H. Z. Payne works as a research psychologist with a specialism in health psychology. When she’s finished work, she pours a cup of ambition and settles down with a good book from her overflowing TBR trolley. An avid bookworm Hannah has always had a creative flair, part of book clubs at school and writing since the age of 10. Over the years Hannah has published poetry, short stories, and various news articles through school and college networks. She resides in the South-East of England with her partner and 9 reptiles (currently on a book buying and reptile buying ban), often with a cup of tea in hand (mostly likely green).

I enjoyed so much about this book!

I have never read a Viking romance before and as a decent Marvel Cinematic Universe fan, I thought I would really struggle to remove Tom Hiddleston's face from my head (can you blame me???)

However, instantly this Loki just feels so very right.

There were so many excellent scenes in this book, Loki & Zeus, the shed, the theme park, the shopping trip, the sun roof! Ugh, it was just so much fun to read.

My knowledge on Norse Mythology isn't great and this book takes place after the events of Ragnorok, at times I felt like I was missing some information. I would have loved to have seen a bit more of before and some further detail and background on some of the Aesir we meet. Basically I am saying I want more.

This book is all about second chances and there is some excellent dialogue about morality and choices. I enjoyed the romance between the two main characters, the twist caught me off guard and I genuinely did not know how it was all going to end.

A fab little read that packs a punch!
