and was excited to see it in the last chapter, hopefully there will be more in the second book! 🤞
This short story is clearly a beginning, not a full story. It's dark and more depressing than intriguing. The best of the story is the sex scenes and even those are a bit lackluster in my opinion. It ends with a cliffhanger, but that's not enough to encourage further reading of the series. I wouldn't recommend this book.
I didn't think that this was dark. Not compared to many other dark romances anyway. The story had me intrigued from the start but by the end it was getting bored. Carried on and read book 2 to see if it picks up.
It was okay, just kind of felt it went no where. So many back and forth questions with little to no answers. I understand there are other books in the series and they may help tie things together but just felt there could have been a bit more to keep things interesting.
Overall the book was a good read it had a nice steady plot. It was a slow burn at first but after the 3-4 th chapter it really picked up. Such a good captivating story definitely going to read part two.
Daze might possibly be the one person she can trust, and yet all her life she was told how bad, evil, ugly people like daze are... Hale is gone but Daze feels so right even when fear should be taking over, the thought of daze washes away the fear.
I was captivated, Sinful Saint didn't read like any MC romance I've read before which made it fun. Yes it ended on a cliffhanger and left a ton of questions, but I couldn't stop reading.
